Manny is Praying For America

Good Morning, Breakfstpoppers. Today is Friday, August 29, 2014. Our dear friend, Mantis Manny, is at the breakfast table. Manny has been following recent events concerning the terror organization ISIS and now believes that prayers alone are not going to cut it. Manny has asked for the pleasure of your company this morning. He has prepared cinnamon buns that are beyond delicious. I will be preparing Irish Coffees. We hope to see you soon.

ISIS OR ISIL

Thank you all for joining me this morning. Let me begin by bringing up a matter that I personally find both disturbing and revealing. The terror organization referred to as ISIS has undergone a name change. President Obama and his minions now refer to ISIS as ISIL and there is more to it than just a few differing letters. President Obama began using the term "ISIL" quite deliberately. It stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. ISIS refers to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. The Levant consists of Iraq, Syria, Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, southern Turkey and Palestine. Using the term ISIL appears to take the focus away from Iraq and Syria, the two places that show quite glaringly, President Obama's failed foreign policy. By bringing all these other countries into the mix, President Obama's delicate and massive ego remains intact, at least in his own mind. The world is imploding and your president has time to play the name game.

Planning Ahead

If only your President Obama had marked his day planner with the day he was apprised of the rise of ISIS. ISIS was long in the making. To be exact, this administration was told about the terror group four long years ago. There were warning signs all along the way. ISIS has been building an army and building their treasury. This administration chose to dismiss the murderous terror group and President Obama went so far as to refer to them as a a Junior Varsity team. Does anybody get President Obama in the White house long enough to bring him up to speed? is there anyone in his tight little circle capable of doing that? So, what do we have now? We have a growing threat not only to the Middle East but to the United States. We have a threat that should have been addressed at least four years ago. We also have unsecured borders, because border agents are changing diapers and handing out pablum. While agents are burdened with child care, murderers are able to enter the U.S. quite easily. The combination of open borders and the existence of a savage group such as ISIS is positively deadly.

Obama Wants a Plan!

Your President Obama has announced that he wants his staff to come up with a plan to deal with ISIS. Rumor has it that there is already a plan in place. The reason it was never implemented was because it lacked President Obama's signature. In the meantime, President Obama's cracker jack security team will put their heads together and try to figure out what to do. With this group, it is easy predict that it won't be easy. You have a president who doesn't make critical decisions easily. He wasn't sure he wanted to go after Osama bin Laden and he stalled the efforts to free James Foley. He is always a little late to the dance. Your President Obama has taken steps to reassure ISIS that they have nothing to fear from America in the near future. Yesterday, he stood at the podium and announced that the United States did not have a strategy for dealing with them. ISIS members must have been dancing in the streets. It is hard to imagine any president making a statement such as this, but with this president nothing is off the table except for his ability to lead.

Come On In!

While we wait to see what President Obama will do, all sorts of people are crossing into our country. Some of them are U.S citizens who have valid passports and have joined ISIS forces in Syria and Iraq. If they want to come home and pay their momma a visit, they can come right in. The welcome mat is there to greet them. Perhaps it is time to rethink allowing them back in. This bug thinks it's way past time. The application of a little common sense can go a long way. Close the borders and scrutinize every single person trying to get in here from Iraq or Syria. Better yet, just arrest them! It's time to stop the politically correct nonsense and take a strong common sense approach to this complicated and dangerous world we live in.

The moment I wake up

Before I stretch my wings

I say a little prayer for you.....
