No Joke! 50 Ways Donald Trump will Make America Great Again
Donald Trump is the most vilified by the mainstream media of any president in recent American history – even as Barack Obama was the most adored. However, this hatred by the media (which, as is discussed below, has not been a friend of the people for a very long time) is one of the best indicators that Donald J. Trump is exactly the president we need. Here are 50 reasons as to why and how Donald Trump is, in fact, going to make America great again.
NATIONALISM VS. GLOBALISM
One of the defining characteristics of Donald Trump is that he is a nationalist and not a globalist. This means that he puts the interests of the United States, not the rest of the world, first.
While this would seem to be a no-brainer for the president of the USA, Trump is actually the first true nationalist president we have had in decades.
When a president starts an unnecessary war in another part of the world and creates thousands of refugees which he then feels obligated to resettle in this country, he is showing that he is a globalist, not a nationalist.
In contrast, let's look at some of the ways Donald Trump will put America first.
End of the Bush dynasty
We already had Bush 1 and 2 in office. We don't need a third Bush by the name of Jeb (who was the front runner and likely Republican nominee if Trump hadn't entered the race).
End of the Clinton dynasty
Bill Clinton was the only president in history to be successfully impeached (beating out Nixon for that honor). Do we really want such a man rewarded with the title of "first husband?"
Hillary Clinton primarily won her fame and notoriety because her husband was president. If this had not been the case, no one would have heard of her.
We need to choose our candidates from the best and the brightest in the country, not merely those who have the best name recognition by virtue of being related in some way to someone else. This is America. We don't have dynasties here.
Return to the principle that every nation, including the U.S., should be allowed to pursue its own best interests
America has long been called the "policeman of the world." Presidents usually say that we cannot continue to fulfill this role, even while pursuing policies that try to do exactly that. Furthermore, when we send manufacturing jobs to other countries rather than keeping them here, we are failing to pursue our own best interests.
End of globalism over nationalism
Nationalism means putting the needs of your own country first. Globalism means showing more concern over the rest of the world than you do over your own country.
Ironically, both liberals and conservatives can be globalists. Globalists start wars in other parts of the world and then say that we have an obligation to take in the refugees that have been created.
Trump, on the other hand, is a nationalist. This defines him even more than conservativism. He wants to put American jobs, American interests and the American people first.
Proof that the democratic process does still work in this country
The left has been trying to change the electorate in this country through a pattern of sustained and continued immigration of people more likely to vote for the Democrats. Incredibly, Republicans have largely gone along with this insane policy under the assumption that they can somehow figure out how to appeal to these same voters.
The only way they can do this is to become indistinguishable from the Democrats. This is a fool's game that only fools will be suckered into playing. Fortunately, The election of Donald Trump proves that the two-party system has not yet been destroyed.
Which of Trump's campaign issues do you think was most important?
Of all the issues touched on in the 2016 election, immigration has to be the most important – even more important than Supreme Court justices – and is consequently the issue that has generated the most hysteria from the left.
As Ann Coulter has pointed out in ¡Adios, America!: The Left's Plan to Turn Our Country Into a Third World Hellhole, demography is destiny, and if the demographics of the United States changes substantially, the culture of the country will necessarily also change to a similar degree (yeah, I know, it should be obvious).
Here are some of the concepts that Donald Trump has brought back into the debate after being ignored for so many years:
Return to the idea that the U.S. Is allowed to have national borders
Mexico is allowed to have national borders. Guatemala is allowed to have national borders. El Salvador is allowed to have national borders. Why are national borders considered illegitimate for the United States? Why, if our border is not being respected, should we not be allowed to build a wall to enforce it?
Return to the concept that Europe is allowed to have national borders
Aside from the United States, it seems the only countries that are expected not to have borders are those in Europe. France has accepted millions of immigrants, largely from the Middle East. Germany has accepted millions of immigrants, largely from the Middle East. Great Britain has accepted millions of immigrants, largely from the Middle East. Why are borders illegitimate for Europe and European-derived nations?
End of the use of immigration as a means of social control / disenfranchisement of the American people
Massive immigration to the United States has been allowed for only one reason: to disenfranchise the American people, especially conservatives. As Ann Coulter has pointed out, the Democrats failed to change the hearts and minds of the American people, so they decided, through massive immigration, simply to change the American people instead!
