Our Resentful President Donald Trump

Updated on September 7, 2019
Trump arguing his case, LOL
Trump arguing his case, LOL

It is not hard to imagine

The most recent six day rant from President Trump shows the American people that their president is resentful against anyone, group of people, or entity, that disagrees with him. Trump loves a fight just for the fight even when he is dead wrong because he has to win at any cost.

I am talking about the stupid and petty "magic marker" markup of where the direction of Hurricane Dorian was headed. Trump said that it could cross the state and hit Alabama based upon weather reports. But when the official tracking then did not show it hitting Alabama, Trump drew and extended area on the tracking map to justify and prove his stupid point. Even in the most trite and mundane things, Trump cannot admit he was wrong, and this was in the media for six days because Trump kept raising the issue to prove he was right.

What a immature and petulant 71-year old punk he is. Even his staff was telling me just to let it go. This is just one of many examples of his narcissistic personality.

The 2020 Election

In the coming months, the 2020 election will heat up and probably far worse than 2016 in acrimony between candidates. If the polls are even remotely correct, Trump is going to lose as his politics are toxic for anyone outside of his base, which stagnates at 40%. In fact, Trump does not want to expand his base and feels he can win with his base.

Trump does not have a lot to brag about. Yes, the economy is his only point to brag about and he seems to know this. He also fears that should the trade war with China not give the dividends he thought it would and actually bring more problems to America, it could end any chance of re-election. All of the scandals, whether it is his treatment of women, collusion with Russia now (not in 2016), nullifying the EPA agency that protects our environment, ripping apart NATO, his racism, all cast a pale over himself as a person and the White House.

The Dark Side

There could be a time in 2020, when Trump begins to intentionally make bad decisions regarding American policies stemming from his personal resentment and vendetta. This would occur when Trump knows he is a one term president, whether from polls or just his gut intuition that he loves to brag about. He could cloak these bad policy decisions to cover his personal animus. In essence, it would be resentment towards the American voters and this is how he might have his retribution. He knows, if he loses, someone, or agency, will file criminal or civil lawsuits against him, as he will no longer have the immunity of the White House.

Trump could steer policies even more toward Russia to gain favor. Even now, he is thinking of stopping aid to the Ukraine and for what reason? The $250 million is a drop in the bucket to help a new democracy on Russia's border. It would be done to appease Putin, to gain favor for when Trump was again the CEO of Trump Enterprises. It would be to get his Trump Tower in Moscow. Trump could also invite Putin to the next G7 meeting, which would certainly be liked by Putin, but that is it.

Domestically, he could relax the EPA laws even further than the 83 he has already, making the agency gutted. He could remove restrictions of the development of natural resources now protected (due to their location in pristine areas) even more than he has.

Trump has shown us that he is a revengeful man. A person who retaliates and holds grudges from past perceived wrongdoing. What would Trump do should he target his own retribution (when he knows he cannot win) against the American voter?

Scary thoughts.

When it comes to Putin, I am sure Trump feels he can outfox him, which is plays right into Putin's plan.

Whoah.....I see why trump hates cnn. They really have his number. 5 sources have told them the Russian hacking and deza (dissinfo) was directly ordered by Putin, and Trump was in on it all along. (DUH).

So, when they met privately, and Trump had the notes ripped up,,,,.they were discussing this treason. Oh, it’s not treason, cause we’re not at war?

      Cyber war is war.

Installing a foreign asset as US President is war.

      Stealing our choice is war.

Gitmo is too good for them.....all of them. Lots of GOP. Did they really think they would get away with it?

      Good lord!

Wonder if they will ever get honest about why? White power, that’s what I think.

As long as white people can stay in charge, christianity is dominant, and women and people of color know their place, all is well.

If not, how else to explain it?

He’s not for middle class, he’s for wealthy.

      He’s ruined farmers.

Manufacturing coal mining.....they are NOT coming back. Why? Rich businessmen like him, that’s why.

      Ending abortion rights.....really?

Saying it’s ok not to serve gay people, kicking trans out of the military? Really? Going to war with Muslims for Bibi? Really ????

I think it’s because he hates people they hate. They hate Hillary, liberals, Muslims, Mexicans, Hondurans, poor people.

So “lock her up”, “send her back”, “build that wall”.....gives them a thrill.

