Obama's Open Mic

Open Mic?

President Obama had another moment of "truth" this week. He was "caught" off guard with an open mic or so we are told. While at a Chicago fund raiser this past Thursday night, a CBS reporter heard Obama speaking to donors after "he thought" all the reporters had left the room (yeah, sure). What this reporter heard was the real Obama. He didn't hear the hypocritical pleasantries of bi-partisanship or even the now long forgotten "civil discourse" he pleaded for after the Tucson shootings. I guess civil discourse is now, once again, a one-way street in Obama Land. What was said by our "civil" president was despicable and callous. President Obama stated, "You want to repeal health care? Go at it. We'll have that debate. But you're not going to be able to do that by nickel-and-diming me in the budget. You think we're stupid?" For one thing, as an attorney, President Obama should know you should not ever ask a question with which you don't already have the answer. I'm not sure he wants anyone to answer that last question. Second, Obama used bad terminology with "nickel and diming." Everything this President does costs in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

He was also irked that the GOP tried to attach the defunding of Planned Parenthood to the budget bill. Obama then said, "Put it in a separate bill. We'll call it up. And if you think you can overturn my veto, try it. But don't try to sneak this through." Hmmmm...I know what he means. It's sort of like backroom deals and possibly an unconstitutional reconciliation method to push a bill through that was not a budgetary matter. That sort of thing seems to irk the President for some reason. The President then showed what everyone already knew; his outright contempt for Senator Paul Ryan of Wisconsin. He blasted Senator Ryan's $5 trillion budget cutting plan with the senator quietly sitting there perplexed at this so-called "world leader."

I have doubts that this "open mic" was inadvertent. President Obama is a cold, calculating politician. Everything he does is with a purpose. He had already attempted to embarrass a man (Sen. Ryan) by taking apart his plan on nationwide TV. At least Sen. Ryan was making an attempt to bring our massive debt under control. Sen. Ryan's plan embarrassed Obama. Here was a U.S. Senator and a Republican at that, who was doing what the President of the United States SHOULD have been doing. President Obama was beaten to the punch about trying to bring our debt and federal spending under control. This is the same President who has not even responded to the International Monetary Fund's request that the USA get its spending under control. I honestly believe Obama was embarrassed by Senator Ryan and that was the reason for his "open mic" moment when he showed how much he truly hates Republicans. Now, Obama would not be the first President to display his hate for the opposing party. But, President Obama is one of the biggest hypocrites to ever occupy the Oval Office by calling on "bi-partisanship" and "civil discourse" with the GOP. He does this while all the time he is doing all he can do to undermine the Republicans. I thought he got the message in November of 2010. I can see now I was wrong.

What we saw in this"open mic" episode is a President who is backstabbing radical who will do anything to further his and the far left-wing's agenda. As I have said before in another hub (Barack Obama: The Thin Skinned President), Obama does not take criticism well. He shows an immaturity that does not suit a nearly 50 year-old man. President Obama and his administration is the most devious, most corrupt since possibly the Ulysses S. Grant administration. The OBamacare bill was all the proof I need. I won't go into the illegal federal job enticements in Pennsylvania and Colorado. I think that speaks for itself. I give him credit for one thing, in regard to the "open mic" comments; his White House spokesman, Jay Carney, stated there were "No regrets" about the open mic comments. That told me what I have felt from the time the story broke this week. This was a deliberate act. President Obama has no honor, no common decency. He is a hypocrite, a do-whatever-it-takes Socialist. In November of 2012 Obama has to be voted out of office. If he is not, this country will not survive another four years of Barack Obama.

Good piece. To say it simply, four more years of Obama will leave this nation no less than a distant 2nd behind China on the global scene, probably behind others as well, and in an economic mess the likes of which we will not recover from in our lifetimes.

Here are some other Obama quotes to mull over:

Obama- "Look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. --- If you've got a business, you didn't build that. Someone else made that happen."

Obama - "We're not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at some point you've made enough money."

Obama - "White people are bitter and cling to their religion and guns"

Obama - "“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

I'm wiating for news commentary to get on track and start showing how the stuff he does is no accident: Barack Obamaa, in my opinion, is the most Satanic person to ever occupy the whitehouse. I hope and pray, although I think it is indicitive of the times, that he loses the Presidency. Unfortunately, I think we are witnessing the demise of the United States from it's status as the World's Leader.

Global hustler in the white house. A man who road in on the vain, vague promises of hope and change. I told people long ago, he's a Trojan horse. Now he's in the gates pilaging God blessed liberties. He's defiant an audacious con, who hides behind the a Christian garb. He's about as Christian as lucifer speaks truth...Gods word calls such a man crafty...the word duplicity fits him well.

