Obama's On A Roll

Updated on August 24, 2011

Bad Luck Or Bad Timing?

Back during the election cycle of 2008, many of us with common sense and the ability to research sounded the alarm that it wasn't the right time in our nation's history to gamble with an inexperienced, unqualified candidate who aspired to the highest office of this nation. Even Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden were out on the campaign trail warning the Democratic masses that Obama was an empty suit and not qualified to be the POTUS. To compound the situation, the Republican Party ended up with RINO McCain as payback for being loyal all those years. The gamble was that there would be time to On-The-Job train someone to be the chief executive of the country who had never run anything other than his mouth in life. It was a terrible gamble with the odds against the American tax payer.

Historically, Obama will be a matter of history. For the very first time a black (kinda, sorta, maybe) individual was elected to the highest office of the greatest nation on earth. That will be a matter of history. So will Obamacare which was jammed down the throats of the majority of Americans who opposed it from the get-go and the opposing majority has grown as we have begun to "find out what's in it." Thanks to Pelosi and Reid for crafting a final bill behind closed doors when we were promised CSPAN and transparency.

The Blame Shifter-in-Chief did a remarkable job of spending almost a trillion dollars in short order called a stimulus bill which was really no more than used as payback for past political favors to the chosen sheeple at the federal feed bucket. That was another historical first. The largest federal appropriations bill ever passed. They're still trying to ride that "millions of jobs created or saved" leg to this very day. You remember. Spending that much of our money was going to insure that unemployment never rose above 8%. Where is it now? Did it rise above 10%? Ask yourself the hard questions when you think about Obama.

Now he has made history once again. Thass right folks! He's a real cereal box President this one. They're bound to put his likeness on a box of Wheaties when this fiasco is over. He has achieved another first, this time at the tax payer's expense once again. Whatchu talkin' about Frog Prince? I heard you.

How About Another Round Of Golf?

In just 945 days in office, Obama has increased the national debt a whooping $4,270,000,000,000. Never been done by any President before and it better not be done by any President again in the future. When he assumed office the figure was $10,626,000,000,000. It just topped $14,645,000,000,000. That's a whole lot of zeroes in anyone's book. This guy doesn't think in the billions but just loves those trillions. Don't believe me? Check out the National Debt Clock at the link.

Change You Can Believe In? Somebody Pass Me A Barf Bag Please!

He has increased the national debt faster than a speeding bullet with more smoke and mirrors than a locomotive. Now one of you wise sages out there please bother to inform us who is going to have to repay a debt like that? Then inform us further what they have to show us for spending that amount of money in a frenzy. And keep in the back of your mind, he's not finished yet, until 2012 rolls around mind you. He likes to tell us how he is going to slay the national debt dragon. Have you been listening to that? Are you believing it when his lips start moving? Obama is "agenda driven" and his agenda is spending more of our tax dollars and not cutting the spending needed to start putting the dragon to sleep. His dragon loves to munch on our, and future generation's, tax dollars.

But try reading his lips when he says that. Every time he utters that it is followed by spending proposals. Heard of his wanting to start an "infrastructure" bank? How about we start a "reduce the national debt" bank instead and pass a balanced budget or two along the way? A trillion itself is 1,000 billions. Hard to wrap your head around that one? Think of it this way. One trillion seconds ago the entire land mass of North America was covered in an ice sheet thicker than a ton of bricks stacked one on top of another. About a billion seconds ago Billy Bob Joe Ray Clinton was at the end of his second term.

Did George W. Bush spend more than he should have? There is no denying that. He increased the national debt by $4.9 trillion. But wait! He wasn't so bad after all huh because it took him 2,648 days to achieve that feat. Obama is making Bush look like a cheapskate. Every day our national debt under Obama is increasing by 4,247,000,000 dollars. Isn't that a comfort that he believes he can keep doing that to the American tax payer and the future generations to come?

What comes after a trillion? Here's what you need to do. Go to China and tell every last citizen there to take off their sandals and have a seat. Then start counting all the fingers and toes of them all until you reach that number. Then come on back and let us know. The sad thing is that once you finish that task, most of us will have gone through the pearly gates. So I'll give you the answer. It's a quadrillion but for heaven's sake, don't tell Obama and his minions.

Cartoon Of The Day

Joke Of The Day

President Obama has just confirmed that the DC earthquake occurred on a rare and obscure fault-line, apparently known as "Bush's Fault".Obama also announced that the Secret Service and Maxine Waters continue an investigation of the quake's suspicious ties to the Tea Party. Conservatives, however, have proven that it was caused by the founding fathers rolling over in their graves

Thanks trimar. Things are okay but I haven't had the itch to write so I've been quiet. Besides the fact that there is someone following me around here, everything is just peachy,

Off to the link and thanks. It is a bit over the top and I saw it the first time on the Fox News channel on 5 at 5.

