Politician Matt Damon Avoids Taxes???

Updated on November 25, 2011

Matt Damon Violet's Father?

Just when you think it could not get worse in the USA? Matt Damon shows up in Washington DC!!

As if morality isn't low enough in this country with the debt ceiling not resolved, the actor, Matt Damon shows up in DC and starts lobbying for a political position. Never mind he has displayed exceptionally questionable business judgement when making the film "Stuck On You" which makes fun of disabled people or when he was a producer of the show Operation Green Light that didn't produce one successful film. But there are also quite questionable personal decisions Matt Damon has made in his life which call into question why anyone would think he would be fit for any leadership position. Let see where to begin? First he didn't finish his education which by definition makes him a quitter and quitters never win. I find it a little unpalatable that Matt Damon would lobby on educational issues given he hasn't bothered to finish his own education. Hypocrite.

Politicians pay dues. They work in there communities and build schools and serve in public capacities which Damon has not at all. With all of his money he hasn't built anything in the USA but has shipped his money to off shore banking schemes in order to avoid paying his income taxes. Oh and he has avoid taxes with his charity to put clean water wells in Africa. There are heavy administration fees associated with Damon's charities and very little gets done but hey as long as he can skip out on paying his fair federal income taxes, it is alright with him. Yeah, Matt Damon is a really good example to lead the country!!!

There are also questions regarding his affiliation with Scientologyand the death of a follower in a Clear water hotel which has all but been buried in the press. And another question plaguing Damon is that his "so called" best friend, Ben Affleck's, children look exactly like Matt Damon. Odd how Ben Affleck father's Jennifer Garner's children, and they come out looking like Matt Damon? Who do they think they are fooling but each other?

Matt Damon is forgetting one thing he is an actor who plays a hero but is not one. If anything he has avoid his taxes through off shore banking schemes, is in a cult which is responsible for the death of a member, has fathered children outside of his marriage with Jennifer Garner, has made fun of people with disabilities, has not completed college let alone been a leader within his community and is not willing to pay his taxes let alone his dues in life.

He just thinks he can bad mouth the president, show up at a rally in DC and get into office. Matt Damon needs to be able to distinguish his real life which is well less than sterling from the roles of heroes he plays. Besides putting wells in Africa in a charity again to avoid paying taxes Matt Damon has done absolutely nothing for the country for which he resides including paying his back taxes.

The real question for Matt Damon to ask himself is that if he is smart enough too quote Nietsche' than he should know good artists should never be confused for good human beings. So why has Damon so confused?

So sad, Matt Damon just can't accept he has had more money and success than most people in life and he use his considerable off shore bank accounts, Africa charity monies and his considerable financial empire to help those that have had less advantages than himself. Damon is rather excessive!!!

Yeah, Matt Damon does is something to be ashamed of. Second only to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. They are really bad selfish people. I feel really bad for their children and for our country. Good artists and good people should never be confused according to Matt Damon and Nietsche' and Damon has an Oscar!!

You are so right, I am so ashamed of Matt Damon!!!

This is one of the most ludicrous and insulting posts I have ever read. This hub defines what shames this country. Ridiculous.

If your not creating a fund to help keep us Gorillas in Bananas, I don't care how good an actor your. For us Gorillas it's all about Bananas and import taxes on Bananas. Stop taxing our Bananas and if you have all the Bananas you want or need, then send me any extras you may have.

Oh I forgot I'm not supposed talk to humans.

I think that actors, singers, entertainers, or any "Hollywood" types should heed what Elvis would say when asked his opinion of a political situation...."I'm just an entertainer.".....oh and, "Thank you very much".

All good questions and my point exactly. Good artist and good human beings should never be confused and unfortunatley Hollywood doesn't do anything to disprove Nietsche'.

Sadly, Hollywood takes themselves so seriously we just have to endure.

Why is it Hollywood believes they automatically belong Washington? Why do they never do something for there Country? How about a charity to help kids, elderly, homeless, something in the US. How about adopting kids here in the US? I know we have plenty to choose from. How can we take any of them serious?
