Protest: Women's March, LA, 2018
But still, she persisted...
This year I was pleased to take my daughter to the Women's March in Los Angeles. It was great to see so many generations of different families represented. Women, men, children, and pets.
- We marched for civility.
- We marched for change.
- We Marched for decency.
Some came to be a part of a movement. Others came to express their pain. All were unified for one cause and that is the return of America to ALL OF HER PEOPLE. We will not be silent while our government is being used for financial gain.
The only goal is to make America what she is supposed to be. To do that, we need to get rid of a government that does not care about normal citizens. A government that discriminates based on race and a government that separates us.
VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!
When the midterms come, we will be just as united at the polls. 45 must go and we are the instrument of removal. So, make sure that you send him a clear message in November and vote. Let them know that we will not stand for racism, misogyny, or hate. Let them know that we want our country back and we are coming for it.