Polly - Obama lives in Lalaland making all his grand pronouncements. It turned out that the guy and his wife have 10 children. Put that in his Volt and smoke it huh?

You might want to check "Trump This" that I wrote. Very irrefutable video of a controversy that continues.

There is no doubt in my mind that Obama is the reincarnation of evil. No doubt at all.

Did you hear what Obama said to the man complaining about gas prices? He might want to trade in on a Hybrid car. I guess he thinks we can all write bad checks just like him and get away with it. You know I know Christians are not suppose to feel this way but if there is not a hell for that man to burn in I will be more than a little disappointed. He laughs in this whole country's face yet still you have so many blind who think he is a god...and like satan, he is.

David - I wrote about his previously not wanting to raise the debt ceiling in 2006 yesterday, among other issues.

I happen to believe that he knows exactly what he is doing. I also happen to believe that Soros and other people are pulling his strings as we go along.

Frog, I talked about Obama ignoring the IMF warning in another hub. What he is doing to the U.S. economy seems...almost intentional. I refuse to believe he doesn't understand the dire consequences of raising the debt ceiling and his continued spending. The U.S. Treasury is not a money tree with endless leaves of money. He has to realize what he is doing.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I have kind of tuned Beck out because of some of his going off on the deep end this way. But, I'm coming around to believing that Obama is trying to destroy this country economically. Is it to destroy the capitalist system and build it into a Socialist economy and government entity? I'm starting to lean that way. Just as with the open mic (heard today that CBS didn't play the entire tape...allegedly he called Americans "slugs" on the tape), I believe what Obama is doing with the economy is intentional. He has a motive. His true motive is starting to come out.

As for the old Guard Republicans; they are as dangerous, if not more so, than Democrats. Rove is as much a joke as Trump. I don't think Trump will run, I believe he is doing this for attention. I'm tired of the Republicans as I am Democrats. After 2012, when we kick Obama out of office, I am all for a third party, a VIABLE third party. It is time, frog.

David - They have ignored the warnings, one of the chief money lenders, warnings. Then the IMF issued a warning and that was blown off. So along comes S&P so I didn't expect less from this bunch than to do their attack dog routine.

Within 2 years, if things don;t change on the spending front, our credit rating will be downgraded from its AAA rating. That the people will pay dearly for. Most liberals don't understand economics and don't want to.

I'm a Tea Party member and that seems to be where people are now focusing, again with the left attacking something they don't like. The Old Guard Republicans need to be booted as they are obstructing the people with the new ideas. People like Rove need to shut the hell up and drift off into the sunset. It will take a couple of election cycles to clean up this mess, if we have enough time now.

Frog, what do you think about S&P downgrading the USA? We all knew that was coming, weren't we? So, what did the Obama Administration do? What they and liberals do best; they attacked S&P. S&P wants this country to get handle on it's spending. But, Obama isn't about to tear up his credit card. He's taking us down the drain with him. The only thing that surprised me is how fast he did it. I don't see the Republicans being our saviors either. We were mad about that 38 billion in savings, only to discover it was actually only $352 MILLION.

We need a third party. That is the only thing that can save this country. Our politicians have gone insane.

David - What I do know is that Obama is now intent on facing down Paul Ryan. I watched the health care summit where Ryan ate his bill for lunch from the fiscal aspect. Obama hasn't forgotten. He basically made a fool of Obama on National TV, but then again, Obama asked for it.

    Ryan knows his stuff.

BTW - I posted a video montage this morning you might want to take a look at. The topic is civil discourse.

Frog, Obama won't let any opportunity go by without attacking his enemies. That is why I continue to believe the open mic was a deliberate act.

breakfastpop, Obama is not only bad for America, he is bad for the world in that he is vacillating which makes him appear weak.

The only thing I'm sure of is that Obama is bad for America. If that mic was left on on purpose than he is even more disturbed than I thought.

David - That open mike was in Chicago and is a prime example of the Chithugo brand of politics he has brought to Washington. Without his teleprompter we see the real Obama. With his teleprompter, someone else is telling the idiot what to say.

Excellent piece of journalism David. When you get time check out what I reported on today about another broken campaign promise.

    As I said, excellent work.

OP, I tend to believe that as close as the MSM is with Obama, this open mic was there with his blessing. Even if he didn't know about it, he showed absolutely no regrets about the incident. But, this was a cold, calculating political move by Obama. I don't know what he hoped to gain from it. But, he is much smarter, politically, than any of us give him credit.

Obama would not operate his own sound equipment including microphones. If an employee had caused this "open mic mistake" he would be hanging by his thumbs in front of the White House. I agree, this was an intentional mistake.
