Heart

Take heart, oh youth, for tomorrow breaks,

and is a time to seek the truth,

The meaning of life, not beyond your grasp,

not in hiding, as if a sleuth.

The dawning of many better days,

under the sun's warming rays of hope,

Long past the times of bad mistakes,

as mankind was to fail, and to grope.

New life, and in abundance is here,

a fresh beginning, now to be received,

All the joys that tomorrow may bring,

much more than has been conceived.

Use your fine minds, oh youthful ones,

now bring on the challenges to be met,

Put forth your best efforts in your resolve,

the past, as lessons, not to forget.

Let not the aging and withered lands,

prevent your creative and fond renewals,

Plant the seeds of hopes and trusts,

let the gift of the spirit, be your finest of jewels.

Stand up and face the beckoning calls,

bring out the inner powers, your strengths,

Found deep within, and always there,

for your ships to sail the oceans' lengths.

Explore the depths of seas and skies,

putting aside the past deceit and the lies,

Bring forth new cures, throwing out the old,

make great discoveries, all so bold.

A time of imaginations, all grand,

helping create the finest, in the brave new land,

Traverse the outer limits of heaven's own home,

to span the universe, as you roam.

Pour out your hearts, lift up your heads,

take hold of hands, as good news spreads,

Now is the time to breach the gait's doors,

holding all back, from heavenly shores.

Beseech the lines and read the fond stories,

giving hope to the young, so full of all glories,

A better time to live life, is now at hand,

a time to marvel, and each to understand,

Lift the curtain, that hider of days,

remove the looking glass, with its masking haze,

Open all minds, take a closer look inside,

abolish the gloom, that death seems to abide.

Find your true selves, making the best choices,

lift your true spirits in powerful voices,

Take heart, oh youth, for tomorrow is to break,

is the time of good tidings, with heroes, to make.

....well this ain't no Gary the Cable Guy (just who is Gary anyway, a redneck stand up comedian or something like that?) this is more like the greatest philosophical poetry I've read in quite some time - with profound meaning and soulful depth - you always reach deep down into your poetic heart and know how to move us with your words.

Youth is fleeting, must enjoy it while we have it. Now that I am older, I look back and see where I could have made better use of my days. However, I still feel young at heart and vow to make the most of each day. I pray for the youth of today that they will use what they have to the best of their advantage, and seek God while they are young. God is good! Blessings.

This was absolutely beautiful! Our youth is our future, the world calls them to stand and it starts with us, nurturing our youth, loving them, teaching them and being open to their creative minds as we can learn as well. Thank you for a wonderful prose of hope for our youth.

Once again - so beautiful. I love the messages here. I get that we are all here to learn lessons and to grow within our own spirits - to do better and be better - even if we go through hard times. There are lessons in everything. : ) While I am here -and I don't know how else to do it - but I have been nominated for another hub nugget - if you care to vote - you did comment very nicely originally on my hub A Canadian Love Affair. Here's the link if you want to vote: https://hubpages.com/food

You have a wonderful message here in your words. I am concerned for our youth of today. I wrote a Hub "My Concern For Youth". I invite you to read it when you have some time. Life is stressful for everyone...it's just how we deal with it that matters.

I voted this Hub UP, etc. and will share.

Thanks Bong, I wanted to leave a message of hope to our youth, many of whom are quite discouraged and feel mislead in today's world of big challenges. Tomorrow will depend upon our youth and how the meet these challenges. This was my hope, that they will read and take heart in meeting the tough times with strength from the human spirit within each. Thank you again for your kind comments.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Faith Reaper, I wrote this for the youth of the world, that the may take strength in it and overcome the stresses of this life we all share.

Oh, what a hub full of His truths dear one!!! I loved this on so many levels. Yes, our youth are our future - Yikes, but we must place our hope in the LORD, and pray for our youth, as they face things that we never even had to think about growing up, at least for me. Voted Way Up to the Heavens, except funny. God bless you. In His Love, Faith Reaper
