The Struggle of the first born

The Struggle of the First Born

Ever since the fall of God’s first earthly creation, Adam, the enemy as made it his sole intent to establish and solidify a curse on the first born.

Satan as targeted the first born of man because he realizes the position and authority that was given to the first born. But with position and authority comes responsibility and this is where the enemy tries to gain a foothold in his attempt at man's destruction.

Adam was the "first born" of whom God had commanded him to take dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air and every living thing that moveth upon the earth. He was king and his kingdom was everything and everywhere upon the earth.

Another "first born" was Lucifer, a cherub, who after iniquity was found in him was given the name Satan. He typically, was the “first born” among the angels in heaven but lost his position as anointed Cherub that covereth (Ezek.29:14) when he was overcome with pride and sinned against his Creator when he foolishly tried to exalt himself above the stars.

From this point the aggression begins as he became a trafficker in sin. Therefore we have the first cherub that had been cast out of heaven coming against the 1st man created on earth that was given divine authority and to take dominion over all the earth.

Jesus said in Luke 10, that He beheld Satan as lightening fall from heaven.

As the “first born” of God’s angels, Lucifer had led the worship before God’s majestic throne; he was first in beauty, God doing excellent workmanship as He prepared pipes and tabrets in him the day he was created.

He was first in wisdom but with his prestigious position came pride that caused him to loose focus and be forever stripped of his position.

Ezekiel 28:15 says,Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. (KJV)

When iniquity was found in Lucifer, God discontinued his assignments and he fell from heaven, as lightening to take up illegal residence on the earth.

We go over to Isaiah 14 and learn of the discontinuation of his assignments.

Isaiah 14:12 (KJV) says,

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

And so, we see that now he as been given a new name with a self imposed ministry of accusing the saints of God. Under his new name he as made it his avowed intent, to hinder the growth of the first born who has been given authority to take dominion over the earth.

His weapons against "Adam", the first born of God is the lust of the eyes, the pride of life and the lust of the flesh. These are his weapons to achieve destruction but God already had a plan and the first begotten from the dead makes an end to satanic schemes and grant "Adam" eternal redemption of all sins.

Hence we see the power of the 2nd Adam even before the crucifixion. For in Luke 10 that the Lord in His mission of restoration of fallen man, looked out on the fields at harvest time as if they were the lost generation he was sent to restore.

Symbolically, He looked at the fields as an “Adamic” generation, God’s fallen children that he was sent to retrieve by affording them another kingdom, the kingdom of Heaven. This kingdom would have absolute power and authority over that which Satan had illegally taken.

And so we see Jesus sending out his disciples to gather his lost sons whom Satan had deceived.

  • Man’s history as yet to present a more uneven exchange apart from that of Christ!

Now the first born of man was favored by the Almighty and shown mercy, as God stretches out his hand of reconciliation and whosoever is willing to receive by faith, can walk into that grace.

The Harvest

The harvest is plenteous but the laborers are few - Here we see Jesus speaking of the souls that were fallen out of grace as “the harvest” and the ones who have come into their “first born”, who have recognized their status as sons, now choosing to work as “labourers”.

God’s labourers are the ones who have been;

  1. Washed with the blood the ones
  2. Who have acknowledged that they have made divine contact; practicing the presence of the Lord through prayer and supplication
  3. Who has been broken, the ones who have gone through circumcision so that the head is fully visible

The reason why Evangelists and other of administrational ministers will not go into the harvest is because their “will” have not been broken.

But the struggle of the first born will be continual until the earth draws her screen and its time for the sons to go home, whether to a celestial home or as promised to them who refused the call of salvation, to a burning hell. It is now time for the inhabitants of the earth to choose and make sure that you are on the right side of the fence.
