The Political Salivating And Lusting Over Governor Christie

Updated on September 29, 2011

The Political Salivating And Lusting Over Governor Christie

We have heard the clarion calls far and near… beckoning the sapling, New Jersey Governor Christie to enter the Presidential sweepstakes – apparently the Republican voters are not satisfied with the current crop of those vying for residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Now due to my living in New York, in close proximity to Jersey, I know that if the Garden State governor can emulate his success so far in Jersey in the White House… it would be a welcome change. Governor Christie is reluctant because he does not have enough experience – oh how I wished that the current occupant in the seat of power had taken a page from Christie. Liberals have tendencies of criticizing Governor Palin for her supposed lack of experience… forgetting her positive stewardship of Alaska, but excuse President Obama for his less than stellar record when he briefly served in the Senate.

What is it that has the Republican pundits and voters alike salivating over Governor Christie – it is his ability to be frank and take on the bullies that currently represent hard working union workers. If the State of California is ‘patient zero’... representing all that is wrong economically, then New Jersey was in bed with her. In New Jersey, rendering to Caesar has been such a detriment that many have left the Garden State; and with this lack of revenues in Jersey, the unions still wanted their pound of flesh when the fiscal calf was bulimic and emaciated. Governor Christie came in and stood up to the union bosses and told the tax collectors to sate their appetites for fear of driving those who provide the revenues from continuously leaving in droves. This was not a popular thing to do and Governor Christie was called all sorts of names, but he stood his ground… which, now have many wanting him to do what he did in Jersey in Washington.

Were Governor Christie to run, the double-edged swords of criticism would start flying and, moreover, the nature of politics these days would not even spare his wife and children. The 'fat jokes' would be plentiful and the ‘lower case Crucifixion’ would begin in earnest… with the New York Times and MSNBC helming the flagships of opposition. We are going to hear about the negative image of an obese leader of the free world being a terrible example… and conveniently ignoring the fit, but struggling chain smoker in the White House. I say to those vying for the White House or even to President Obama… if Governor Christie indeed does not run, then emulate his Gubernatorial actions that he has done so far in New Jersey – incidentally, President Obama we did not elect troika-heads of state (Pelosi, Reid, and a President), we elected You!

Thanks for enlightening me on some of the dangers of Sharia Law...

Thomas Jefferson read many languages, including Arabic. He had his own copy of the Koran to remind him of the perversity of the Sharia law and how Islam hated infidels. After our country paying a jizya (tax) to Islamic nations for the right to sail the High Seas, when Jefferson became President, he refused to do that and went into and fought the Islamic control of the High Seas.

Sharia law is sexually perverted, discriminatory against infidels, and even allows beheadings of infidels and stoning of women.

TPC:You actually consider Koch a GOP mouthpiece - a lifelong Dem?

I just think it's funny that the Koch's and their mouthpieces haven't found a 'Great Right Hope' yet.

      Hi TPC:

Long time no hear - if you hate the RNC so much, why do you care about whom they nominate for President - You are pushing Huntman because he used to work for the Secular Messiah and Utah Ambassador is what we Christians call luke-warm on the issues.

Just the latest 'Great Right Hope' for the GOP.

About the only truly sane candidate in the field is Huntsman, but the real RNC; Beck, Limbaugh, etc, won't support him

If Governor Christie did appoint a Muslim to the New Jersey judiciary, I cannot judge them (Muslims) all collectively and make the leap that Sharia Law will usurp America's law. And aren't we doing the same thing when we focus in on the governor's 400 lbs - how is fit and trim in the White House doing vis-a-vis the economy..., etc?

A 400 pound newcomer is not the answer. He also does understand the danger of Sharia law and appointed a Muslim, Solail Mohammed, to a Judgeship. Mohammed thinks that 911 was caused by America.

Yeah I like his take on Unions. But that is not the complete picture.