And for sure, white supremacists are emboldened, after decades of hiding in secret,

If I’m wrong, how else to explain it?

Theres a lot of people leaving the party, too. Simply put, there is a limit that so many of the them can take. The hardcore base is still in there, however.

Oh how cute. Just like your savior eh? “Bleeding from her wherever”. Nope, I’m past that time. I’m into my wisdom years now. You should try it.

Of course, the real savior you claim does care about people...all people. And tells you not to judge. You know, like calling people liars.

You are more like Trump, that’s for sure. And that dude doesn’t know the first thing about the thing that keeps him there. (Evangelical ideology)

Religion has no place in government. And hatred of a sect of religion is not following the rules of your own game. “Love your neighbor as yourself”

I’m not feeling the love. Never have. In fact, just the opposite can be said.

And a global movement based on hate is doomed to failure.

It's proof of someone's dishonesty to say they care about people they've never heard of, never seen, don't know the names of, and never will.

But that's Leslie, and I suppose that is this Perya person too.

I'd say I was impressed by this profound dishonesty, but I'm not. It's pathetically common.

I've no clue what the rest of Ms McCowen's commentary is about. I'm certain it's just random ranting. The raving of one pulled by the tides and the moon cycle.

“Dutch politician Geert Wilders, the leader of the Netherlands’ Party of Freedom, a nationalist right-wing populist party with a platform of Islamophobia that called for banning the Koran and shuttering all of Holland’s mosques.

Wilders has called for shutting down all immigration to the Netherlands from Islamic countries in a direct echo of Donald Trump’s original attempted ban on travel from Muslim nations that was halted by courts that ruled the ban as unconstitutional”

Yes. Scary, but predictable. They don’t care what trump does....he can do no wrong. They do care what Obama and Hillary do. Even if trump does the same, he won’t get touched by a whisper of criticism.

They support Israel, and they have an ongoing brutal occupation of.....you guessed it, Muslims, so why should America care?

Israel offers abortion, and who knows if trumpers tax dollars pay for them.

They don’t care. Israel can do no wrong either, even if they do the same as American women, whom they decry as baby killers.

Like I said once before, unless you’ve encountered these people, you have NO idea what you're up against.

Honesty and intergeity have no part, so give that up. Low down and dirty is how they play. And the end justifies the means.

They are twisted beyond redemption. Imo

I'm expected to care about dead Muslims? Sorry, I don't have enough cares to go around that far. Islam is cancer. It's a hellish ideology of no value to western civilization.

So whatever goes on in the Islamic world with Muslims killing Muslims, I don't care. I don't have enough cares.

Did democrats care when Obama destroyed Libya, and thus, North African stability? Now there are black slaves for sale. Sold by Muslims. For about $450 you can buy one. Great job, Obama! YAY!

“I hated my government until Donald J. Trump was elected”

So, you understand how we feel about Trump. We liked our gvt until he came along.

At least the Obama part. I was not a fan of Bush, either.

What did Russia do? Hacked dnc and Hillary’s emails. That’s what. Cyber warfare, and you don’t care.

And how does bombing Yemen help the USA? How does giving our soy market to Russia help the USA?

Globalists? That’s the big corporations and banks, whom Trump just gave a huge tax break to. He’s international organized crime! How much more global can you get!

      LOL!

      1. I'll never vote for a democrat in my life. I actually like myself, and I actually like my nation, and so, voting for a democrat is completely against my view. It'll never happen.

      2. Are you some sort of racist against Russians? I find the democrat party's bigotry appalling. What did a Russian ever do to you?

      3. Thank God above for Donald Trump. Finally, after decades of traitor Presidents, we've got a man who's standing up to China on our behalf. God bless Donald Trump.

That is fine but when might this support end for you? When you see even closer ties to Russia? When American farmers despite the billions of bail out money to deter China actions that hurt, start to turn on Trump, as some have? How is opening up once pristine areas to development a good thing, when America is already energy self sufficient? Is there no red line that enough is enough of Trump?

I hated my government until Donald J. Trump was elected. I still don't love my government, but with Donald J. Trump in the White House, I know there is someone there who doesn't sell the people of my nation out to globalist interests.

I wake up every single day, and I thank God above we've finally got a President who's literally on the side of the United States citizen.
