Race, Gender, Sexuality and Religion.

Updated on May 18, 2017

Spread Love Not Hate.

Race,Gender, Sex and Religion. Who would have thought that only four words we use in our everyday lives could cause so much hate and carnage?

Race, the color of ones skin. Gender, male or female. Sexuality, the preference of ones love and affection. Religion, what one soul believes in.

You would think that everybody would just, be happy, no matter what choices another makes. What does it matter if your son is gay? Does he not have the right to be happy with who he is? What does it matter if your daughter is dating someone from another race? Can she not love someone with all her heart?

Everyday bad words or even worse death, is thrown around everyday, just because somebody is a little different then they are, a little more unique. People cannot seem to accept the fact that many don't believe in what they do, many don't care about another persons color of skin or what they believe in, they only care how they are as a person.

That is what it should all be about. It should be about how one acts and how they treat one another, how they make the world a little better or how they help those in need. Not the color of ones skin, not the gender they like, not even what they believe in.

Not everyone of the same color acts the same, nor those who have a different sexuality or body parts. Everyone acts a little differently.

Can't everyone just enjoy one another's company?

I have a saying I like to share with others, Respect me and I will respect you. I do not care what your color of skin is, what gender you are or what gender you prefer, I do not care if you don't believe in the things that I do or if you talk differently then me. It is called the golden my friends, treat others how you want to be treated, they teach that kinda stuff in elementary school.

I can't understand the hate some people get just because they are a little different, I feel terrible when I hear that some people hide what they truly are just because they feel they might be discriminated against or even despised for letting the truth come out.

I believe some people are just brought up to hate, they despise things because they were told to or they were influenced by it. But to be honest I do not really know. But the matter at hand still remains, men and women are dying in the streets over their differences. Two races are at war because either one feels like they have been hurt in some way, two genders fighting each other because one feels like they aren't treated as equals.

I wish some people would follow that golden rule.

Countries have been at war due to the different religions and races, innocent people being killed over something so trivial. Corpses line the sidewalks as machines of death and destruction drive down the roads in search for more humans.

That is what we are really, we are all humans part of the same human race. We have been born on the same planet, some maybe with others ways to live their lives and some not but in the end we are all human. All denizens of the planet Earth, inside we all have hearts and souls and when injured we bleed.

Gays bleed, white men bleed, Buddhists bleed, all of us bleed when hurt. The fact that some say that just because someone is different they are not human or flawed is ridiculous, we all are human.

Embrace that thought.

Paula, I don't have to convince anyone of a truth that is plain to see. Anyone who dares to look can see it. And in answer to your rhetorical question: You have the right to choose your own pursuits. For many years I enjoyed being a womanizer. My good looks, intelligence, and musical talent made it quite easy. But there came a point in my life where I realized that I had become enslaved by my own libido, and so I made changes in my life. To my surprise, I have found that helping people is far more rewarding.

The war in Syria is a proxy war. Just like in Iraq and Libya, the U.S. government is attempting regime change in Syria. What's crazy about this is that the Imperialist agenda of the United States has been well known since before 1776, and certainly after WWI there could be no doubt that perpetual war has been the goal of the U.S. government. Much of the weaponry and ammunition being used in the Middles East is manufactured here in the United States. Yes, people have become filthy rich through the killing of children! To call this an outrage would be a gross understatement.

Since May of 2015 the United States has sold $33 billion worth of weapons to its Gulf allies. This is no secret. It is also no secret that Al-Qaeda and the ISIS have been funded and in many respects created by the U.S. government. General William Odom, the director of the National Security Agency under Ronald Reagan, has been quoted: "... by any measure the U.S. has long used terrorism. In 1978-79 the Senate was trying to pass a law against international terrorism – in every version they produced, the lawyers said the U.S. would be in violation.”

