Redicare: Only The Senate Can Save Americans Now

Updated on November 12, 2009

In a recent interview, Obama refused to state categorically that failure to pay into his Redicare plan would result in imprisonment. He would only go as far as discussing serious penalties. It's obvious that Obama had better start jailing dissidents, as it's about the only standard act of all Marxist / Communist / Socialist totalitarian regimes he hasn't quite implemented yet.

After all, Redicare calls for the government to have unfettered access to the bank accounts of every single man, woman, and child in the United States of America, so it's not exactly likely that you'll be able to not pay a fine. They'll just go into your account and debit you. Thank you very much, have a nice day.

The government might as well take your money, as somebody has to pay for this trillion dollar expenditure and it certainly isn't going to be the government as it's already more than $10 trillion dollars in debt to foreign nations. Isn't it great to know that wonderful nations like China not only provide us with sulphuric gas drywall and poisoned pet food, but also holds an outrageous amount of our debt?

Let's take a closer look at the Workers' Paradise Health Care Plan, also known as Redicare:

The current medical insurance held by many millions of Americans will be lost. Research from various research firms, think tanks, and even the government itself show that current forms of employer sponsored health plans will simply cease to exist in the face of a health care plan which is run by the government and which has just passed the House.

Even if you do get to keep your current health care insurance, the new federal benefit standards will scramble every single aspect of that coverage with plan upgrades which will drastically spike premiums.

As is the case with all Marxist / Communist / Socialist planning, policies are always intended to eviscerate the private sector. And also true to form, the government exempts itself from adhering to the laws they have just passed. Just as in the former Iron Curtain countries people would have to line up for hours to buy soap or milk, the Politburo members would be whisked around town in limousines going from one palatial estate to another. Totalitarian governments always make a set of laws for the people and a very special set of very privileged laws for themselves. Isn't it great to see that Americans can now experience the joys that Soviet citizens experienced for all those years?

This situation is very clear: Anyone who has ploughed through the 1,000 + pages of the Redicare bill and doesn't clearly see that it is specifically intended to eliminate the very existence of the private providers of medical insurance, obviously can't read. This is Marxism in its purest form.

The theory of Communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property. - Karl Marx

However, this is an issue which goes well beyond insurance plans. Redicare specifically states that the government, not your physician, will determine what your care will entail and what medications you will be allowed to have. If your physician prescribes a brand name medication but a bureaucrat determines that the generic is good enough, you'll get the generic. You and your physician can complain and you will still get the generic. If the government denies a medical procedure there is no appeals process. If they say no, it's no. If you have a cancerous tumor which is eating you up from the inside and Washington says you're not going to have surgery, that's the end of the conversation... and likely also the end of your life. Therefore, your health and your very continued existence is no longer in the hands of your trusted family physician, but some desk jockey in D.C.

After all, it was Obama himself who when asked about an elderly woman who needed a pacemaker stated "Maybe you're better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller."

I guess all Americans better get used to taking aspirin when surgery is called for. As it's just about all that the government rationing of health care is going to provide.

God save America... I doubt even the Senate can at this point!

If you check some of my other Obama Marxist hubs you'll see quotes from Putin himself warning Obama off this course. The world has turned on its head. I honestly never thought I'd live to see this... :(

Hey and get this, just a few days ago the president of Russia makes a speech where he outlines his vision for a Russia where companies are not state run and where citizens have more freedoms and as a result more responsibilities. "I hope you understand that," says the president to people who still don't know what true freedom is. Who could have imagined even ten years ago that the president of RUSSIA, of all places, would come out and say this, while the president of the United States puts all his effort into converting our country into a backwards communist state! Granted, Medvedev probably doesn't have the power to enact the reforms he envisions in Russia, but this is the freakin' president of Russia who believes more in personal freedom than the freakin' president of the United States. It's just absolutely ridiculous.

Thanks as always for the kind words eovery. I had the privilege and honor of living in the United States for nearly twenty years of my life. And although I am not blind to the problems inherent in American society, I have to state categorically that even though I appreciate and love Canada and its people, the United States of America is the greatest nation that the world has ever witnessed, and the American people overall are the finest example of humanity on this planet. I would, without hesitation, lay down my life to defend the values which are embodied in the spirit of America... I'm not so sure I'd do that for Canada!