End of "refugee resettlement" as a means of social control, power and manipulation
The resettlement of refugees, for example Somalians in Minnesota, is also a means of controlling and reshaping the American populace. As Donald Trump has pointed out, these people can be given safe haven in refugee areas closer to their native countries, if we wish to help them out. They don't have to be shipped halfway across the world and given refuge in our own country.
Promise to finally build the wall on our southern border that has been talked about for over 50 years
Make no mistake: Trump will build the wall! Trump has every right to build the wall. The duty of every president is to defend the country's sovereignty. As a major real estate developer, Trump has a long history of building things. What better thing to build than a wall that protects and defends the United States of America? Trump will build the wall. It is his legacy.
JOBS AND MANUFACTURING
Return of our manufacturing base
It's no secret that over the past several decades manufacturing jobs in this country have been funneled out to other nations, especially China. Trump is changing the dialogue in this country, raising the argument that perhaps sending out our manufacturing jobs to other countries was not such a good deal for the United States after all.
Slowing and hopefully reversing the decline of the middle class
The headlines are all there: America's Shrinking Middle Class - Pew Research Center; Mapping the Decline of the Middle Class - CityLab; Most Americans Aren't Middle Class Anymore - FiveThirtyEight; The Shrinking American Middle Class - The New York Times; Decline of the U.S. Middle Class - Bloomberg View.
Perhaps this decline is due to the fact that this country has pursued policies, such as immigration, that has driven down wages, increased competition for jobs and enriched big business at the expense of the working class. Trump is the first Republican president in recent decades who has made the working class the focus of his presidency.
End of the completely self-serving corporatist idea that destruction of our manufacturing base somehow serves our economic best interests
Let's face it, over the last half century, a lot of our manufacturing jobs have left the country, going in particular to China. The rationale was that, by freeing up capital by having manufacturing done more cheaply elsewhere, companies and businesses would have more capital to spend in the United States, investing in jobs and infrastructure.
Only, it didn't work out that way. Job growth has remain somewhat anemic in the United States and the gap between the wealthy and the poor and middle-class has only gotten greater, and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), passed during Bill Clinton's administration, only made matters worse.
The thing to understand about the liberal/conservative divide is that liberals tend to be on the side of emotion while conservatives are more on the side of facts and reason.
This may come as a shock to many, since conservatives or Republicans are known as being the more devout, religious party while the Democrats are seen as the more secular, rational party, but a quick look at the facts will confirm that this is true.
Simply look at the recent presidential election, where are liberals used almost exclusively emotional arguments against Trump, calling him a "racist," Nazi, "Hitler," and suchlike. Look at the protests, the wailing and gnashing of teeth at the mere thought of a Trump presidency and you will see that this is true.
Liberal arguments against immigration control fall into the same category. They use emotional terms and arguments, such as calling up visions of the breakup of families, rather than the more logical arguments of whether massive immigration is really good for this country.
With that in mind, let's look at some of the positive effects that the Trump presidency will have in the area of culture and public discourse:
Complete destruction of the veneer of sanctimoniousness of the left
The Democrats have long portrayed themselves as being the more moral of the two major political parties in the United States. They have framed themselves as the party against racism, whereas, in reality, they are the party that most perpetuates racism.
By labeling everything as "racism," they have created racial divides were none formerly existed. They have claimed that they are in favor of increased immigration out of the goodness of their hearts, when in reality, they favor massive immigration because it gives them more votes, and therefore, more power and control.
Flipping of the concept of liberals as doves / conservatives as hawks
For decades, the Democrats portrayed themselves as being the more pacifist political party, and the Republicans the more warlike party.
Ronald Reagan was portrayed as a warmonger that would get us into war with Russia. This despite the fact that it was the Democrats under Lyndon Johnson that got us into the Vietnam war. The Iraq war could not have taken place without Democrat support.
More recently, we've had ill-advised incursions into Libya and Syria under Obama. As Ron Paul pointed out in a tweet, Obama is "a president who bombed 7 nations and became the first in US history to be at war every single day of his eight year administration."