Now let us consider Smedley Darlington Butler who was a Marine Major General. At the time of his death he was the most decorated Marine in U.S. history. In 1935, Butler wrote a book entitled "War Is a Racket". In his book he was highly critical of the United States government, and described the workings of the United States in its foreign actions and wars, including the American corporations and other imperialist motivations behind them. There is an abundance of information that supports my assertions. And when we go back to 1492 and then move forward through the historical record, we see a familiar pattern of Imperialist aggression and Colonialism that began with the European aristocracy, and which has continued unto the present.

But I do not need to rely solely on the historical record to verify the aggressive and violent nature of the prevailing system. My father was a WWII veteran. However, my parents had to arm themselves with a rifle and a shotgun, and had several "shootouts" with white racists who sought to intimidate and remove them from the 200 acre farm they purchased in the late 1950's. Local law enforcement made no attempt to investigate or to stop those who were involved in the threats and intimidation. And that is just one example of what I and my family experienced.

I have responded to your commentary because you have made an attempt to be civil. But as you can see, some people become very angry and hateful when the truth is revealed. But I am nothing but the truth, and so I do not expect the world to welcome me with open arms. Unless I am in the mood for sport, I do not respond to the vitriol of my subordinates. The article written here bemoans mans inhumanity to man. I have provided a solution. Education is the key. It is only through education that the problem can be identified and then either eradicated or quarantined. It's not a matter of rocket science, but simply a matter of putting one foot in front of the other.

"I will not get "crazy" with you" !

That statement is more accurate than you think. No doubt what makes him crazy is a combination of psychotropic drugs, that much is obvious. If you have ever had to deal with people on these drugs you'd recognize it immediately. Common among rockers.

Ronnie....The people of Syria suffer so egregiously because of their own leaders~~due to the evil, murdering dictators who continually oppress, starve, maim and murder their own. While these morally bankrupt rulers, who see and treat their citizens worse than the dirt under their feet, live in pure luxury, the people have nothing, nothing at all to barely survive.

HOW do you point to our government to blame for what has been going on in Syria since forever?

Are you trying to convince someone they have no right to a decent life or freedom or happiness while a Syrian father must bury his children, slain by Assaad's orders to his military? Were I a person of power and control, this carnage & suffering would simply not be. If I ruled a country, all Dads & Moms would be at their child's baseball game, healthy & enjoying their lives.....going to their homes where they are safe and together.

What can or must we do for the oppressed & abused Syrians but be murdered alongside them? and why? You're really not making any sense to me. You connect this father's dead child to American capitalists? You suggest your happiness is of little comfort to the war-weary Syrians? Do you believe that America is responsible for the outrageous treatment of the people of foreign countries whose leaders are having them tortured, murdered and thrown to rot into the land?

This is what you attempt to tell me? Ronnie, in this case, I have nothing further to say and certainly a discussion is out of the question. I will not get "crazy" with you. I do not share your mind set. I can't even make any sense of it nor understand your outrageous commentary. ( Wait! Save it Ronnie~~I imagine you telling me I don't understand because I do not possess your genius. Not so but I need not prove my level of intelligence to anyone)

"I am certain there are women here online who would benefit greatly from my experience, my attributes, and my deeper understanding of human sexuality. I am simply doing what I was designed to do." Ronnie, really?? Me thinks you may be "designed" by delusion & perhaps Tony has hit the nail on the head?...I would sooner believe that than to accept you could make these claims in all seriousness and sobriety..........I give up. I'm off to bed. Seems like you should be too! Give it rest, Ronnie. God Bless you.

There you have it Paula. His own expression of obvious delusions, that's what drugs do to the mind. The question to ask isn't why he's like this but what drugs does he take and how often. He's so deluded he has never denied my accusations that he uses drugs because he believes there is nothing wrong with it, in his mind it can't be the source of his delusions because the drugs have deluded him into believing his delusions.

Paula, I like civilized women, and so I will respond to your wonderful commentary.

