The Answer To The World's Problems

What Mankind Desires Most

I've heard people ask many times if there is a God why the world is the way it is. It seems to be human nature to try to push negative things off onto someone or something besides themselves, because they don't want to take responsibility for the heinous things they've done, or allowed

We as humans should desire peace, health, happiness, wealth, long life, and love.
These are the things I see most when people are asked “what are the six things they want most”.
All of these desires are positive, and uplifting innate needs.
Most people think of needs as food and drink, shelter, and clothing. In other words, they tend to associate needs with the physical person, and not the inner parts of their being.

Both are equally important, and neither should be neglected. Some people don’t even believe the physical, and inner are separate qualities.

Where Do You Stand?

You might say to yourself “I’m not so bad, and I don’t have a lot to change about myself’ But is that true? I kind of doubt it, because there has only been a handful of people who have reached this level of inner balance, the rest are people who want to, and never do, and then there are those who don’t care.

*****Bible Verse**

"Let your heart therefore be perfect with the Lord our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day" 1 Kings 8:61

Testing Yourself-Who Are You?

Ask yourself these questions, and even if it may be hard to do, please be completely honest with yourself, only you will know. Admit to yourself who you really are.

  1. Do you experience fear, worry, guilt?,
  2. Do you have a lot of doubts about yourself, the world, and others?
  3. Do you think in a way, and do things that causes moral revulsion? (disgust and loathing)
  4. Do you hate others?
  5. Do you betray people's trust?
  6. Do you talk about others? are you two faced?
  7. Do you turn away those in need?
  8. Do you find yourself judging others?
  9. Is the law of man the only reason others are safe around you? (for instance, would you hit someone if you wouldn't get in trouble for it?)
  10. Do you steal, anything? even pens, and paper from work?
  11. Do you yell, and scream, or even hit others in a fit of temper? (your children included)
  12. Are you a liar, and a slanderer? Even white lies?
  13. Do you cause other people problems just because you don’t like them, or what they believe in?
  14. Do you listen to, and or spread gossip?
  15. Do you do spells to hurt others?
  16. Do you murder?

What If One Or More Of My Answers Is Yes?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you’re not doing your best to contribute to peace in the world, you are actually suppressing it

Love

When I speak of love, I'm not talking about a feeling, because feelings are a symptom of love, not love itself. Love is action, the way we show respect, and treat people. It is a deep desire to improve the well being of others

Some will lay down their lives for those they love.

There are times that love can be unpleasant, but God said that he chastises those he loves

If a mother witnesses her child almost get hit by a car while playing in the street, she will meet her child with love, hugs, and kisses because he is okay. She will probably also meet her child with anger, and may discipline him for being in the street, and putting himself in danger.

You can rest assured both actions, and reactions comes from love, from the desire for the well being of another

Love isn't always cuddly

Can be the happiest thing ever, but also cause the most pain? And yet, everyone keeps searching for it

What Can I Do For Our World?

To have a peaceful, happy world you have to work on the areas that you answered yes to, and improve yourself, and peace will follow.

So If you answered yes to any of these questions you are hindering world peace. How can you stop doing all the things that create chaos in the world? Change starts with you, and me, and if change isn't easy, seek professional help
Hate and Crime isn’t the answer, no matter the circumstance

You have to learn to truly love others, yourself, and God, because if you do you can’t possibly do anything to hurt anyone, including yourself. You show love through tolerance, patience, and acceptance, and concern by helping others

The World Is Worth It

In order to have a world worth living in, we must remember that if we each make changes within ourselves, we’ll see a difference in the world, one person at a time.

We have so little time in which to grow, that we can’t afford to spend one minute worrying about changing someone else, because we can’t.

The Song That Says It All

Spread the Love
Song by Kenny Chesney And The Wailers

All God's children we got to come together
And share the good feeling,
Cause nothing ever gonna make this world better
If we don't start believing,
That love really really really is the answer
Just like a wise man said.
Let the night come to see us, the music come free us
And let's start drifting away.
Leave all our problems behind now, no worries.
Everybody join hands cause it's time now, now.
It's time to
Spread the love, spread the love,
All over the world.
All God's people,
Spread the love, spread the love,
All over the world.
All over the world.
All my brothers and sisters, ain't nobody can tell us,
That this planet is falling apart
If we just love each other
And lift up one another
Shout out

Love is the ticket, the train it will take us.
No one can stop us, nobody will break us.
Follow the rhythm that leads us to Heaven tonight.

