Updated on November 4, 2012

I’ve never cared for Chris Christie. He is loud, brash, rude and seems to have a very hot temper. As a rule these are not traits one associates with a politician. Certainly not traits we want in a president. Well, Christie has bragged that he could win the presidency and possibly he has a run for that office in the back of his mind.

Sometimes he comes out with some pretty funny retorts and effectively silences rude reporters, but I don’t think he is presidential material and that may be what he is angling for in 2016.

His coziness with Obama right before an election concerning Sandy is disgusting. This election is too important, the parties too divergent in what they want for the country for Christie to be cozying up to the opposition just to showcase himself.

I’m pretty sure that was his motive. Of course he is going to get federal help for his state, so over the top, gratuitous praise for Obama was disgusting and not necessary.

But the really dangerous thing about Chris Christie is his coziness with terrorists. Yup. I wrote about this months ago and a lot of people were angry that I was bad mouthing the fat, hot head, but the facts are, he panders to Muslims.

Here’s what I wrote about Christie’s friendship with Sohail Mohammend, and the facts have not changed:

Sohail Mohammed is an attorney and one of his clients is the radical imam Mohammed
Qatanani. Qatanani is the head of a large mosque in New Jersey. The Department of Homeland Security is fighting to have him deported for his failure to disclose a conviction in an Israeli court for being a member of the terrorist group Hamas.

Before the judge could make a decision on deporting the terrorist Qatanani, Cristie said "My view is he's always had a very good relationship with us, and he's a man of great goodwill."

Christie made this remark at the Ramadan dinner and embraced the terrorist. He further stated that he found Qatanani "to be a constructive force in attempting to strengthen our relations with that community."

Although Qatanani is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood the terrorist group behind AlQaeda and Hamas and has pleaded guilty to this, he was not deported, partially because of Christie support.

Even more amazing Christie appointed Sohail Mohammend to the bench. Yup he is now a judge. A Muslim who believes in Sharia Law and believes it should be the law of the land is sitting on an American bench thanks to Chris Christie and if you dare to suggest to Christie that his relationship to terrorists seems a bit too close, he will blast you with his big fat mouth and call you a bigot.

New Jersey is a hair away from becoming our first Sharia state thanks to Christie.

We already have a president that entertains terrorists in the White House and appoints them to his cabinet positions. We don’t need another.

Also Christie is disgustingly fat. If he wants to represent his state and run for public office he needs to show the public he has self-control with his mouth.

When someone opens his mouth to say the truth, he doesn't fit to the very secretive mold of politicians; the ones that say one thing one day, another thing another day. It is so much better when they are obsequious liars!

It's called the right to a fair trial, defense lawyers are there to ensure it occurs, as for the personal views of that lawyer I do not agree with them but he has every right to them and I have plenty of friends with radically different political and religious opinions that I don't agree with.

ok, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I just don't think anyone should be aiding terrorists to stay in our country. I don't get it.

Er ... our legal system says that even the worst of the worst deserve competent legal representation. I don't think our public defenders are big supporters of rape and violence for instance.

I think you're right that part of his recent praise of Obama is likely about helping his chances in 2016, but I'd also like to think that any halfway decent human being in his position would also say "to hell with presidential politics, I've got people hurting here."

As for New Jersey being close to a Sharia state, all I can say is that the cast of Jersey Shore is definitive proof that NJ is a godless realm.

The attorney advocates for Sharia Law. Is that something you support also?

So being friends with someone who is the defense attorney for someone else that has possible ties to terrorism makes one an Islamic panderer :P

I have a friend who is a defense lawyer, he ensures people have a free trial and are not jailed for things they didn't do, obviously I am a criminal panderer :P
