Sanctity Vs. Sanctuary; Free Markets Vs Socialism

Ignore the in-my-face obvious issues and lend all of my attention to unwarranted, groundless non-issues? Not happening!

Source

Donald Trump has officially thrown his red MAGA hat into the ring...

The Dems have been at it for a while now, well, as we know, they've never really stopped, "being at it", since Hillary's big loss. But, a field of twenty-ish or so have been out campaigning, interviewing, participating in town halls, etc., all with their sites on the Presidency.

Although President Trump has been holding rallies in various cities, pretty much since becoming President, he has now made it ‘official’, by throwing his hat into the ring. He announced last night at a big event in a mega venue, in my neck of the woods, Orlando, FL., he will be running for a second term.

It was electric from what I could tell and from what I've heard from friends that fought the traffic and the crowds, in order to make their way inside. They had a blast!

The President was on point, on message and on fire!

If I were to pick one thing that I truly love about this man, it's that there is no gray area with him. We know he adores this Country, we clearly understand his vision and what he is working toward.

He is unlike politicians, because he is not a politician. He doesn't beat around the bush, he cuts to the chase and I, for one, love that!

Sanctity or Sanctuary?

The border issue is finally being dealt with, no doubt about it.

I.C.E. is in the process of seeing many uninvited immigrants, to the door and out the door!

The wall is coming along nicely and more border patrol agents have been added.

Many States, including mine....thank you Governor DeSantis, now have laws in place, eliminating any chance of our cities becoming sanctuary cities.

I thank God for his strong leadership and then I thank God again... that we do not have to contend with an individual such as Bill DeBlasio in New York. He recently attempted to make the case for giving criminal-entry illegals a driver's license, I guess that's probably a done deal now. What is he thinking? Do these people ever think about the repercussions, such as how do the law-abiding citizens of New York City, feel about this? How do they feel about double standards, one set of rules and laws for one group and another set for another?

Laws, like life these days, are meant for some, but not for all...

We aren't having to deal with a Gavin Newsome-type, seemingly wanting to give law-breakers a license; along with a car, a house and a set-up for life, in a California sanctuary city....all while their homeless situation is out of control....alrighty then, that makes perfect sense....(she wrote while shaking her head!)

While Dems focus on sanctuary, our President focuses on the safety of American citizens and he focuses on the sanctity of life!

He is equally as repulsed, as is most of America, when States, such as; Vermont, California, Illinois, Virginia, New York....speak of finishing off a baby which has survived an attempted abortion, as if they are speaking about gutting a fish. They've placed no value whatsoever on human life, they've no problem with third trimester abortions. I am often at a loss for words, when I start thinking about what is really taking place; it's not the movies, it's not make-believe, it's happening here in the United Sates of America and it disturbs me far more than I can ever adequately describe.

I am so grateful that our President and our Vice-President have a conscience and a 'heart and a soul'.....because apparently in the year 2019, many human beings, no longer do!

Free-Market vs. Socialism

Last night, President Trump boasted about our strong economy and so he should, it is charged and industry is ignited. Manufacturing has come back, after our former President, Barack Obama, told us, manufacturing was gone, not coming back, we needed to accept it. We were to "accept" a stagnant economy as the new normal. What a negative man, what did America see in him?

No wonder Americans were so excited about Donald Trump.

Who says we must accept it?

Who says our best days are behind us?

Who says we must accept defeat?

Certainly not, Donald J. Trump!

I get it now, I didn't early on, I wasn't sure if he was all talk, no action, but those days are long gone for me.

But, if you listen to a Democratic contender, they are all about the big government give-away and hand-outs, they have no confidence in the citizens of this Country, if they did, they'd not continually attempt to outdo each other with the, "we'll do this and we’ll do that, we’ll provide that and we’ll provide this, we will take care of it and we will see you through....."

How could they have any faith or give any credit to future entrepreneurs, when they are continually telling us all, all they are going to do for us?

Democrats think that you nor I are capable of doing life...without them and that's the bottom line, that's what keeps them going and keeps them running for office over and over again....

"Don't pay any attention to Venezuela, things will be different here", that's all they have to offer; bribes and promises. Every single word out of their mouths, goes against our founding and threatens our Bill of Rights, written to protect us... from the likes of them!

Everything they say, with each new promise of yet another giveaway, builds up the Government and tears down the individual!

President Trump says we will never be a Socialist Nation, that's another reason for me to say, Trump-Pence 2020 - Keep America Great!

~ God Bless America ~

In complete and total contrast to everything President Trump spoke of in his campaign kick-off, we have had the Dems, the last two nights....

In a nutshell, if they have their way, you and I will be taxed into oblivion.

To the Dems, you and I, the U.S. citizen, are only a tool/a means to FUND their goal and step one of their goal, is to takeover healthcare. They’ll have more control over our lives, than at anytime in our history.

While they are taking from us and using us, to fund this goal of theirs, they are vowing to decriminalize illegal entry, so that illegals may cross into our Country freely. Once here, they are now promising them, the illegal trespassers, FREE healthcare!

The goal; you and I, the American citizen are expendable, the Dems are seeking to start anew with open borders and a flood of new migrants.

The writing is on the wall.

I stand by my title, I just didn’t know how right I was!