Leave all our troubles behind now, now
Everybody join hands cause it's time now, now, now
(We got to)
Spread the love, spread the love,
All over the world.
All God's people,
Spread the love, spread the love,
All over the world.
All God's children,
Spread the love, spread the love,
All over the world.
We've got to spread the love.
(Yea yea yea yea yea yea)

Love is the ticket, the train it will take us.
No one can stop us, nobody will break us.
Follow the rhythm that leads us to Heaven tonight.

Why-Rascal Flatts

"Why" Lyrics

Rascal Flatts

You must have been in a
Place so dark
You couldn't feel the light
Reachin' for you through
That stormy cloud
Now here we are
Gathered in our little hometown
This can't be the way
You meant to draw a crowd

[Chorus]
Oh why, that's what I keep asking
Was there anything I could've
Said or done
Oh, I had no clue you were
Masking
A troubled soul, God only knows
What went wrong and why
You would leave the stage
In the middle of a song

Now in my mind I'll keep you frozen
As a seventeen-year-old
Rounding third to score the
Winning run
You always played with passion
No matter what the game
When you took the stage
You'd shine just like the sun

[Chorus]
Oh why, that's what I keep asking
Was there anything I could've
Said or done
Oh, I had no clue you were
Masking
A troubled soul, God only knows
What went wrong and why
You would leave the stage
In the middle of a song

Now the oak trees are swaying
In the early autumn breeze
A golden sun is shining on my face
Through tangled thoughts
I hear a mockingbird sing
This old world really ain't that
Bad of a place

Oh why, there's no comprehending
And who am I to try to
Judge or explain
Oh, but I do have one
Burning question
Who told you life wasn't
Worth the fight
They were wrong, they lied
Now you're gone and we cry
'Cause it's not like you to
Walk away
In the middle of a song

Your beautiful song
Your absolutely beautiful song

I like your use of the questions and polls in this hub that inspire introspection in your readers. We can definitely all benefit by learning about ourselves. I've always believed that humans are judgmental (of others) because it's so much easier to do that than turn an honest eye to oneself. Of course, it's only through honest introspection that true compassion and growth are possible. Great job.

Very important messages in this hub Mara, and really makes us think about what's important in the world. The best way of making it a better place is to make ourselves into the best person we can. Then we can be kind and generous to theirs and lead by example. It is clear that you are a good person. Voted up

WoW! I just watched the video to the song you mentioned above. I believe that the school featured in the video was the one my sister attended. Also I feel a little embarrassed because it's the first I'm hearing about this song.....

BUT IT MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH JAMAICA ALL OVER AGAIN!

Sometimes when the world seems too busy you forget about the beautiful beaches, the fresh air, the ever glowing trees and the warmth from random strangers...but, you reminded me of that....thank you Mara. (in fact Jamaica was voted the 3rd happiest country to live in 2009)

I think I'm going to enjoy classes today :)

you should visit the island sometime; in fact check out my hub on "The truth about Jamaica"

Thank you so much for your kindness Dwight, it's nice to see you here.

When I was trying to decide what career I would choose, it was between a psychologist, and an attorney (to eventually becoming a judge) My dad helped me decide, and now I am taking my undergraduates to get into law school. I think it's a better choice because I can help more people. I see the unfairness in the justice system, and will help try to change some laws. I will have to take some psychology courses, which is a good thing, so I can better understand others.

I like to think I have a good heart, so thank you for seeing it.

Well this was a really interesting hub...........It sounds to me like you're a natural when it comes to socio-philosophical wisdom. This hub has a lot of ideals that could do some real good in peoples lives, and I hope it does.

I can see from the way you write that you're a really good person with a good heart....keep it up.

It was nice waking up in the morning to your hub :)