The fact that many question, and even ridicule any authority not propped up and sanctioned by the government, or the popular media,(essentially one and the same) is an indication of low self-esteem. Those who suffer from this condition feel that they are not important enough to ever know or converse with an authority. In their mind, such authorities are the people who they can only read about, or see on the television. As a result, they are quick to dismiss anyone who has not been properly labeled by the system.

Love, happiness, and human sexuality amount to nothing more than trivial pursuits in light of what is happening all around us, 24/7, 365 days a year. And that includes since before we were born, after we are dead, and every moment of our brief lifetime. My happiness is of little comfort to the father in Syria who is today picking up pieces of his daughter. While millions of Americans are engaged in the "pursuit of happiness", millions more are suffering around the world as a result of Capitalism, and the Imperialist ambitions of the United States government; sinister ambitions that are being funded by the tax dollars of the Shiny Happy People who spend their time in church, at the disco, at the shopping mall, at the beach, and at the Superbowl.

You suggest that I have been scared and twisted. That is a laughable conclusion considering I am a very positive individual. In order to do what I do, a positive and optimistic outlook is essential. Except for the white racist element which was quite pervasive in the farm community where I grew up, I had a very happy childhood and a wonderful family. My parents were Civil Rights activists, and they often took me to the library on the weekends. At the library I could explore various metaphysical works,Indigenous history, and the works of great men like W.E.B. Du Bois and Henry David Thoreau. This is how I learned the difference between good and evil; love and hate. Goodness provides peace and tranquility, and encourages a child to learn and explore. What I was afforded as a child must become the birthright of every child that is born in this Earth. What kind of a man would I be to have experienced such good fortune, only to spend the rest of my life in the pursuit of my own selfish desires? At best, that would put me on par with a heroin addict. At the the very worst, it would make me responsible for the murder of innocent men, women, and children. Apathy is just as evil, and just as lethal as violent aggression.

Concerning your "monkey business", you can believe what you wish, as it does not affect my standing, nor my claim. It should be clear by now that I am not looking for followers or trying to make friends, although I am certain there are women here online who would benefit greatly from my experience, my attributes, and my deeper understanding of human sexuality. I am simply doing what I was designed to do. And yes, in case you were wondering, I whistle while I work.

Hmmm "Why you are so dark, dreary and dreadful in your thoughts & words, is frankly, more than a tad spine-tingling. Whatever it is or was in your existence that has scarred and twisted your psyche so...

I'll tell you exactly why Paula. Drugs, that is what twists a psyche into what his is. And he has never denied it.

Ronnie.....I wonder how seriously you worry your Mama or any of those who love you. In all the years I have read you, it's so clearly visible you are a dark & cynical~ terribly jaded individual. Your comments & messages are void of any hope, happiness or positive thoughts, regardless of topic. Your disdain for our country, we humans who inhabit it and your insistence to paint such horrid & wretched pictures of past, current and future life is glaringly disturbing.

You seem only to be thrilled and boastful about "Ronnie," as you claim your masterful brilliance of Universal knowledge and your outrageous attractiveness & ....Of course your fiery sexuality that magnetizes ladies to your feet to worship. Such a healthy ego, young man. Congratulations?

Why you are so dark, dreary and dreadful in your thoughts & words, is frankly, more than a tad spine-tingling. Whatever it is or was in your existence that has scarred and twisted your psyche so, you have my sympathy. We've all walked a path of fright, danger, sadness and paranoia at some point. It needn't burrow it's way into your very core to be carried until death. I see you believe otherwise and for that I'm sorry as well.

There is just one thing I'd like to point out to you. You have said, "I maintain here and now, perhaps for the first time in the history of the world that the energy of human thought, can also affect the material world." ...........

Surely Ronnie, a man of your vast knowledge must know of the "Hundredth Monkey Effect/Theory," discovered and divulged to the world many years ago? This is not your own personal epiphany. Sorry Ronnie. Back to the drawing board ....