      This IS your choice America!

Ken it was quite a while back, but I was over there recently at night and didn’t really take note, I know it is coming back strong and I am so excited about what our future...in space, holds.

OK...people...STOP laughing at me. I swear to God, I do NOT drink...no drugs either! It's long overdue that I call it a day. I cannot believe I just did this! O.M.G.

I read Glenn's article about "MARS"......and Ken's comment.......and then commented TO Ken on your article Angie. Is this CRAZY or am I a genius at multi-tasking.?? All I need now is for my cuckoo clock to spout off!

PLEASE guys, don't tell my sons. They'll pack me up and ship to the "you-know-where" and abandon me !! How embarrassing!! Good Night!

Ken.....This very interesting (& although difficult for me to even TRY to conceive, "exciting.") I can tell you, "Mars" sounds like a great place to be right about now...even if they aren't quite ready for us!

What a week this has been!

I imagine this is much more fascinating to our younger generation. Honestly, at this age, I doubt I'd even survive the trip!!

      Very educational, Ken. Thanks. Paula

I assume you knew I was joking about never going off topic. My winky face didn't make it in the comment.

But kidding aside, it is exciting that space exploration is continuing even I'm not certain I'd ever want to go myself. Are they still working on tourist flights up there?

AB that must have been a while ago, the past couple years have seen major turn around, Titusville is getting major attention from developers, Blue Origin is right there next to the Kennedy Space Center, Space X as well, and now Boeing is coming too... a great time to be living on the Space Coast if you are into the ongoing efforts of space exploration.

Even if you are not, the economy here is booming and more and more companies are arriving all the time.

That's awesome Ken. A while back we were in the area to have dinner with friends and it was so different around there, almost as if we were visiting an abandoned town, but that's changing...for the better, love it!

I don't know what you're talking about. . .I never go off topic.

I'm not sure how I feel about space tourism. Sounds scary to me....I'll wait awhile and make sure no one gets blown up first. . . I still remember my brother asking me if I'd seen any shuttle parts when that one exploded over Texas.

Yes, give me a Bless You over a bless your heart....every time! I left a 'bless your heart' remark, on that other hub, but it was among the deleted. I think Will's definition may be the best I've heard to date.

Look at us, off subject...What?!? ;)

In other news, our booming economy and such, Boeing's Space and Launch headquarters is coming to Florida's space coast!

That's true!....Unless maybe it's a "bless your heart" coming your way. Then you may need to figure out if it's a "you poor thing" in a good way or in a pity you kind of way......Or worse, that slap to the face we talked about on another hub. LOL

      Hence, Pence.....Now that's catchy!!!

He is definitely not as dynamic as Trump, but they make a good team, they think a lot alike and just like some of Pence has rubbed off on Trump, I'm sure some of Trump has rubbed off on him! I've always liked Mike Pence, since my tea party days!

Yes, way to go Texas, way to take a stand for the unborn!

We have a safe haven law here in Florida, where babies up to 7 days old, can be dropped off, no questions asked, unless there's evidence of abuse.

Just read that link you shared. That's what I like about Texas! At first, I was curious because I was thinking that they already have sanctuaries for babies state-wide. I don't know if it's a national thing or just the state, but there are certain places called "safe places" here where babies that are unwanted can be dropped off without punishment instead of being left for dead somewhere. I figured it must be about something different than that. At least the people there are being proactive. If it doesn't go to the surpreme court, they may lose, though.A few years ago, I would assume they'd win. Now, I'm not so sure.

Angie.....I was just realizing something frightening.....The 2020 election campaigns have begun despite the hard core fact that, thanks to the libs, there's been no break, no rest, since 2015/16!!

Shivers down my spine, girlfriend. I believe it's time for me to take a sabbatical.....all over again from square one? Can't bear the thought!

Hi Vivian, I had responded to you, but now it has mysteriously disappeared...hmmm...

Thank you so much, I have to agree with you, this really will be a "good versus evil" election.

The things that the left not only attempt to justify, but do so, enthusiastically.....makes me ill, literally!

The passion on display in Orlando the other night, I believe is representative of the passion and excitement across this land, only it IS NOT represented through the mainstream media.

I think this comment is representative of the one that got away! ;)

      Have a wonderful day.

Welcome back, A B! Great article! I agree with your premise.....the next election boils down to one type of life or another--I would say "good versus evil."

What is also shocking is how the media has moved from just being "fake news" to being fascist propaganda machines. Networks stopped televising Trump's rally. Now, the Democratic Convention is only allowed to be recorded and viewed on MSNBC. Talk about the media controlling what people hear and see! THAT is fascism!

Glad to see you back on here!

And she's back, folks! I don't mind your political article even when my opinion differs. Nice to know people who understand how to disagree without a fight.

Can't say I disagree with this, though. Someone I went to high school with also came to TX for college and stayed, though we didn't attend the same college. She shared abortion news from our home state that made me sick. She was speaking out against it and I could only think of one more reason I don't think of that state as home anymore. I miss some people and that's about it, as far as living there goes . To me, it feels like there has been a shift in what it even means to be liberal or to be conservative. I've never considered myself as either one or as a Republican vs. Democrat.....but you can bet that I will never support murder.
