Oh Woe Is Me Barry

So Lets Hold A Pity Party And Hope Someone Attends

We're down to the sympathy votes. Has anyone got a Kleenex? Or maybe a box of them may be needed on this Hub. Forget that with this fairy tale of woe, better ship me in a case so I can wipe the tears from my eyes. I'll share some with you as you read along because I know this will tug severely on your heart strings. Are you aware that Barak Hussein Obama had to ride a bus or subway just to get a fresh piece of fruit? Sniff, sniff, sniff... When I was a kid I was lucky to even see a fresh piece of fruit. Maybe I should write and tell Barakie Poo that I used to have to walk 5 miles to school with shoes that had holes in the bottom of them (remember those card board inserts you made) down a set of railroad tracks. How utterly ridiculous that he now has his minions out giving pitches that are so ridiculous that they are actually pathetic.

Good Golly Miss Molly! Just the other day Moocelle was explaining to his adoring, drooling admirers how he was akin to the second coming of Moses. She told a crowd in Nashville this past Tuesday that "This President has brought us out of the dark and into the light." He is the one who made the oceans recede and has healed the planet. He has led us out of the wilderness into the promised land. Wowser!!! Is that far fetched or what? Obama has reached biblical proportions. This whole campaign trail farce is getting to be a regular comedy routine. I keep wondering who is going to say what next to deflect any attention away from his failed record.

Scotty! Beam Him Up...

So back to the NAN conference and Shaun Donovan, the Secretary of HUD. Did you notice Al Sharpton sitting there as "the only member of the 'media' who talks about Obama's greatness?" That's one snake oil salesman hyping another. All what work? How many lavish vacations has he taken or how many rounds of golf has he played at our expense? If he grew up poor, which he didn't, he's making it for it now on our dime.

What Shaun said doesn't match up to Obama's upbringing. I have happened to have read his books. He feels your pain folks. He has supposedly walked the walk. Now he can talk the talk but the walk part is doubtful. He never lived in a food desert in his life unless it was in Kenya. He was brought here shortly after he was born into the state of Hawaii. Shaun should have stopped the lies at the supermarket entrance but he couldn't help himself. He just had to make the crowd weep hysterically. I would have burst out laughing myself.

Say I Did What?

His explanation of why Obama has put all his failed policies in place goes as follows: “Because he knows what you know: He knows what it’s like to walk the halls of public housing because he’s worked there.” Notice that he didn't go so far as to say he lived there. Yet. There is a huge difference between where you work and where you live, especially in his case. But it got even more absurd because the next thing out of his mouth is a bald faced lie. You ready for this? I not sure how he could say this and keep a straight face. What crowd was he addressing if he knows what they know?

“He knows what it’s like to walk the streets of some of our cities’ poorest neighborhoods because he’s lived there. What it’s like to take a subway or a bus just to find a fresh piece of fruit in a grocery store.”

They don't have a subway system in Hawaii. I know. I lived there for 7 years of my adult life. I also can't think of anywhere on the island of Oahu where his grandmother's house was that is a "food desert." Was this in Kenya or Indonesia Shaun? He's making it sound like Barry grew up in a ghetto. He didn't. Obama chose to be a Community Organizer on the south side of Chicago. He didn't live in the hood by any means. Why are these little known sad sack facts not included in his books? He talked about snacking on Rover in one but come on now.

The College Days

The next real tear jerker was this, which again is nothing but fabrication. According to Shaun, Obama had to wonder about whether he could “afford a college education or decent health care." Really? Being a "facts guy," I am concerned about the lack of facts surrounding Obama's education at some of the nation's most prestigious, in name at least, educational institutions. People who attend Occidental College, Cornell University and Harvard aren't usually destitute. Why are his college records sealed so the public can't actually see how Obama financed his way through college, if in fact there was financing involved?

Continuing on with the "poor Barry routine" he went here next saying, “And [Obama] knows what it’s like to be judged not on your merits or your talent but because of where you come from, what your name is or even what you look like.” Yeah well I had big ears too when I was a kid. Let me see here. Supposedly, again, Obama was the editor of the Harvard Law Review. Did he obtain that spot through merit or did they just flip a coin? Did he attend prestigious universities by merit or was he just given a free pass? How many children have you witnessed in your lifetime who were made fun of because of their name? I reckon Barry had to suffer through those trials and tribulations of growing up alone. Why spin a fairy tale out of what many of us had to learn about growing up. Obama isn't exactly the Lone Ranger.

This last video is one that was shot when Obama first burst onto the national scene. Listen to it closely and connect the dots that we are seeing.

Fresh Ideas? No Record To Run On?