(Thomas, I apologize for needing to delete.....but my comment posted twice!)

Well my friends you have now heard from Hub Pages' eugenicist, Ronnie, (the Margaret Sanger of Hub Pages).

Anyone who bases his beliefs about race and violence or inhumanity on a Wikipedia map of major battles is smoking something for sure! "Historian Ellen Leslie told the BBC: “It can be edited by anyone. I understand mapping all the battles in history is a massive project, but surely it would be better to contact historians and experts to gather this kind of information reliably.”

I really would like to know just what it is Ronnie is smoking. Or is it that "some varieties of people are apparently more prone" to insanity than others?

Thomas, there is your example of why people would not follow that golden rule. Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade.

    • wrenchBiscuit profile image

That is an easy question to answer. There are certain varieties of human beings. Although there is not one race of people that has a monopoly on violence and inhumanity, some varieties are apparently more prone to violence than others. Once the violent varieties are subdued or eliminated, there will be peace throughout the world.

Here I have provided this interactive map that indicates the bloodiest parts of the world based on the historical record. You will notice when observing the map that there has been a major concentration of violence in Europa. You will also notice a concentration of violence in the United States, and it is no coincidence that the United States was was also founded by Europeans. That foundation was laid through the brutal genocide of my Indigenous ancestors as well as the enslavement of Africans.

But be of good cheer!. Many mistakenly believe that human "thought" and human "action" are two different things, but the truth is that they are one and the same. Thought "is" action. Although one man cannot push a car up a hill, 20, 30, or 50 men could easily do so. Likewise, collective human thought can also affect the material world. It has often been said that the pen is mightier than the sword. I maintain here and now, perhaps for the first time in the history of the world, that the energy of human thought is mightier than them all. Mental energy properly projected and maintained can positively influence the material world without moving a muscle. Those who understand the concept are already busy at work. World governments and conventional weaponry are powerless against such an impending force. The United States and other evil world governments stand a better chance of stopping a hundred comets racing toward the Earth than preventing what now looms on the horizon.

Thomas....It seems you have spent some time "deep thinking" and have emerged with many questions. Your questions are all of human beings and human nature~~the ways in which we think, behave, love and interact. You focus on wishing to know why and offering your own thoughts in terms of the pain and sadness we cause ourselves and one another. It's wonderful you have this awareness and need to know. I suspect a vast number of people have this same method of contemplation.

I certainly have my moments spent in a sort of meditation when I hide away for some silence & solitude. However......I'm afraid I have much different perceptions, as well as curiosities from those you entertain. Perhaps our differences are due to many things. We are the opposite sex and I get the sense our generations are decades apart. So too, our backgrounds, upbringing and education can easily have few similarities.

Could some or any of those differences we have, be cause for us to clash~or perhaps might it be just the opposite and lead us to hit it off quite well? I really get where you're coming from. I also appreciate how you claim to have an easy-going, accepting nature in terms of dealing with these differences. I fit that description to the letter. It truly does not matter to me what race or ethnicity an individual originates from or that their culture may be strange for me to understand. Their belief system, faith or lack thereof, has little if any affect upon how I see them. And I can assure you, unless the information is volunteered, It does not occur to me to question someone's sexuality.

You ask the age-old universal question, Thomas...."Can't we all just get along?" It's a fervent cry and at this point in time, a futile one as well. I know it, you know it and if we take notice, most of the world knows it. In fact Thomas, crazy as it is, many prefer we not get along. There is no Utopia. A world of Peace is a fantasy world of dreams, wishes & magic. This is not to say by any means that we cannot hope, try and maintain this desire. Stay as you are Thomas and spread your beliefs. Who knows? ALL things are possible.

There was a time, many years ago that my thoughts were more like yours. I must admit, as we age and walk through the various experiences in life, without meaning to, Thomas, we become somewhat cynical. This happens when we come face to face with reality, repeatedly. My journey and my work is not yet done. Peace, Paula
