Our Nation Under Siege
Mantis Manny is at the Table
Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Our pious friend, Mantis Manny, is with me at the breakfast table. Manny has just learned that our open borders are opening once again. Although we have immigration laws on the books, the Obama administration has chosen to discard and disregard them. Nothing good can come of this. Manny would like to share his thoughts about this issue. He has asked for the pleasure of your company at the breakfast table. Manny will be serving homemade banana bread. I will be serving homemade Irish coffees. We hope to see you soon.
The Magic Wand
Thank you all for joining me this morning. The Obama administration is using its magic wand to re-shape the nation. Right now more than 30,000 illegal aliens are being re-located to American cities. This follows the first wave of illegals that entered the country with President Obama's blessing. The illegals come from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. The Obama administration does a good job talking about returning illegals, but the reality is quite different. The Department of Homeland Insecurity confirmed that it released more than 30,000 illegal aliens into neighborhoods throughout America. This isn't good news at all.
The ugly truth is that crimes being committed by illegals is on the rise. In December, 4,317 charges were filed against illegal alien pedophiles in the State of North Carolina. This is just one state and one type of crime. The full picture is catastrophic. On top of these figures, the DHS has released almost 166,000 convicted criminal illegal aliens into the states since April 2014. Many of these illegals were convicted of homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping and aggravated assault. The only reason these stats were made public is because Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against the DHS for failing to respond to a Freedom of Information Act request. The DHS ordered more than 700,000 non-criminal illegal aliens to deport themselves! They seem to have chosen to remain just where they are. Oh my, why am I not surprised?
A New Threat
Congress is considering new immigration laws that would open the borders to "guest workers" from the Middle East and Asia. I am quite sure that unemployed Americans will not consider this move by Congress a welcome change. It is not just jobs at stake, it is the safety of every American citizen. Why don't we just print up an open invitation to jihadists and welcome them with open arms, and I am not talking about weapons? A move like this is completely thoughtless and dangerous. Experts are warning Congress that this foolish plan would eliminate certain tech and IT jobs for American citizens. Experts are also warning that this influx of illegals will pose an enormous threat to our national security. Citizens of Muslim countries already have a way into America. They arrive here as refugees in re-settlement programs, as students who attend our nation's universities, or as employees of an American company. Proponents of this move argue that the United States has a "skilled labor shortage." If we do have a shortage, let's ramp up education in the nation and produce our own professionals. Many opponents of this scheme, point at that the notion of a labor shortage in Silicon Valley is a myth. Allowing a massive influx of Middle Eastern and Asian immigrants into America is akin to playing with matches. If this ill-advised plan comes into effect, we will be opening our doors to terrorism. These workers would come from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Iran. Is Congress planning on playing a cosmic joke on Americans? It certainly seems that way.
We need help in this country, but it isn't "guest workers." We need representatives who put our interests before the interests of corporate America or politicians. We need protection from an administration that is trying to re-shape our nation in ways that will change forever who and what we stand for. We need protection from people we elect who immediately forget that they work for us. We need protection from a president who makes his own laws and spits on those we have. We need to hold people accountable for the bad job they do fulfilling their obligations to our nation. We need help and protection, and right now there is a drastic shortage of both. God Bless America!
The moment I wake up
Before I stretch my wings
I say a little prayer for you....