Hey Prince - hope all is well - interesting perspective on your hub - I was checking my email this morning and found this video/article. I think it is going more than a little over the top but thought you'd get a chuckle.

I picked Herman Cain after the first debate - I figure a black man got us into this mess, it's gonna take a black man to get us out!:-)

Seriously we don't need another politician president, for a change!

With that kind of loot maybe he won't care if he gets back in or not. What do you think of Herman Cain? I think he is very interesting. I always thought we needed someone not a politician and this man is very intelligent. He has proven he is good with finances. Well probably the politicians would see to it he never got in because they all are lining their pockets and won't push each other but so far because they are all guilty.

Good joke of the day, especially since hiking is better exercise than running your mouth.

The video tsadjatko provides gives an idea for a joke too, especially when we remember that the earthquake that rocked DC hit something like a week or two after somebodies birthday, and could be regarded as 'message sent': 'landslideable'. Who invented that word anyway?

Perhaps Obama was given some bum info by one of his highly paid advisers. They may have lead him to believe the larger the deficit number, the better the President.

If you want to join the discourse it would be nice if you told the whole story now wouldn't it - or do you have your own agenda? The debt now is rising at a pace to surpass Bush's 8 year amount during Mr. Obama’s four-year term.

Tuesday, August 23, 2011 - The latest posting by the Treasury Department shows the national debt has now increased $4 trillion on President Obama’s watch.

The debt was $10.626 trillion on the day Mr. Obama took office. The latest calculation from Treasury shows the debt has now hit $14.639 trillion.

It’s the most rapid increase in the debt under any U.S. president.

The national debt increased $4.9 trillion during the eight-year presidency of George W. Bush. The debt now is rising at a pace to surpass that amount during Mr. Obama’s four-year term.

Obama is done...unless he can keep his office by a "Suspended Elections Revolution". Listen to this video, especially from 4:45 on.

"Did George W. Bush spend more than he should have? There is no denying that. He increased the national debt by $4.9 trillion."

He did mush worse than that. We are left with eternally renewing budget items such as free drugs for seniors (unconstitutional) and No Child Left Behind (ibid). The Bush legacy will persist.

Incredible Hub! Great documentation of a great travisty. I have never seen such a popular President go down the tubes even as far as his own people as bad as this one has.

A great Hub, Prince Frog, you've outdone yourself this time! Quite a few Democrats are even beginning to realize that the country has taken a wrong turn, its about time! Its been an expensive detour, lets hope a republican president can limit the damage in 2012 and beyond.

I'm cheering here, sir Frog. This is exactly the kind of point blank, non-candy coated truth telling we need so much more of. The election can't come soon enough for the people. Sadly, our nation is going to be suffering over what this administration has done for generations. Hubtastic hub here!

Yeah, Frog, Obummy is on a roll all right. And he is hell bent on taking the rest of us in the U.S. down his socialistic road to ruin. By now, surely even apathetic citizens realize how inept and inexperienced he is. We all have to remember in Nov. 2012 to 'throw the bums out!'

Jim, I figure when your closing line is my favorite on the entire page, you've exceeded your usual sterling standard.

"Conservatives, however, have proven that it was caused by the founding fathers rolling over in their graves."

Of course, that "Take a Hike" suggestion for the Prez's next vacation is a close runner-up.

At least, the Lame Quacker period after Election Day 2012 will come to be known (at least in his family archives) as Biblical. After all, when it comes to his Presidency, it will definitely be the End of Days.

      I can hardly wait.

I still remember the day Obama said we had to start controlling spending in this country. At the time I thought, "And what is the largest amount of money you have ever controlled?" It seems that no matter how badly the Great Evolver performs the left continues to poor accolades over him. Can history afford such a glorious footnote as the first Black President? Was that really going to heal this nation? Could we not find a better representative of overcoming our "traditional racism"?

For all the hype on this guy at the time, how can anyone continue to support what has become our own quiet Waterloo?

Great job FP... I would have expected nothing less.

One thing I noted long ago was that Liberals tend to be emotion driven and take things on faith. Conservatives tend to rely more on logic and evidence. I've concluded that is one reason we are unable to communicate with each other. Like the stimulus, if you are liberal your faith tells you it is supposed to work. If it doesn't than you figure you have to do more of it. A conservative will figure it didn't work so we better try something else.

Up and all across. A great blog. Maybe the Secret Service and Maxine Waters have an issue; maybe I caused the earthquake, somehow. After all, I weigh about 150 pounds; if I was jumping up and down, I could have created great tremors that threatened our very existence. But I am very responsible, and would never jump up and down given my enormous ability to impact the earth's stability (hey, you know, it's just the kind of guy I am). So, Maxine, jump in a lake, shut up, and LEAVE ME ALONE.
