Our Beliefs Are Our Own

Updated on November 8, 2013
To each their own
To each their own
We are all in this life together.
We are all in this life together.
Tomorrow is a new day.
Tomorrow is a new day.
May God bless us all.
May God bless us all.

One world, with its many beliefs, and all of a special choice,

all reflect in strength and resolve, that of each unique voice.

In India, Asia, and African climes, faithful followers do sing,

A joy, a happiness. and to endure, this to all it does bring.

Europe and North America, grand, and far away, all lands,

Celebrate, praise, in a chosen faith, as their worship stands.

Without a wrongful complaint, or chastising of a single one,

All should allow freedoms to endure, under a warming sun.

Scriptures and written texts abound, each has a special need,

The people select the best for them, for their life to succeed.

An inspiration of a benevolent god, and by their hand, record,

A joining of souls and cultures alike, their languages do afford.

All are brothers and have the same needs, all have lives to live,

Each sister and child, babies so mild, all have much love to give.

What we believe, meant to conceive, is shared by one and all,

It's a testament, a faith in spirit, no matter how great or how small.

This is beautiful! It echoes that which is the best among all cultures, and throughout humanity. Voted up and beyond. :-)

I love this whonu. We all have our beliefs and morals that are right for us. That should be respected and honored.

This is very much the goal in worship and belief.

Perfectly said. I agree with this, and it sure put a smile on my face. It is nice to know that there is tolerance in this world. It is as it should be.

Follow with your heart and mind. We all have a right to worship as we choose. Those who infringe on our rights must live with themselves and their choices. whonu

In these days of such strife and division, especially concerning religious beliefs, I feel the need to share this work again. whonu
