The Truth Behind why Americans Do not Stand up Against Authorities and Government

Updated on June 14, 2014

A Bit of History

There is much confusion between American Citizens as to why America me came about. Ask anybody I bet the answers are as many as there are stars in the sky. I remember in school being taught that Christopher Columbus stumbled on this land because he was seeking to prove the world was flat. Latter it was so he could find the Spice Islands. I know now that in Christopher's day they had already had a globe for nearly seventy-five years excluding flatness as a reason for his journey.

The truth is the people were tired of being controlled by a dictator and were seeking any way possible to get out from under Great Britain's rule. As soon as this land was discovered it did not take long for everyday ordinary people to hop ship and come running seeking freedom. America was a great place, you were free to do as you wanted and the biggest problem was the Native Americans.

For several years people enjoyed the freedom of believing in God how ever they choose, living how they choose and doing what they wanted with their money. They lived under governments which mimicked the government of Great Briton while they we still colonies. The revolutionary war of 1775-1783 changed all of that forever. The people fought Great Briton for there independence until Briton finally gave in 1783. The people chose to become a Union of people Hence the United States of America. When the U.S. Constitution was finally ratified in 1789 the end of individualized colonies and the birth of the United States began.

The people of our land felt we needed to be governed with with one common law throughout the land. This was to be the Supreme law for every State in the Union. It was important that this law was written in a way that would always give the people o the land control and power over the government. It was written to keep the government from becoming a tyrant like many other governments throughout history. This Supreme law was called the Constitution.

After the Constitution was implemented in 1789 James Madison sent a copy of this document to Thomas Jefferson who was living in France at the time for his opinion. Jefferson, after reading it seen that there were some basic God Given Rights which were not addressed in the document and he drafted the the first ten Amendments for the constitution. These Amendments have now become known as the Bill of Rights.

The Constitution was designed in a way that the people could change it for the betterment of the people as time goes on, but the Bill of Rights were meant to be unscathed or changed, after all these are God given rights for those who believe in a God.

Losing Your Freedom

All good things come to an end.

Every since our forefathers instituted the Constitution i would seem as the government has been trying to find more and more was to control the people and get more money from us. What better way fro them to do so than to break down and destroy our Constitution. Today's government has to be the worst out of all of them in the past.

The government forces us to buy products and services from private corporations. They tax us on the money we earn then tax us as we spend it. They make divisions for us that should be an individuals choice, and most of all they take away the very rights they were said to be inalienable in the Bill of Right. While they do all of this all of the sheep like people duck their heads and believe this is how it has to be.

People are put into prisons and jailed for even things that grow on this planet, We are fined for just about everything and anything so the government can get more money, and the government keeps us busy worrying about petty things like race issues, money issues, gender issues. Truth is we are so blinded by the issues we don't even see that the government is taking away all of our freedoms. People have their head in their Blackberry and tablets more concerned with social networks and statuses to care about politics and government. Maybe it is because so many people have been taught that two thing we are not to talk about are religion and politics. Who knows? What I do know is the lack of concern is making this country no better than the USSR under Hitler.

They have been doing it for years

A true story.

Jut the other day I was driving down the road with my children in the car. I have a valid licence and was not breaking any laws. My children were all buckled up and everything was legal. I was pulled over by the city police of Newport, Tennessee. I could not for the life of me thing of a good reason I was getting pulled over. Two officers, one male and one female approach the car. The officer asked to see my driver's license, and I remembered our Constitution.

The 6th Amendment states: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." ( http://www.earlyamerica.com/earlyamerica/freedom/bill/text.html)

Bearing this in mind I asked the officer who was asking for my license, " What was his probable cause for stopping me?". He replied that his partner "which was attempting to question my minor children at the other window", believed my children might not be secured in their seat belts. so I asked the officer if now that they have seen the children buckled up, if he still believed that they are not properly restrained. The officer replied no sir. I asked am I free to go? He replied can I see your license. I asked what is your probable cause for requesting my license, and again he stated that they stopped me thinking my children were not properly secured in seat-belts. I told the officer that according to the Constitution of the United States of America he had no rights to see my license without a warrant of probable cause signed by a judge specifying what is to be searched or seized, without probable cause. The officer said his probable cause was believing my children were unsecured in the vehicle. I explained to the officer, that his probable cause for the stop was his belief that my children were not in seat belts, however the moment he got to the car and discovered that they were secured that his probable cause just went down the toilet and asked if I was free to go.

