So how’s your dwelling doing?
Is this your house
Let's build a beautiful home
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21 New International Version)
So how’s your house doing? It is a sad state of affairs to see so many decrepit houses today, both young and old.Todays society is a disposable society. Oh I will be happy if I just have the latest mobile phone. Oh I will be happy if I have the latest fashions this season. Oh I will be happy if I get a raise. Oh I will be happy if I get married or have children (preferably in that order). Oh I will be happy if I can hang out with the cool kids (Who are, from my experience, most times big losers. They think they are so much better than anyone else).
Yet……. even when you have these things you are even more unhappy.
So what do you think the solution is?
Well, it is not to popular in todays world, but there really is only one answer: Gods riches are the best investment in life.
How can you mass up on these treasures?
Again, it is not too popular in todays world but, always try to live by Gods Law: Do unto others as you would have them do to you. Do not do to other people what you would not want someone to do to you. Accept Jesus Christ as your King, become a member of royalty by joining His Holy Family, accept the Holy Spirit as your guidance councilor, comforter and healer. It is not easy, but, the ultimate reward, a home in Heaven with the most loving, kind and Comforting King, is out of this world.
Prayer: Please Jehovah Jireh, God our provider; provide me with the opportunity to build my house upon the solid ground of Your divine love. We respectfully ask this in the name of the one who showed us the greatest love: Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day.