Flipping of the idea of liberals being for the poor/working class, conservatives being for the wealthy class
Republicans have long been portrayed as the party of the wealthy and Democrats as the party of the working class, but this concept has been flipped in the 2016 elections.
Trump has championed, and has in turn been supported by, the working class, with his promises of bringing manufacturing back to the United States. Liberals, In contrast, pursue policies that increase poverty in the United States, the most obvious example being a massive immigration of millions of poor people into the country. This creates a social divide that pits the poor against the middle class and the middle class against the wealthy.
End of the entitled SJW crybully, "my opinions are the only ones allowable" mentality
We saw this mentality come to its full fruition during the 2016 presidential campaign with liberals shutting down Trump rallies, blocking roads, and, as has been proved by Project Veritas, Democrat-paid protesters inciting violence at Trump rallies. The complete, dismal, and humiliating failure of these tactics has been the best counter to them.
End of the idea that it's OK to shut down rallies, block roads and descend into chaos as a means of political protest
End (hopefully) of the vicious online Gawker-style character assassination/doxxing of anyone who departs from left-wing orthodoxy
Vox Day has documented in his book SJW's Always Lie the left's war on conservatives through social media, with prominent people, such as James Watson, co-discoverer of DNA, losing their jobs, prestige or social position because they made jokes or said something politically incorrect. The election of Donald Trump has dealt a major blow against this kind of intolerance and bullying of political dissent.
Destruction of the use of "gay rights" / "transgenderism as a means of distraction from the real issues facing the country
Let's face it, there are a lot of problems – crime, war, poverty, drugs, loss of jobs, crumbling infrastructure and much more – but the liberals have focused disproportionate attention on issues like gay marriage and "transgender rights" – issues that affect less than ten percent of the American population (transgender issues affect less than one percent of the public). These issues are just tools liberals use for dividing us.
End of blaming all problems on "racism," use of "anti-racism" as a means of social control and manipulation through a false sense of guilt
Liberals are like ghouls. They feed on "racism." Racism is what keeps them in political power.
According to liberal rationalizations, every problem in the country at some level can be tied to "racism" – poverty, crime, poor education, social discord, segregation, the environment – you name it.
The reality is that this is a lie. Most problems in the world are not due to "racism"– they are due to greed, selfishness and man's inhumanity to man. The word "racism, was not even coined until the 1930s (I suppose before then, no racial problems even existed). Constant harping on "racism" simply makes the problem worse.
One thing to understand about the mainstream media is that they no longer represent the interests of the American people, and they haven't for a very long time.
For decades, the media has been an attack dog for the left. Politicians know they have to be extremely careful what they say lest they rile the media. If they say something that's considered politically incorrect, the media may destroy them for it. This is how the media enforces orthodoxy.
But Trump stood up to the media bullies. He pointed out how the cameras at his rallies would never turn to show the size of his audiences. He constantly lashed out against the media – especially CNN – for their bias.
Trump was the only politician in memory who dared fight the media behemoth. And to many people's astonishment, he won! The media was completely humiliated by their inability to predict the outcome of the US presidential election and, indeed, their insistence that Hillary Clinton was way ahead of Donald Trump.
Exposure of the complete corruption of the mainstream media (thanks also to Wikileaks)
People said Trump was crazy for standing up to the media. They said no one could win against such a powerful entity with thousands of mouthpieces. But Trump had some powerful allies on his side. WikiLeaks, for example, exposed the corruption of the media like never before.
Exposure of collusion of MSM outlets with each other and the Democrat party
Terrible examples of collusion of the media with the Democrat party and the Clinton campaign were uncovered that would have forced massive apologies and reorganizations on the part of these media entities if they had come out during normal circumstances.
End of the phony veneer of sanctimoniousness of the mainstream media
The media up to the year 2016 had largely spoken as the voice of authority for Americans. When they said something was "racist" many or most people believed them. Members of the media were, after all, much more "educated" than the average American and was in the position to tell the "rubes" the difference between right and wrong. In 2016, this veneer, however, fell apart. Americans could see the media for the left-leaning propagandists they actually are.
