Evil is not the Opposite of Good, it’s the Absence of Good

Updated on December 17, 2012

We as a nation are all still reeling from what happened in Newtown, Connecticut this past Friday morning at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. What type of a society have we evolved into that would spawn such an individual capable of perpetrating such a dastardly deed; 20 children and 6 adults were brutally shot repeatedly with an automatic weapon.

By now you’ve all heard the repeated cries for stricter gun control. Even the Messiah and Chief himself; while standing at the podium fighting back Bill Clinton Crocodile Tears seized the moment in Rham Emanuel fashion (never let a crisis go to waste) working in a plug for stricter gun control legislation. But an evil individual not an inanimate piece of metal and plastic killed all those people so controlling the mechanism not the root cause is not the answer, it’s the easy way out.

I proffer the proposition that you can’t legislate your way out of the root cause of what is plaguing society today. A void has been created by the Secularist (Democratic Party) which has been filled by evil incarnate itself. The Absence of Good is Evil; the Absence of God is Evil. God and Good are indeed synonymous!

For the past 50 years those on the left have focused as their main objective, the removal of God from America. They have attempted to remove In God We Trust from our currency. They have stricken the words under God from our Pledge of Allegiance. They have worked tirelessly to remove the 10 Commandments from all Federal and State Courts. They have successfully perverted this society to a point where the new normal was once the former perversion. And all the while the good God Fearing people of this nation have gone quietly about the business of living their everyday lives not recognizing the end game of these subversive activists who were out to destroy the moral fiber of this nation!

Following deductive reasoning it was only a matter of time before Evil rushed in to fill the void created by the Secularists removal of God. Without God there is no moral compass to guide our actions and the actions of the killer Friday in Connecticut were a reflection of someone acting without the benefit of a moral compass.

One point I must make here at the risk of seeming insensitive; the nation as a whole is outraged collectively at the murder of 20 innocent children yet each year 20 times 20 times 20 ad infinitum innocent babies/children are murdered in the name of abortion. And, are you aware of the fact that the Crocodile Teared One; Barrack Hussein Obama, voted for Infanticide while in the Illinois Senate. Another little tid-bit the Main Stream Media refused to inform the public about prior to his 2008 Coronation. Those of you not familiar with the term Infanticide; if a baby survives an abortion Barrack’s Law prohibits the facility to provide any care in order to save the infant’s life! But enough about abortion lest I lose half my readers right here; this rant isn’t about abortion it’s about the purposeful removal of God/good from our society by the Secularists Democratic Party and the void it left which spawned the perpetrator of Friday’s heinous act!

So while each of us strugglers in our own way to understand why such a heinous tragedy was allowed to happen I leave you with a famous quote from Roman Philosopher Cicero:

"Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the new wonderful good society which shall now be Rome's, interpreted to mean more money, more ease, more security, and more living fatly at the expense of the industrious." --Roman philosopher and statesman Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 BC)

Sound familiar; just as the people of Rome so willingly gave up their freedoms in exchange for a new wonderful society, so now the people of this country have willingly given up their Moral Compass and Religious Freedoms in exchange for a new wonderful Secular Society free from all Judgments of Right and Wrong. Newtown Connecticut is the end result of that choice!
