Stinky Prepares Breakfast

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, September 8, 2019. Our fairly new friend, Stinky, is at the stove whipping up a batch of blueberry pancakes for our morning meal. Stinky contacted me a few days ago. He told me that he has noticed a dramatic shift away from respecting the laws of our country. The trend troubles him, and he is not alone. Stinky has asked me to extend an invitation to all the Breakfastpoppers this morning. He is hoping you will join him at the breakfast table to eat and discuss the state of our nation. I'll be there, too. We hope to see you soon.

Where's Lady Justice?

Thanks so much for joining Pop and me this morning. It has long been known that the wheels of justice turn very slowly, but these days it it hard to discern any movement at all. We see the beginning of investigations all over Congress, but there never seems to be an end to the prying. We have representatives in Congress calling for the abandonment of Israel. We have the left calling anything that moves to a different tune racist. Ugly words are flying through the air and on the airways, and there are no consequences at all. The left has declared open season on anyone who voted for Trump. They talk about freedom, but curtail the freedoms of all who disagree with them. They slander the president and his family,. They approve of violence against Trump supporters. They publicly hope that anything Trump be destroyed and that recession strikes just to prove that President Trump is a bad guy. They have lost there collective minds, but through it all it seems like it is just business as usual. The problem is that none of this is "usual" and it has to stop now.

Bring the Gavel Down

It is time to start holding people accountable for their actions. In fact, it is way past time. If there were true justice in our nation Hillary and Bill would be sporting orange jumpsuits. Instead, they parade around the country pretending to be good citizens. The list of crimes that they have committed is staggering, but they appear to be above the law. Each time the Clinton's escape justice, our nation loses itself in the process. People like the Clintons matter more than we do. They are special. They expect to get away with all manner of hideous behavior, and so far they have. Jeffrey Epsteins's death may throw a wrench in investigating who availed themselves of his ugly services, but the evidence is out there and those involved should be punished. I have no doubt that the Clinton's will be on that list if the truth is ever revealed. The Deep State is running for cover. Attorney General William Barr cannot allow that to happen. He has a lot on his plate, and I want to believe that he will get the job done. If Lady Justice is denied again, whether it comes to Jeffrey Epstein, Comey, the Clintons, the Squad or the rest of the bad characters we have in Washington, we will never recover. When people cannot trust law enforcement at the federal level, they have no reason to trust anything at all. We are reaching that point, and there may not be a way back.

Deying the Law

Governors and mayors who declare their states or cities to be sanctuaries for illegal immigrants evading the law should be arrested and charged with aiding and abetting a criminal. We have laws in our nation. States and cities cannot simply opt out of obeying those laws. If a state or city declares itself to be above the law, then the law must act. Anyone who stands in the way of law enforcement must face the consequences of their actions. People are dying because of the decision to declare a state or city off limits to law enforcement. There is no difference between these so called sanctuaries and the "no-go" areas in Paris and London. Law enforcement can't go in because it is too dangerous. We are approaching that same set of circumstances. No one is above the law and it is high time we proved it.

New York City is a perfect example of the collapse of law and order and respect for those who risk their lives to protect people every single day. Those that are throwing water at cops and laughing are doing so because they have a mayor who doesn't support or respect the police. The police are calling for his removal from office. Their outrage is understandable. The next cop who is injured on the job will have DiBlasio to blame. He has fostered disrespect for the laws of this nation. The police and the decent citizens they protect deserve better than what they are getting.

We all deserve better. We' re waiting for justice.

Stinky's Song

Stink bugs are obnoxious

So are politicians

We need a spray

To make them go away!