This argument lasted nearly twenty minutes, at which time simply because I had things to do and he was getting out of had placing his hand on his gun and making threats of taking me to jail, I gave in and gave him my license. I then over heard the other officer at my children's window asking my children if I was their real daddy? I went off and after a few good curse words I commanded her to step away from my children and my car. I was given back my license and sent on my way without any tickets.

When I was finished running my errands, I decided to complain to the police chief, that his officers who swore an oath to uphold and protect out great constitution, instead used threats and intimidation to force me to give them my license, which violates the Constitution. The administrative officer laughed at me and told me to go see the FBI and report a conspiracy.

The very next day around lunch time the police along with a member of the Department of Children's Services was standing at my door. Claiming that an anonymous tip was called in and they were their to investigate the safety of my children. They made it clear that the tip was called in the day before, and that the "person" who called in did not know my children.s names just my name and my address. I found this to be very funny, because the day before, while I was being harassed by the police, m children would not talk to the officer questioning them, not even telling them their names. Also that no one we know knew that my little girl had burnt her face a few days back, and now the police and DCS are here at my home not knowing the names of my children only that one of them had burns on her face.

Of course DCS could not find anything wrong and closed the case faster than they opened it. America it is the principle behind it all. Stand up for your Rights and Freedoms and they will try their best to knock you down.

Lossing our freedom

The U.S.Constitution broken

We have this wonderful Constitution which grants us Rights and Freedoms that our forefathers believed to be God given. The right to have and bear arms. This right does not say unless your a felon or convicted of domestic violence, it says we have the right to have and bear arms. The right to not have our person's, property, or documents searched or seized without a written warrant, it does not say unless the police want to. The right to speak freely, it does not say unless you offend people. The right to freedom of religion, it does not say unless you do not worship the God they believe in or how they worship.

Try and go against the system, and stand up for your rights. Stand Up for the Constitution. They will harass you, and even try to take away your kids because you do not conform. You are a rebel and even though our great country was created by rebels it is a crime to be one against them.Either voluntarily give up your Rights and Freedom or they will take them. We are no longer free.

We have been warned

Our government is getting out of hand. It would seem that if anyone disagrees with the laws in place, they face going to jail or loosing their children. It drives me crazy to know we have a US and State Constitutions which describe our rights and freedoms to the tee, and people allow the government interpret this to mean what ever they choose, and people stand by and let this happen. I was in a conversation with another fellow on his post and it was clear that he believes in the laws over the constitution. Many people are just as blind. Out of the millions of people on earth only a hand-full of them are actually bad. Some may not do things as you or I might but that does not make them bad. I believe that you can not take away the freedoms of the good to stop the crimes of the bad, in doing so you in-tun cause the authority's to have have to much control.

That is really bad and it seems things like this only happen to people who are not up to anything. I reported my grandson and his two brothers who are not my grandsons being picked on by their mother's boyfriend and his friend and one of his little brother's ears was cut with a knife and they went to question them and of course their mother has threatened them (she also use to have an uncle high up in the police force) so they did nothing and even calling a hot line got no results. If I had it to do over again I would have pushed it and sued cause my grandson did not and would not lie to me and their lives could have been in danger and no one would do anything. Even the daycare they went to was suspicious that I talked to but I guess no police talked to them.

Sorry to put another hub here but it is so wrong the way they do and make us feel walked all over and I hope you do sue. They had no right doing you that way and intimidating your children. They should have to apologize at the very least.

I have let the thought cross my mind to sue, but I would gain greater pleasure out of ascertaining support and followers to fight the legal battle and change our government and once again someday have a Constitutional Republic which our forefathers intended. If you enjoyed this article I did another piece with much more detail as to the unconstitutionality of our government http://stferg7081.blogspot.com/

We are in a constant battle for our liberty. The Founders understood this. It would be nice if our government understood its limitations. I loudly applaud your opposition to an unwarranted police stop. Once it was ascertained that no violation existed the officer should have let you go.

It is pure laziness on the part of LEOs and our busy, busy lives that encourages our compliance and their interference. If you were the litigious type, you could have sued.

It is long past time for government - state, local and federal(but especially federal) - be brought to heal.

The first globe is believed to have been made by Crates of Mallus, a Greek man, in 140 B.C. However, the geographical globe would not have resembled anything like the globes we see today, because the people of that era knew little about the rest of Earth's geography. The oldest globe that still exists was built in 1492 by Martin Behaim, a German cartographer.

this still shows that maybe not with as much detail globes have been around much longer the Columbus
