OweBama's Words Back When...

Updated on April 6, 2012

The Pot Calls The Kettle Black Again

It's The Economy Stupid

This is the next part in my series of vetting Barack Hussein Obama for the 2012 elections. At this point in time I look around at the tactics that Obama is employing to deflect the American public, that would be divide and conquer, and wonder how many intelligent people are biting on those skinny bones he keeps tossing out of his bus window. He sold people the first time around on the "hope and change" brainwashing technique. Now it's reverted to the "rich are meanies" and clas warfare brainwashing technique as hope dwindles and many are hoping to change the diapers in the Whine House as soon as possible.

Back in 2008 Obama said a lot and promised more. The economy was on weak legs and people were weary. A young upstart, inexperienced Community Organizer came riding to the rescue with this quiver full of arrows and started shooting off his mouth about how he knew all the answers and would fix things for us and our heirs. He fixed things alright and now we're in a hell of a fix and our heir's future isn't the bowl of cherries he promised them. I'm "hoping" the young people of this nation can see the folly of their mistakes of going to the polls having been hypnotized by a con man.

Right now Obama wants everyone to look at everything but "the ball." The ball is the economy. We see the rising gas prices which aren't his fault of course. That's Bush's fault. We go to the grocery store and see less in the basket for the same amount of money and, of course, that isn't his fault either. We see our tax dollars being spent on his brand of capital cronyism, such as Solyndra, and that isn't his mess either "per se." The list could go on but I want to focus on something he said on the campaign trail on July 3rd of 2008 for this vetting session. Lets watch the video.

Unpatriotic? Who?

"Irresponsible" and "unpatriotic" is what he called it. It's right there for all to now see when before he was elected there was no record to see. You see, my fellow Americans, the reality is that this second time around Obama can't run on his record. It is dismal, especially regarding the increased national debt he has saddled us with. But according to him all his woes are the rich people's fault but let me remind you that he is in that category himself. His tactic now is to sow the seeds of discontent over the failed policies that he himself has planted. Now someone who is absolutely stupid and gullible might buy that rhetoric but the rest of us now have a record, or lack of it, to gauge the man by.

So if George W. Bush was "unpatriotic" and "irresponsible" for his excessive spending what does that make Obama. It sure doesn't put him in the category of a George Patton, Doglas MacArthur or Dwight D. Eisenhower now, does it? What it took 8 years for Bush to accomplish it has taken Obama less than three years to do by himself. You know "by his lonesome." But I reckon that will have to be Bush's fault too. His pointing that bonby finger at everyone for his own exacerbation of an already bad situation would be hysterical if it wasn't so utterly pathetic.

Going back and looking at every man, woman and child's share of the increasing national debt at the time he slung that mud should give your credit card a warm fuzzy to your backside. Back when he said that it was, according to Obama again, $30K per US citizen. It now sits at approaching $50K for every man, woman and child who is a citizen of this nation. That doesn't include his undocumented voters who don't have any skin in the game either. It means that the baby born just within the last few minutes you have been reading this enters the world with Obama's "Bank of China" credit card tattoed on their behind. Don't believe me? Take a look at the running national debt clock I posted at the link.

"The problem is" that since assuming office Obama has doubled down on using that "Bank of China" credit card he poo-pooed Bush using in that video and went on the largest excessive spending spree our nation has ever witnessed. But that isn't his money he is spending, it is our money he has been squandering like a drunken sailor on shore leave. No offense intended to you swabbies out there. "The problem is" is that Obama is one of the biggest hypocrites I have ever seen. That's one of the problems I have with him.

So he did it the way "Bush had done it for the past 8 years" and doubled down at the craps tables with our money. How irresponsible was that? How unpatriotic was doing that? I know. I know. It was all Bush's fault. He made Obama pull out that same "Bank of China" credit card and go wild with it.

Yes, President Obama, our heirs are now saddled with even more debt than the previous 43 Presidents accumulated and you are to blame for that and no one but you. "The problem is" that he wants to keep doubling down on every whimsical fix that he can conjure up.

All I can say is, "REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER." You don't listen to what Obama says, you watch what he does. Haven't some of you learned that lesson by now? I'm just asking...

The vetting of Obama will continue. He's on tape, video and sound now. It's the economy and the national debt Stupid.

As Always,

The Frog Prince

TIMETRAVELER - That video speaks for itself. He sid it and did the opposite, along the way calling people unpatriotic and irresponsible. FACTS are FACTS.

      Case closed.

The Frog Prince; Happy Easter to you as well. I do try to back my support of candidates with facts, just as you do. However, I do not rely on information from skewed News Programs or incorrectly documented photos for support. I don't doubt Obama made the comments you discussed, and I know he has been spending like crazy, but how can you ignore all of the good things he's done since he's been in office. Surely you've taken a look at these, too. If not, perhaps you should.

The way I look at things is that nobody is perfect. People, even Presidents, say and do stupid things. Look at some of the gaffs from Romney and Santorum! Haven't you ever said or done something that has come back to bite you? Granted, the President should be more careful, but when people run for office, most of them will say or do just about anything to get elected. It's easy to stand outside of a situation and criticize, but once you're actually on the job, it's a whole different ball game.

I liken this to people who criticize teachers. If you have never been in the classroom, you cannot possibly know what a difficult and stressful job it is. I have seen kids make grown men cry, and new teachers walk out the door after only one day. It looks easy from the outside, but when you're on the job and find out what's really going on, it's a whole other ball game.