"When you don't have a record to run on then you paint your opponent as some one you should run from." His words, not mine. That's exactly what Obama and his minions are now doing. His tactics are about as stale as a box of decades old corn flakes. They failed before and we see them failing again. "You make a big election about small things." How much smaller can a person be than to have a failed record and resort to class warfare in our nation? I think we're about to bear witness to that question. Keep in mind that Obama was a Community Organizer as you watch the rhetoric.

But lets stop with the fairy tales and the make believe about the man. He has written his books. I suggest you go to the library and check them out if you don't want to buy them and waste your money, then read them. Obama is good at wasting our tax payer dollars (5 trillion big ones and counting) so you might not have enough left to waste. This go round lets have all his college records unsealed and his birth records out there in plain view so we can judge for ourselves and not to hear crap like Shaun Donovan wants to spill all over us.

It is hard to get the measure of a man when the records of his past are sealed.

Wow the spin machine continues. Desparate times since he can't refer to his pathetic record, he has to reach the masses some way. Sadly tho there are some that'll buy into the farce. Have a great weekend FP!

This is Obama's pathetic attempt to appeal to the "Little People".....all of us whom he considers the "Great Unwashed", the "Bitter Clingers".

Now he and his family travel EXTENSIVELY in OUR AIRPLANES, always seperately just because they CAN.

He has played more rounds of golf than my retired husband, "THEY" have taken SIXTEEN vacations at tax payers' expense and now, in his magnanamous show of 'humility' is sharing his sad stories of how difficult it was as a child................what idiots he must think we are!

[I'll bet he charged the tax payers for the peach prop in the grocery store photo-op......sheesh!!!]

Poor Obie, really brings a tear to a glass eye. Think "Orange Boy" Boehner would lend me a tissue? It's possible Obama did spend a small part of his life in poor circumstances, but from what I've read, most of it has been middle class and upper middle class. And he must have become wealthy at some point, as he had to pay $1-$2 million to seal his records. If he "feels our pain" as he says, it's only because he's not wearing gauntlets when he's throwing it at us. On the budget, don't worry - ObamaCare's new tax on tanning machines may raise enough to pay off the debt, even if the Senate never passes a budget. My only fear is that Boehner may need prescription tissues, and he's too young for the IPAB panel. Hopefully, the added claim expenses from Boehner won't offset the new revenue stream.

For a good read on the Obama's past, check out the article in the American Thinker. Obama is the best our Affirmative Action programs produced.

Food desert!!!!!!!!! I just read a report that refuted this entire concept. As for Michelle's statement, that came right out of the Poltergeist movie. Up and awesome.

I have been brought to tears. Poor little Obie. Those fresh fruits known as pineapples grow everywhere in Hawaii. As do oranges. Too bad they didn't grow in the "subway" little Obie was forced to ride.

Gusser - Plenty of bananas too. Had a couple in my backyard for the picking. The real deal is that they need to try to reinvent Obama now. His old facade crumbled as time moved forward.

There is just something strange when talking about Obie and fruits. They do seem to be a match for the DemoCAN party. ;-)

So, tell me Frog. If the activists succeed in proving that Oblowme is, indeed, NOT a qualified candidate to be president in the next few months, what would the election look like? Would Joe step into the oval orifice? Obviously the swelled heads of the liberal politicians haven't given this a first thought, much less a second. Say there is rock solid proof that Barry was not qualified for the 1st term much less a number two term? What happens in November?

      I'm just sayin'!

Frog: Somehow (thankfully) I'd missed that "piece of fruit" bit. I can't match your "5 miles on the tracks to get to school" bit, but on the fruit thing, let's see...nope.

Sorry. We had raspberry bushes to the left of Mom's garden, sometimes strawberries IN the garden, and apple trees around two sides of the thing.

Of course, most of the apples had worms, and only one wasn't a crab apple tree. You had to watch for rattlesnakes enroute to the trees, but Dad solved the problem of the black bear who decided one year to argue over apple ownership from a comfortable perch in the one non-crab tree. (We ate the bear. No dog. Just bear.)

One thing he's got right: This will be a big election about at least one small thing. When it comes to greatness in men, you can't get much smaller than the incumbent and his mantra of "divide and conquer" when it comes to American citizens.

Not sure about backporchstories, but I know I'm sitting here wondering what to say with respect to all the apparent disconnects. The question that keeps going through my head is this: Where do kids who live in Hawaii (or Indonesia) go for vacation anyway?, and if they were not yet old enough to understand, how do they know where they've lived?

Children of world travellers do not have the same sense of roots as those who grew up in one place all their lives.