Eventual dismantling of the mainstream media
With the Internet and the rise of bloggers and videographers, The People have a powerful alternative to the mainstream media. Alternative news sources, like Breitbart, are on the ascendancy.
While it is true that many online media outlets are subsidized by the left just as the mainstream media is, Americans are rapidly becoming wise to this fact, and they at least now have an alternative to the constant propagandizing of the traditional dinosaur media outlets.
The media's biggest weapon in their war against the American people was their claim of impartiality. 2016 exposed them as the partisan propagandists they actually are.
R.I.P. Mainstream News Media (Strong Language)
Maintenance of a Supreme Court that will uphold the Constitution
After immigration, the most important issue in this election is the Supreme Court. Aside from demographics, it is what most determines our nation's future. It is actually more important than any individual election. In the coming few years, the president is likely to select not one but multiple Supreme Court justices – two, three, possibly even four or more, which will shape the court for decades.
The key point to realize is that Supreme Court justices are old. Clarence Thomas is 68, Stephen Breyer is 78, Anthony Kennedy is 80, Ruth Bader Ginsberg is 83. The average retirement age of Supreme Court justices is 79.
Currently, there are eight justices and they often deadlock, voting 4-4. If Hillary Clinton were elected, we would probably be looking at 6-3 or even 7-2 majorities.
Trump has released a list of Supreme Court nominees which has been universally acclaimed by conservatives. Hillary Clinton's picks would have come from the regressive left, and a Clinton Supreme Court would have trampled over your rights.
For example, it would have trampled over free speech, with "hate speech" laws and the "Fairness Doctrine," which would clamp down on conservative media outlets (which are already in the minority). Religious freedom would be endangered as churches would be required to perform transgender marriages (mosques, on the other hand, would likely be excluded from this requirement for reasons of "cultural sensitivity").
Continued maintenance of the 2nd Amendment
This is so important, I gave it its own entry. The second amendment is the part of the constitution that liberals hate the most, which, is saying something, since they loathe the whole document. The second amendment is what safeguards the first. It protects you against overweening government and is the back up plan for when the first amendment fails.
Does Trump Sometimes Seem Offensive? Here's Why
Repudiation of the abuse of power by big business
Donald Trump is not against Big business, but he is against businesses using immigration as a form of cheap labor into drive down American wages.
Repudiation of the abuse of power by tech companies
Tech companies hate Trump. WIRED magazine has come down squarely against Trump. Apple refused to provide computer equipment to the Republican National Convention. Facebook has set up a "fake news" filter to censor users' feeds. Twitter has banned some pro-Trump personalities such as Milo Yiannopoulos. Jeff Bezos of Amazon owns the Washington Post (as alluded to by Trump) for the purpose of disseminating pro big-business and pro-monopoly propaganda.
Why do tech companies hate trump so much? Not because Trump is anti-technology, but because he threatens their source of cheap immigrant labor.
Repudiation of the abuse of power by our media companies
Did you know that 90% of all media companies are owned by just six major conglomerates? That means that 90% of all newspapers, magazines, movie studios, television stations, and news programs have just six bosses, when you go all the way to the top. This situation creates the illusion of choice when there really is none. While there may not be much Trump can do about this, his election shows that the general public is starting to become wise to the ways in which they are being manipulated by the mass media.
Continued enrichment of the top 1% at the expense of everyone else
According to Breitbart News, the worlds eight richest people, mostly "progressive" (read "liberal") own more wealth than half of the worlds population combined! Unfortunately, most of the mega-rich use their fortunes to propagandize the masses so as to increase their own power and influence.
While I don't pretend that Trump can do much to end this, I do think he will call out how the system is rigged in a way that has enriched so few (most of them "progressives") at the expense of so many.
Draining the swamp
Let's face it, there is massive corruption in Washington. Americans have known this for a long time, but, before now, since all presidential candidates came from "the establishment," little could be done about it. Donald Trump is the first president who has come from completely outside the political class. This puts him in a unique position to address corruption and cronyism like has never been done before.
End of corruption at the highest levels of government
Corruption exists at the very highest levels of government in the United States. This is a shocking and sickening fact that must be addressed. While Trump may not be able to get rid of the corruption entirely, I believe he is in a unique position as an outsider to do something about it.
