Obama's gross failure with Iran deal, and ISIS, puts administration's incompetence on full display.

Updated on July 18, 2015

No Plan?

Living in a leftist fantasy world

There is a modern day holocaust taking place, at the hands of the islamic state. ISIS is a brutal, ruthless, cold hearted enemy, that has been emboldened, by a so called coalition that never really got off the ground, due to the lack of leadership by the US. ISIS can be defeated, but it must be done with common sense, and leadership, not with diplomacy. You cannot be diplomatic with people that regularly cut people’s heads off, crucifies children, and burns people alive in cages. Ronald Reagan was obviously no pushover, and he had a unique way of summarizing the proper way to deal with evil. "Peace through strength". It worked very well for Reagan, as it utilized the best of diplomacy, and the most sensible use of military force. Reagan had no problem sitting down with world leaders in a diplomatic fashion. However, when Reagan drew a red line, it was enforced to a tee, and he had no problem getting up from the table and walking away. Reagan was a man that stood on principle, and he would not allow outside forces or pressure, influence his decisions. The Obama regime has a twisted view of the world. A view, that only sees sunshine and lollipops, and has a LEGO movie mentality, that “everything is awesome”. They fail to see, and acknowledge real evil in the world. That miscalculation, is proving to be fatal, for many people around the world, including Christians, Muslims, and Jews. This fight needs a leader, someone to bring countries and governments together, to fight as one, against a common enemy in radical Islam. Obama can not even bring himself to say the words, “radical Islam”, much less wage a war against it.

Our so called, “major political parties” both have it wrong. Democrats want to sit at a table with terrorists and play footsie, while taking a “can’t we all just get along” approach, to a resolution that hasn’t, and never will manifest. The so called ”hawks” in the republican party, take a “drop bombs first, ask questions later” approach. We need to remember, that Americans are not the only able bodied soldiers in the world. You have the Kurds, that have proven themselves to be worthy adversaries to ISIS, and even defeating them on a few occasions in key battles. President Obama still refuses to give lethal aid to the Kurds, or offer them any assistance whatsoever. Also, we have yet to rally, and make use of Sunni Muslims in the region, that could also provide worthy soldiers in this fight against ISIS. The Iraqis, that Obama is taking credit for “training”, have shown that they are quick to throw down their weapons and run in the opposite direction, at the very sight of an ISIS flag. I this case, why are we going to send our ground troops to Iraq to die, when the people that live there, won’t even fight for their own land. Maybe we have given them the impression that the US will always intervene, without question. We need to unite the Sunnis, the Kurds, and Iraqi troops to launch an all out balls to the wall offensive, then use US forces, to help in the areas that need additional equipment, or manpower. The President, is always so disconnected, with global events, and even events here in the US, unless it involves a black man being shot by a white cop, while pushing a race based, black against white narrative. Or, a mass shooting by a so called,”violent extremist”, so that he can exploit the horrible event, in order to make a push for gun control, again.

Inadvertently Aiding the Enemy

The policies of appeasement

The President is guided by an extreme leftist ideology, that does not allow him to act outside of an appeasement mentality. Appeasement of terror, breeds more terror. Similar to appeasement of the needs of a toddler. If they scream, “Mommy, i want, I want, I want, I want, waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh”, while pointing to a toy in walmart, and you grab the toy, and take it to the checkout, pay for it, and hand it to the spoiled child, that child owns you. Same goes with Iran, and ISIS, they say jump and we say how high. John Kerry and his disgusting display of all but kissing the feet of the Iranians, then agreeing to a disaster. As a result, we have put Israel in an impossible position, where they know that they must now strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, to protect their people. All while, part of the new agreement between Iran and the US, states that the US will provide assistance to Iran, in protecting their nuke facilities. Yes, you read that correctly. Our world has been completely turned upside down, what is right is now wrong, what is wrong or immoral is now commonplace. Our country is morally bankrupt, from DC, all the way down to the electorate. We need to change course ASAP, while there is still something to preserve. Can we last another year and a half, with an empty suit in the oval office?

2003? Seriously? The Kurds have been very successful in pushing ISIS BACK, and defeating them on multiple occasions. What relevance does an operation from 12 years ago have, and what point are you arguing? I appreciate the response, I am just trying to figure out where you are coming from. ISIS exists due to the vacuum that has been created by the US and it's nation building and it's support of regime change. ISIS occurred because our forces there withdrew, without regard for the consequences of such a speedy withdraw. Obama did it for political points, and did not care what the outcome was. Bush on the other hand, pushing for Saddam ' s removal, started the ball rolling, but pointing fingers this late in the game does not accomplish anything. We need to deal with the problems at hand. Pointing fingers solves nothing. We have had foreign policy disaster occurring long before Obama, although Obama seems to be the worst in terms of total incompetence.

Say what you want about the Kurds, they have smacked down ISIS on more than one occasion. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/5910664

See my use of Huff Po as a reference. Hardly indicative of a "supporter of the Republican party".

I'm not a Republican moron, I'm a registered libertarian. Fox news polls are just like any other, and you take them with a grain of salt, as polls are only as good as the sampling. I recognize that fox news is just as restricted as to what they can air, as msnbc or cnn. Obama however allows them to get away with a little more in terms of dissent, so that he can make them the bad guy, when he screws up. In Obama's world, there is always a scapegoat.

Of course your poll is from Fox News a supporter of the Republican party. If you want to lump what the U.S. Has done to Isis you should read up on Operation Viking hammer.
