The Peregrine Life
"Life is a journey, not a destination."-Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Each and every one on this planet has a unique and purposeful meaning on earth. Finding our meaning is the hardest and most beautiful thing about life. For everyone, the desire outcome is happiness, but life is not about that. The true outcome is finding ourselves, are own destiny, and living for ourselves. Discovering that is where the journey of life begins. Someone has to figure that out on his or her own. In life, we are presented with challenges, whether we see it coming or not. Some will face more obstacles than others. Everyone will have his or her own path to peregrinate. This what makes life interesting. From all walks of life, people that we meet can have a similar background, demographic to ours, but at the same time can be so different from us. Everyone has a unique identity, and the challenges people have to face throughout his or her life can mold them into the very person that he or she is. These challenges may help instill courage, strength, resiliency, perseverance, etc into a person's core values. Life is meant to be this way to test one's will. People should rise to take on the challenges into their lives, unexpected or not. A person may discover something about him or herself that he or she never really knew. No one should let fear of taking on new challenges stall him or her going wherever he or she is trying to go in life. Challenges can be growth that we individually find fulfilling. Martin Luther King, Jr, once said, “The ultimate measure of a person is not where he or she stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he or she stands at times of challenge and controversy.” A person is usually defined by what he or she is going through and how he or she triumphs in that moment. Everyone goes through something in his or her life, and life is not always going to be comfortable or convenient to anyone all the time. That would be nice, but life does not work that way. People usually grow from this, and that what it is about, growth. So when face with a challenge, one should take it and enjoy it. There are no destination in life. Growing and learning from challenges are here to the end of life; there is no way to avoid it. Everyone has a story to tell of the experiences that he or she has gone through and the type of growth that came of it to make him or her the very person that he or she is today.