Exposure of wrongdoing by the DNC (thanks Project Veritas, Wikileaks)
WikiLeaks has been a treasure trove of information about how our government works, as has Project Veritas on the operations of the Democratic National Committee. It is impossible to adequately express our shock as well as our thanks to these organizations for what they have uncovered.
End of the commission of heinous crimes at the highest levels of government as a way of establishing sociopathic credentials/mutual blackmail (as exposed by Wikileaks)
There are things that have been done that I cannot even begin to address on a family website, and which I will leave you to discover for yourself, which can be done through a simple web search.
[Hopeful] restoration of claim by the U.S. to moral authority as "leader of the free world"
America is long carried the mantle of "leader of the free world" but how can we fulfill this role if our country is ruled by a gang of criminals that flouts the rule of law?
LAW AND ORDER
Trump has declared that he wants to be the "law and order" candidate. Judging from the state of affairs of this country, including the violence of the summer of 2016, the shootings in Chicago and other major cities, we certainly need it! Let's look at some of the things that a trump presidency could accomplish:
Return to the rule of law
As Donald Trump has written in his book, Crippled America, "Making America Great Again requires restoring law and order, both on our streets and in our courtrooms."
End of the anti-police / law enforcement mentality personified by Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter is an organization that focuses on protesting our police, rather than the criminals who commit most of the black-on-black shootings in the United States. Black Lives Matter is an organization that spearheaded a chant during a protest along the lines of "What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want it? Now!" This makes Black Lives Matter nothing more than a terrorist organization.
Remembering the "Summer of Violence" of 2016
The summer of 2016 is what I have dubbed the "Summer of Violence." This is a summer in which we saw the worst terrorist shooting in our country’s history, multiple riots and several politically motivated shootings of cops, not to mention several horrific examples of terrorism in Europe, etc. after such a horrific summer, it is hard to believe that the American people would not be fed up with it I would not wish to elect someone who has a plan and the intention to do something about it.
End of anarchy
When the campaign speech of a major presidential candidate is shut down in a major city like Chicago, when roads are blockaded by protesters to keep people from attending a rally by that same candidate, when people rush the stage while the candidate is speaking, when protesters are paid to cause disruptions and violence at rallies (as exposed by Project Veritas) I call that a form of anarchy, and it must stop!
TRUMP'S 100 DAY PLAN
The following is a recap of what President Trump plans to do to make America great again starting in his first 100 days. (Note: this is just a summary of each point. For Trump’s full 100 day plan, visit his website. Trump's outlined plan is quite comprehensive and is available as a PDF.)
Middle Class Tax Relief and Simplification Act
Trump's plan to revive the economy involves a set of tax cuts and simplification (especially for the middle class), along with trade, regulation and energy reforms.
Ending Offshoring Act
Trump's well known desire to reduce the number of American jobs (especially in manufacturing) that are sent overseas.
American Energy and Infrastructure Act
Intends to use tax incentives to spur investments in our American infrastructure.
School Choice and Education Opportunity Act
Reduces obstacles to parents who want to send their children to private schools or homeschooling.
Repeal and Replace Obamacare Act
Trump's oft-repeated promise on the campaign trail to "repeal" Obamacare. Trump wants to let people purchase health insurance across state lines as part of what he calls health savings accounts. He also wants to cut red tape at the FDA, where he says that there are 4000 drugs awaiting approval, so as to speed up the introduction of life-saving medications.
Affordable Children And Eldercare Act
Lets citizens deduct childcare and elder care from their taxes.
End Illegal Immigration Act
One of Trump's best known promises. Funds the construction of a wall on our southern border with the full intention that Mexico will reimburse us for it (this will not be difficult, as we already send many billions of dollars in remittances to Mexico annually). Also imposes mandatory minimum prison sentences for those who re-enter the country illegally.
Restoring Community Safety Act
Creates a task force on violent crime and increases funding for police.
Restoring National Security Act
Expands military investment and eliminates the defense sequester. Also promises veterans better medical treatment and the opportunity to choose a doctor. Also implements new protections against cyber attacks and better vetting of immigrants.
Clean Up Corruption In Washington Act
Enacts ethics reforms to reduce corruption in government by outside special interests.
