The Nuclear Architect

Updated on April 24, 2015

Wasp Tevya is at the Table

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Friday, April 24, 2015. Our delightful friend, Wasp Tevya, is at the breakfast table. Tevya is more than a little concerned about the Influence President Obama's top White House advisor, Valerie Jarrett, has upon the president and the country. Tevya is preparing a breakfast feast for all the breakfastpoppers. Today he is stepping outside his comfort zone and putting together Breakfast Burritos. I will be whipping up a batch of Mexican coffees. Please join us for a meal and some information about who is really shaping policy in the United States.

Who is Valerie Jarrett?

Thank you all for joining me this morning. I wanted to discuss Valerie Jarrett and her relationship with President Obama. Jarrett was born in Shiraz, Iran. She is an attorney who, it is said, designed the nuclear deal with Iran that if signed will be a pathway to a nuclear Iran down the road. She and the president have a close relationship. They share a similar world view and they both completely reject traditional American exceptionalism. The last six years have shown quite clearly how badly our status in the world has fallen. Our relationship with Israel is shaky and our new relationship with Iran is beyond troubling. It has been reported that early talks with Iran were made possible by Jarrett. She played a huge role in behind the scenes talks with Iranian leaders. She also advised President Obama to cancel the operation to kill Osama bin Laden three times before he was brought down. Her influence over President Obama is no secret. Her role is unprecedented as an advisor. She receives Secret Service protection with a 24 hour detail of five or six agents. She has enormous influence over President Obama. I wonder, is she staying near to advise him or keep him in line? It's hard to say.

The President and His Friends

Obama was elected in spite of his lack of experience and his mentors. One such mentor was Communist Party USA member Frank Marshall Davis. Davis served with Jarrett's father in-law, Vernon Jarrett, at the Citizens's Committee to Aid Packing House Workers in Chicago. It is no wonder that President Obama would end up to be exactly who he is. He is a man who came here as president to "change" our nation to suit the image of his friends and teachers who hated what America stood for. He learned his lessons well and his mentor Jarrett is, no doubt, keeping him on track. He and Jarrett are determined to cut this deal with Iran. She sits in her office, outside the Oval Office like a sentry. Her influence and power are unprecedented. I imagine that it must be difficult to determine who the real president is. No one voted for Valerie Jarrett, but she seems to be running the show.

A Bad Deal

Despite Jarrett's enthusiasm for a nuclear deal with Iran, clearer minds want the talks to stop. An agreement would destabilize an already unstable Middle East. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, a regional nuclear arms race would begin. Israel is well aware of the potential for this happening, but President Obama and Jarrett will see this through despite an almost certain catastrophic outcome. It seems as though they want to see a nuclear Iran. Iran has steadfastly refused to allow inspections and they insist that all sanctions be removed. They are calling the shots and that seems to be just fine with this administration. The only sensible thing to do is to keep the sanctions going and do everything possible to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Middle East specialist Clare Lopez of the Center for Security Policy has described these negotiations as a diplomatic kabuki dance intended to cover up the awful truth, that in her view, Iran already has nuclear warheads.

Tevya's Song

Dear God, Presidents should love America?

Why did you make one who has mixed feelings?