I live in Florida and we had a big corporate guy buy the Governorship a few years back. He claimed he would turn the economy around, etc., etc. He has almost destroyed the state! Everybody hates him and he has the lowest rating of any Governor in the country. We are all praying that someone better will come along the next time, because nobody wants any more of this guy.

My point is that we can all sit here and bring up facts and figures that diss the guy who is in there fighting the good fight. However, there are just as many facts and figures that show he's been doing a good job in many ways.

Whatever happens in November will happen, and I will support whoever wins. Frankly, I like Romney a lot, but the fact that he is making the same kinds of statements as our current Florida Governor scares me to death. So, be careful what you wish for and maybe do a little more research that supports the positive side of things. You might surprise yourself!

If the Repubs really want to cinch the election, all they have to do is run continuously on TV the television clips of Obama's earlier speeches and promises with a short rejoinder at the end. They speak for themselves, Jim. Keep reminding everyone.

Unbelievable! I just can't understand how he is supported! Don't people see, hear, read, and THINK with their own brains?

Thanks, FP...I hope this is read by all the right people (or should I say left people) ;-)

TIMETRAVELER2 - Dispute anything up in the article with FACTS, not tons of this, that or the other. Obama said what he said back in July of 2008 and we see what he has done. That's the opposite of what he said. We now have his records on tape and video.

I will keep my right to dissent and so can you. But when I dissent I back it up with FACTS. We all aren't the President of the United States. Obama is a failure and I'll continue to put it out there backed up with FACTS.

      Have a Happy Easter.

There are tons of figures out there showing that all Presidents have increased the National Debt. It interested me to see that the video clip is from Fox News (clearly anti Obama) and the photo at the end shows him NOT saluting the your history. That photo was shot just after he lowered his hand. This kind of political rhetoric and inflammatory garbage is why people are so divided in this country.

I don't think Obama is perfect, but I think if you are going to discuss his Presidency, you should do it in an unbiased way. THAT's what I think of your 2008 video...we all say things, then time changes things and we have to respond the best way we know how. FYI: Obama saved this economy from going under. To me, THAT is BIG!

I like that roulette wheel. It needs a new picture in the middle though, with balloon words saying ‘it’s unpatriotic’.

What terrific insights! Bill Clinton called Obama a Chicago thug, he appears to be right. He seems like a typical political demagogue, wholly interested in power and willing to do and say anything to get it! The fact that he's loading future generations with debt tearing the country apart with class warfare doesn't seem to faze him a bit!

      I'm actually chuckling.

No, not at Obama per se. A train wreck is no laughing matter. But at you having found that video of Obama calling the addition of $4 trllion in debt unpatriotic--which it most certainly was. On that score, I, too, had problems with George W.

But they were miniscule problems compared to those generated by George's successor. Definitely, Remember in November!

The problem last term was who Obama was running against. Were you going to vote for the republicans and that rolling train wreck they tried to pass off? Sadly there are a boatload of morons who did. I think everyone knew voting for Obama was taking a chance but when our options are so limited what can we do? I say forget about the small picture your confronting here, let's deal with the real problem. Only rich jackasses can ever become president, I personally do not like rich people telling me what is best for me because they have no damn idea what its really like out here.

SO, that being said, how about we all turn our backs and refuse to vote? Force our government to change the system. You want to talk about devisivness? How about the senate spending the last four years being naysayers and spoiled children? Anything and everything Obama has tried to pass they contest out of spite. He has said to them many times during his speeches, "My door is always open. I understand if you disagree with my methods but instead of being a roadblock for the change this country needs, how abou we work together to find a solution."

Do they ever do that? Not. Got issues with how our money is spent? Then how about pointing out how government officials get pensions for life even if they served only a single term? All politicians! This is where all the money for social security went to, to give people who are already wealthy a f****** pension! Are you kidding me? The thing, kids, is that it isn't one person or party that is the problem, its the whole damn system. Time to burn this mother down!!!! Time to stop repeating the same old mistakes.

breakfastpop: You really think the only people who would vote for Obama are socialists or morons? Really? Shame on you for stereotyping the great majority of Americans who like this guy. Has it ever occurred to you that no matter which side you're on, people deserve to have their opinions respected?

Frog - we literally just returned from our daughter's wedding in Florida and I have been biting at the bit to write about the half-truths, dodging, and outright lies the President himself and Team O have been spewing JUST to get himself elected. You nailed so many logical arguments as to why this man CAN NOT be the President for another four years! Well done - as usual!

I feel owebamie (I like his name) is out the door as he has sold the "White House" all by his lonesome. The kids that voted for him 4 years ago are now college grads and have felt the pain of no jobs. They now believe us (the parents) that owebamie was the wrong choice. These now young adults are wiser so let's pray our "hope and change" will see him packing soon.

Oh, thanks for that reminder on the national debt statement, it is quite a joke now! I had a good chuckle over your "whine house" comment. The November election is not really holding any promise for a better future, but at least we can have a change of face to the political statements.

Frog, nailed it again. If we don't get rid of this POS, we have only ourselves to blame.

I'm very scared about November. It looks like a tossup between Obama and Romney, two jerks, admittedly the former worse than the latter.

If we don't get Ron Paul, we're sunk.
