Teflon is Back!

Updated on February 17, 2017

Political Editorial

Trump is amazing!

He truly is by far the most resilient president since Teflon Regan…nothing ever stuck to him.

I see him as a boxer up against the ropes of leftist whining and bigotry. He takes punches to the gut and head, but stays on his feet, pushes back, and like Mohammed Ali shuffles his feet and hits back.

You don’t see him reel.

You don’t see him shy away from conflict. In fact he takes delight in the exchange.

He challenges, not with mediocre finger wagging, but with point on point sound bites, while pointing out the true blame for many things wrong with America, and that is the Liberal Media, whose bias toward hate mongering has reached epidemic levels.

I read on Facebook today where a liberal said he didn’t care anything about you—you could be a slacker, a debtor, a criminal, or even a Republican, as long as you hated Trump then he would be your friend.

Back 2008, those who hated Obama were called racist. If a cartoonist drew something funny, they were condemned. A rodeo clown in Kansas was fired because he wore an Obama mask. And the beat goes on…

The liberals cried out, “Give him a chance!” speaking of Obama. “He is young and new to Washington.” (He was a senator for four years) “Leave him alone,” they cried and the media echoed these sentiments.

Can you imagine what a field day the current media would have if a Rep. Trump supporter said what Pelosi said about the ACA?

“But we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.”

The poor sap would be run out of Washington on a rail.

Unfortunately, Trump does not have the Media in his corner. Despite this he comes out swinging and hits back, stands his ground.

Yeah right. Reagan was terrible, CARTER should have been given a second term. Were Cochran voting that's who she'd have voted for.

Welcome to hub pages Cleve. So far you're a breath of fresh air blowing over the stench from hubbers like Cochran. Keep writing.

"He truly is by far the most resilient president since Teflon Regan…nothing ever stuck to him."

And you think that is a good thing? 40 years ago Reagan turned this country in a direction different from anything that had ever gone before. And we are still dealing with the consequences that resulted (deregulation degraded every area of our economy.) Now Trump is attempting to do the same damage, like Reagan, without acknowledging the future risk to the country. And that is somehow a good thing?
