President Trump's Incredibly Bad Credibilty

Updated on May 13, 2017

The past 100 days of the Trump presidency has shown many things but most of it has been bad. President Trump acts like a King instead of a president many times. He uses bully tactics to scare and enforce what he wants. A trait left over from his CEO days of the Trump organization. He truly is just a ugly person and acts as a petulant child when he gets his way. He does not want to act presidential.

The polls show America is very divided with 78% of Republicans still supporting him as if they are all in a zombie-like state. All this while, the same percentage of Democrats simply have no respect for the man and treat him in that manner. The Democrats, too, are in a zombie-like state but in a revengeful way. No wonder Trump is a chump and totally frustrated with the handling of many things, the most recent being FBI Comey firing.

There are so many things not to like about this presidency. Putting his family within the White House is nepotism beyond belief. His daughter and her husband are in the inner circle as trusted advisers because Trump is paranoid of who is and is not loyal to him. He asked FBI Comey for loyalty and when Comey refused but did agree to be honest, Trump fires him just before the Russia investigation was deepening. Trump has flip-flopped so many times since his campaign and has only kept a few of his promises made then. This president tweets out threats to those who challenge him and makes crass comments about those as well.

Honestly, can you believe everything he states? I cannot help think he is not telling the public many things intentionally. He is a great bullshitter, like a car salesman, will tell you anything you want to hear to get what he wants.

The Trump supporters are betting all their dreams on hope, a false hope, that because Trump was a wealthy real estate CEO in the past, he truly can make America great again. Trump may be able to a few great things but, if the trend continues, most of his presidency will be a disaster in one form or another. Americans are already sick of his crass personality that may work well in the private sector but not in the U.S. government. In the end, his presidency will be one of controversy after another stalling any progress.

I had a very negative opinion of Trump before his Presidency. I never read any of his books, watched his Reality show or paid much attention to him unless he was in the spotlight for some reason. I was disgusted by him when he had the ridiculous back & forth with Rosie O'Donnel (whom I also dislike intensely) & thought his insistence on the Obama birther situation was outrageous.

Currently he is not by any stretch, one of my favorite people, but he holds the position and what matters to me is that he's NOT Hillary. No one and I mean, NO ONE could ever be as corrupt, deceitful, dishonest, phony and immoral as that woman. Short of the devil himself, I'd have voted for anyone who happen to run against that deplorable woman

Trump lies? Should this shock America? Being a liar is a qualification to run for office. Of the hundreds of thousands of politicians, please name one who has ever been honest. Take your time, it could take the rest of your life.

I hear you completely, but Clinton would not be any better, IMO.

In my church we are told to pray for our leaders that they might act righteously and be receptive to inspiration, have health and strength, etc.

If anyone reading this believes in effective prayers, the "more the merrier" may apply.

Perrya: I share your frustration. I also think that instead of people trying to debate who would be better or worse than whom, we have to work towards the changes that we would want to see in this government of ours. If there is not enough active participation by the citizens, we won't be able to change things. I appreciate your work on Hubpages and hope you can continue to write well into the future. Good luck!

I wonder what kind of president Pence would be. At least, he knows about politics.

I suspect the time to look for Trump's weaknesses would be to examine the times he was in financial trouble in New York City. His current behavior remains suspect, but (if it is more than just suspect) any sources of a "bail out" would be a great place to start.
