Pope Benedict looking for other three Miracles

Updated on October 7, 2012

Pope Benedict looking for other three Miracles

Following Friday’s miraculous drop in the unemployment rate from previous month’s 8.2% to 7.8% Pope Benedict announced in Friday’s Vatican address to the Catholic nation he is looking for 3 additional corroboratory miracles to start Barrack Obama’s bid for Saint Hood. For those of you reading this that are not Roman Catholic it takes four confirmed miracles in order to canonize an individual thus proclaiming them a saint.

The Pope went on to say after 44 straight months of unemployment above 8% somehow, despite all the economic indicators to the contrary the rate fell an incredible 4 percentage points to a new low of 7.8%. According to Pope Benedict only divine intervention could account for such a drop. Incredible as it may seem just 4 hours earlier, the Associated Press had released a headline reading “In wake of debate, weak job numbers expected. Weak job numbers expected just 4 hours prior to the release and then miraculously the number 7.8% appears! That same AP article predicted the unemployment numbers would tick up slightly thus they were looking for a figure around 8.3%.

Additional corroborative evidence to substantiate the Canonization proceedings is the month to month job creation numbers. A comparative analysis reveals during the month of July, 181,000 new jobs were created which resulted in an 8.2% unemployment figure; during the month of August that number fell to 142,000 new jobs created and the unemployment rate remained at 8.2% then in September 114,000 new jobs were created which dramatically reduced the unemployment rate to 7.8%. I have never been aware of any economist, since graduating from college with an Economics Degree, teaching a reciprocal relationship between jobs created and the unemployment rate. This truly stands the science of economics on its’ head and thus the Pope proclaims it can only be the result of Devine Intervention!

Unfortunately we all know including the Pope this is just another trick by the Regime to win reelection. Mark Twain once said, “there are lies, damn lies and statistics.” On another front that other great modern day socialists Joseph Stalin said, “it’s not the votes that count; it’s who counts the votes. Well as information the vote counter in this case is the Bureau of Labor Statistics of which 2 of it’s leading economists are big Obama contributors. Beginning to see a pattern here?

So, unlike the Nobel Peace Prize Committee which rushed to judgment and undeservingly awarded the prize to the leader of this Regime; maybe the Pope should reconsider canonization because it appears his first miracle is just another case of smoke and mirrors!

If anyone believes these latest manifestations of smoke and mirrors job creation then they must have hung too long in the "Chum Gang" with Obama. Secretary Solis is taking the American public to be chumps. Some of you are and some of you know BS when you hear it. Supposedly 873K jobs were created in September. If you actually believe that you are about as stupid as they come. Imaginary jobs - yes. Phantom jobs - yes. But those don't put food on the table and get people off of food stamps and the other freebies.

If you want the real numbers look at the U-6 figures. I know liberals are scratching their heads about "Wassat?" Google them and take a real look.

True but will the msm effectively shield them from the voting public?

The numbers are bogus and so is Obama. The true numbers are already starting to surface.

Pool Guy; I would have made the same bet you did; seems your friend is Naive (politically speaking of course) or just doesn’t understand this Regime. Like I quoted good old Joe Stalin; “It’s not the vote that counts; it’s who counts the vote”. Well in this case Obama’s pals on the Bureau of Labor Statics did the counting.

May I suggest Ruth Chris for your steak dinner; enjoy

PP - Many months ago, I bet a friend the unemployment number the month before the election would be below 8%. He works with numbers for a living and unfortunately used logic to choose his side of the bet. At the time we made the bet he stated there was no way things could improve quickly enough to get below 8% unemployment.

In picking my side of the bet, I used knowledge of the threats and intimidation that exists in government today. There was no way this number would not be below 8% when we look at who would benefit from a low number.

This will be the best free steak dinner I have ever eaten.

Thanks Old Pool Guy; the real number is 14%; arrived at by calculating the unemployed and the under employed.

As for the Regime getting the number they wanted; looks like they applied the same tactic to the Bureau of Labor Statistics calculators they did to Boeing in order to strong arm Boeing into not sending out the lay off notices........

PP - Excellent job as always. These unemployment numbers have always fallen in the "Mystery Number" category. It depends on the situation and who is telling the story. Obviously, this administration was looking for a really low number this month before the election, and they got it. By changing the numbers used to calculate the final percentage, they can back into the desired result. Add a few new jobs, subtract a few unemployed, and voila, there is the number the were looking for.

I almost feel sorry for the person responsible for issuing this number. They were given their marching orders to make the number less than 8%, and had to comply to keep their jobs. We will most likely never know the true unemployment number.
