The Sky Is Falling!! And All The Chicken Little's are in a Rush mode as Glen Beck-ons them to slaughter.

Updated on March 15, 2011

'tis a Savage world..The Sky Is Falling!! And All The Chicken Little's are in a Rush mode as Glen Beck-ons them to slaughter.

In such a broil of hate towards Obama, one can find many associates and old quotes that might be damning. Such as the fear that we will be ruined by government run insurance plans, but the truth is only about two percent will actually be using it, hardly a ruination.

He is the most scrutunized man in the world, I highly doubt that an intelligent nation, including all of his supporters would stand for such losses of freedom as mentioned above. There will always be fanatical groups and ideas, guilt by association would condemn us all.

There is a massive movement to discredit a president who is simply trying to better this nation, they are the sore losers, mostly republican mouthpieces who figure if they didn't win, then they'll make the winner miserable.

I had to put up dumbya's shenannigans for 8 years... what with blackwater, and haliburton, and so many other secret truly dangerous precedents that he put in place, and many of them were killing people, innocent as well as guilty.

The very lack of armor in Iraq on our troops and their vehicles contributed greatly to a massive loss of life of our own, and thousands being maimed for life, all in the rush to a war in the wrong place for skewed reasons.

Obama has not cost anyone their life yet, except in the shitpile that bush left him, where he has to decide whether to extract our boys and get them home to safety, or let them languish and die in another futile offensive that will go on and on.

I prefer presidents who multi-task, and work hard daily to change things that were left starved by the past administration, He has only been in office a year, facing insurmountable debt, and war, and whining racist and glen beck driven agendas. I have not seen, nor will I see the anti-christ or hitler, or a witchdoctor or a black supremist in this man, but then I am not blinded by lies and hate.

He will succeed in changing things that will disturb the rich, the lobbyist and and the greedy who are behind the drive to see him fall.

not by losses of our freedom, but by sharing the freedom with all who deserve it.

I actually saw a shirt at one of those tea bagger parties that said, "Shoot Michelle and her two stupid kids!"

If this is the freedom of speech, that they are clamoring for, and the rights that they desire, I want no part of the extreme right, and I will dance on the grave of their beliefs when they fail.

Peace to you and yours, and thanks for the questioning of our leader. I do beleive in questioning those who lead us, though I was censored when bush was in. I know, I write for newspapers, who could not print what I wanted to say. And I am a Vietnam veteran, who saw what two useless wars can do...Vietnam...Cambodia....Iraq...Afghanistan.

I can take you to visit men who are still disabled by Vietnam, almost forty years later. You would be a rare visit for them. they are the forgotten ones.... much like the many who are now returning to spend their lives with massive brain injuries,

needing total support and care.

Look back at the ugliness that was perpetuated on us, before we start looking forward at projections of what might happen, horrors that are being spewed out over the public by the same people that thought Bush was some kind of God.

But you cannot realistically believe that Obama has the power to overthrow the constitution and America, and destroy all of us?? He is becoming the most persecuted and studied president in history, how would he ever get any such destructive programs past the maggots feeding on his failure??

Better we should let him do his job, nothing that is done by Obama, cannot be undone. Much of the crap that bush did is currently being undone as I speak.

We rule this country, after we get what the lobbyist and the rich corporations hand us, the leftovers. Obama is the only president in years to go after them! We should do likewise. Our enemy are the lobbyist who manipulate the system for the vast, wealthy corporations that feed of of us.... (U.S.)

They are chasing and seeking to destroy the messenger, rather then the cause. That is what makes me sad for the minority of Americans that think it's O.K. to disrespect and defame

their latest Commander-in-chief.

This will draw many more out of the woodwork to dispute me and call me blind.

But at this very moment I could care less. My father who has been on life supprt for eight days, needs a mattress to prevent bed sores, which could kill him by sepsis or staff or mersa infections, but his inadequate medicare program will only pay for it after he gets the bedsores.

I say let's strap a couple of bureaucrats who made that decision in a bed for three weeks and let them see how bad a bed sore feels, let them die from some erosive staph infection, because saving money is more important then saving lives.

We need changes

but the people that are moaning about Obama's ideas aren't living in a place where their father is rubbed raw by the status quo.

Put that in your bitter tea bags, and sip slowly.

My husband was bed ridden for almost a year... He died in March, 2008 from prostate cancer... He was misdiagnosed... he become one of many victims of medical malpractice, as hundreds of patients who trusted their Dr. and, as almost every grownup BOY, he was afraid to seek a second opinion... and/or 'never asked for directions"

He had no health insurance. For two weeks of hospital 'stay' we had to pay 100K, and that didn't include the Doctors visits and Lab tests, and Hormone therapy in the same hospital... He didn't want to spend his last days in hospital or hospice. At home, we had to buy a special 3-layer mattress (NASA technology) for him which helped him sleep more comfortably... but consistent everyday massage I've 'applied' on all his body helped him to sleep better and prevented the bedsores... He used to say: A shower is one of the reason to live and be happy, and enjoy the day... But when he couldn't move anymore, we cannot have this pleasure of a real! everyday shower. He had to be washed in the bed... but every three days we "committed" an heroic task of having a 10 minutes shower which took us almost one hour (getting to the shower and back)...

"Isn't it grand? to have a shower" - just to paraphrase my beloved Kurt Vonnegut...

Let's us learn to count our Blessings....

Bless you for saying much of what needs to be said. I'm sorry for your father, and know how you feel because I went through hell trying to get care for my mother-in-law in New Orleans, who had a stroke a day before her health insurance carrier, OATH, went bankrupt, leaving her stranded with no care. I am Canadian, married to an American whose primary residence is Canada though I live in Florida half the year. The U.S. medical system still managed to screw us out of most of our equity and savings, taking us to the brink of insolvency as we paid for mother's care for almost a decade -- even though we lived in Canada. As for President Obama -- it just goes to show you what sheep the people can be, to go from adoration and acclaim, to accusations and ridicule in less than a year. And yes -- as you say, led by blowhards who earn magnificent money to pretend to be the mouthpiece of a nation.

I am adding you to my must read list. Keep up the good work.

This is a real reality check. Here in the UK it will be Remembrance Sunday this weekend. Personally I find it very sad that 64 years after the end of WWII we find ourselves remembering the dead of conflicts that are still being fought. There are still young men coming back in coffins, and there are still soldiers being injured and maimed for life. When will we ever learn?

I'm so sorry to hear about your father. Whoever decided that financial considerations take precedence over the basic care of a sick man needs to question their ethics.
