The Malthusian Solution by Merwin

Updated on December 16, 2012

I know next to nothing of Atlas shrugged, I have seen a snippet of an interview with the author Ms. Rand by Johnny Carson, and I have seen the movie Atlas Shrugged Part I, and will see Part II.

Whether or not a Rothschild ghost wrote it, or if it has potential road map qualities for those in power, is left to semi-educated speculations, and questionable testimonies. I too, would need something(s) that are more substantive than one person's testimony.

And if we would embark on the works of fiction that have an eerie correlation to current events, I may include Rand's A.S., or, Orwell's 1984 - C.S. Lewis' That Hideous Strength, Abolition of Man, Magician's Twin - and perhaps Huxley's Brave New World. But the reality is still, that they are works of fiction, as amazing as their perceived alignments may be.

What may be considered hard evidence I believe, are things such as the United States campaign against Native Americans, which speaks of total disregard for the human rights of that sector of humanity almost from its infancy, and that continues to this day. The economic attack on America, which had its genesis well before it became law(s) in 1913, both with Income Tax, and Federal Reserve. And then there is the designed attrition of our liberties through the emasculation of our Bill of Rights, with its most recent violations being the Patriot Act and the National Defense Authorization Act.

Native Americans, the IRS, the Fed. Res. and the undermining of everyone's liberties on a wholesale level, are just some “real” facts that I would point to for investigation.

These coupled with the models provided by the atrocities of other countries regimes, French Republic under Robespierre, the Nazis, Soviets especially under Stalin, The Cultural Revolution under Mao - after the Republic of China was established with most of the atrocities occurring in the sixties, Chile's Augusto Pinochet 1973, the Killing fields of Cambodia under Pol Pot... etc. ad nauseam.

Then... then, we have the total erosion of any credibility of our foreign affairs by every president since Kennedy. Our country has become the “go to” entity for population reduction, for any nation that has a surplus population. And now our terrorism for hire has taken on an even more sinister aspect with the use of armed, unmanned drones, I invite investigation of that. While the investigation is ongoing, look into the term "double hit" or “double tap”, it refers to the multiple launch of missiles when the rescuers begin their efforts after the initial strike. So much for the "surgical" concept, no?

The proudest of nations has, under the last four presidents turned itself into much more than a mere terrorist organization, and has done so while becoming a de-population machine for hire.

Sarcasm alert…

I suggest that we advertise ourselves as The Malthusian Solution... "Are your citizens unruly... are there waaaaay to many of them and they keep cranking out babies… are you looking for relief? Look no further, our Malthusian Solution (copywright U.S.A. all rights reserved) will provide instant relief.

If a region in your nation is overburdened with populace, if they grow restless and even violent for lack of food, (too many mouths and not enough foodstuffs) give us a call and within just a few months we will have reduced the population of the target area by at least 20%, removed the masses will to generate objection, and provide your elite and military with monetary, ordinance, and shipments of food, with the intended relief “for the poor and starving” sent to them by our own "compassionate hearts" here in the U.S. Our charitable organizations can be your windfall.

But wait... there’s more... we are willing to take all your blame..! Yes, its true, if you act now... within a quarter or two you too may be a despot living in the lap of luxury, and from that lap, you can and will point at "the U.S. for all the evil your children has suffered". As for your "lap of luxury" we will provide you (and your elite) royalties, as a form of gratitude for our being allowed to rape your country for its loyalty and perhaps its natural resources (if any).

Don't forget to ask about our Drones "Double Tap" capabilities, act now, have a nice regime!"

End of Sarcasm…

I know the above advertisement is ridiculous, in its presentation, but it is not that far off the mark. We have become THE terrorist country and we do it with air-strikes, both manned and unmanned, and we arm regimes.

I don't know about intentions of fluoride, I don't think our government cares about our teeth. Maybe all they care about is proving that it doesn't matter what the U.S. public wants, if we say blue they will force us to see red. "How many lights do you see Winston...? How many?"

It is all about control, it is all about power. Wealth is nothing more than lubrication for the machine.

Added today 12/16/2012...
The first thing our government will need to do is disarm its public, then cry havoc.

You have surely published an interesting article. You indeed make some points in which I fully agree, some others that I am in agreeance with with qualifications, and there are some ideas expressed here with which I firmly disagree, if I may say so.

You write, "the United States campaign against Native Americans, which speaks of total disregard for the human rights"

OK. I am 3/8 Cherokee. I know all about the Trail of Tears, the Buffalo, Wounded Knee, et al. I also know that America is about Individual Rights, not Human Rights. Individual Rights come from God and the State is obliged to not abrogate them. Human Rights comes from Secular Humanism and is the idea that our rights come from other men, not from God.

By far, most of the Cherokee and other Indians, simply became Americans, intermarried, and quietly disappeared into the fabric of American life like everybody else, with the same rights. Those that insisted on remaining a sovereign nation do not qualify for the American Bill of Rights. Were they mistreated? Were the treaties signed with them unfair and sometimes ignored? Yes. And the other side of my family, the Welsh side; they were mistreated for 1000 years by the Anglo-Saxons. Should I be mad about that too?

To get a more accurate view of what really happened between Indians and Colonists, check out my Hub entitled: "America in the 17th Century."

The whole Indian thing is way overblown today in our culture because behind that is an agenda. The agenda is to denigrate America in the eyes of its people, mostly working through children, to the point of making it appear not only no better than any other country—getting rid of American Exceptionalism, as Obama would hope—but worse than any other country. Why? So its citizens will not consider it worth defending. When the One World Government comes to take America's sovereignty and her wealth, half of the Americans won't care, since they have been convinced of its filthy, nasty, rottenness.

One area where I agree with you wholeheartedly is about "The economic attack on America, which had its genesis well before it became law(s) in 1913, both with Income Tax, and Federal Reserve."

Yes, indeed, my friend. Now you are onto something.

You write, "Native Americans, the IRS, the Fed. Res. and the undermining of everyone's liberties on a wholesale level, are just some “real” facts that I would point to for investigation. These coupled with the models provided by the atrocities of other countries regimes, French Republic under Robespierre, the Nazis, Soviets especially under Stalin, The Cultural Revolution under Mao - after the Republic of China was established with most of the atrocities occurring in the sixties, Chile's Augusto Pinochet 1973, the Killing fields of Cambodia under Pol Pot"

My oh my. So the United States is to be equated morally with Pol Pot, Mao, Stalin, Hitler, and the French Revolution (which I wrote a Hub about recently)? This is a bridge WAY too far. Someone has drunk the Kool Aid. The Cultural Marxism Kool Aid.

You write, "The proudest of nations has, under the last four presidents turned itself into much more than a mere terrorist organization, and has done so while becoming a de-population machine for hire."

Not so by any stretch of the imagination. Depopulation?

You add, "If a region in your nation is overburdened with populace, if they grow restless and even violent for lack of food, (too many mouths and not enough foodstuffs) give us a call and within just a few months we will have reduced the population of the target area by at least 20%"

Pray tell, what country has America depopulated by 20%? And you say we do it so despots who call on us to do their bidding can remain in power and live in luxury? The last I looked, we deposed despots, not served any.

You are sublimely wise and discerning in some ways. For instance:

"It is all about control, it is all about power. Wealth is nothing more than lubrication for the machine. Added today 12/16/2012...The first thing our government will need to do is disarm its public, then cry havoc."

      AMEN.
