My Problems With Hillary

Updated on October 13, 2015

The Problems

1. The Adam Lambert Effect

I hate preordained winners. I'm sure I feel this way about a lot of things, but the first is where I really understood it and could articulate it bring to mind Adam Lambert. This is when Chris Allen and Adam Lambert were the finalists on American Idol. And when Katy Perry came out and in support of Adam Lambert. Resentfully, I voted as much as I could for Chris Allen (and also I loved his performance of Kanye's 'Heartless'). But Adam Lambert is awesome. I thought he was way better all season. Idk why that Katy Perry thing irked me like that. Fantasia was peerless In her season. I knew she was going to win. Everyone knew she would win. It was like whatever. Idk. But I digress.

Hilary was the preordained next president. And it was the sheer smarminess that people just presumptuously would toss it about. And she would Taylor Swift it. "Oh, I don't know if I'll run." And all of the bs plants at her events, "Oh my daughter and I pray that you run!" Disingenuous. Inauthentic.

2. "I was Broke When I Left the White House"

When she did that interview and said she was broke when she left the White House, I went through the roof. At the time, I literally had $3 and my water was shut off for nonpayment. I was baf (broke as f***). She and her husband had multimillion dollar book deals not to mention the ability to make speeches and appearances for hundreds of thousands of dollars. When you have that kind of commodity, you are never broke. Disingenuous. Inauthentic.

3. She Doesn't Give Obama his due Respect

She still seems to belittle Obama. She comes across as touting her foreign policy prowlers and suggesting she is superior to Obama in that area. But her time as Secretary of State wasn't that impressive. Is there peace in the Middle East? She hasn't even won a Peace Prize. Just saying. She just appears to judge President Obama more harshly than Bill Clinton.
Look Hilary, you lost. That election is over. Focus up. Bernie is on that behind and Trump is in the offing.

4. The Rosie Problem

I hated when the View had two Rosies. Not that two Rosies is a bad thing, but the way they pretended not to have two Rosies was so annoying. They would say "like Rosie said." Rosie who? When you have two Rosies, you have a Rosie O and a Rosie P. I can't tell you how many times I hear "Clinton...blah, blah, blah" and I think what is Bill doing now. And it's Hilary. Urgh. Same for "Bush." Can't we just say Hilary and Jeb? Whatever.

5. She's Over Handled

It took her -- months to apologize for the email thing. (Btw, Republicans are the ones that don't apologize. Rude. Silly. Her handlers say she is going to be more authentic and spontaneous. Huh? It highlights the problem. She is a product of focus groups and political correctness. She speaks in carefully crafted sound bites. Nothing seems real or genuine. Even her "emotional moments" seem performed and designed to create a response.

In closing, I don't know if these problems can be fixed. But if Hillary wants to win, she needs to do something. Hold a summit. Really do something that actually empowers people. Get Arsenio a new show and play piano. Or go on Wendy Williams. Something genuine and exciting needs to happen.
