The Year Was 2008...
From "Hope" To Hypocrisy! But He Promised...
No Record To Run On...
More and more as I hear Obama on the stump he sounds either like a carnival barker or a snake oil salesman. Fiery rhetoric should now be recognized for what it is - rhetoric - and not necessarily the truth in Oblamer's case. There is now a wealth of video and audio recordings concerning Obama which obviously weren't available when he was peddling the 2008 Snake Oil called "hope and change." He said quite a few things back then and as the Democratic National Convention opens I went back into the archives and retrieved one of the most telling videos about just where Obama is now coming from. You see my fellow Americans at the time he was making these statements he must have fast forwarded to his re-election campaign to lay out his tactics. He has his operatives at full throttle to fulfill the prophesy of the statements found in this video.
Obama is definitely a study in how to move from "hope" to hypocrisy. It's okay if you believed at that time. But please don't appear to be stupid enough to be fooled again. The nation is on the wrong course and more people see it every day. It's time to make some changes for certain. Obama and the US Senate need new diapers. I have had enough of both Obama and Harry Reid to last me for the rest of my life.
His Words Coming Back Once Again...
Obama is definitely different. He was the perfect Manchurian candidate who came out of nowhere without sufficient explanation of how he arrived there. Obama is a smart aleck and I also have a problem with the President of the United States being a wise ass. It seem a bit undignified to me and some find it amusing at his campaign rallies but it is no more than a substitute to deflect any attention to his failure as a leader. I said it 2008 and I'll say it again now. I based my observation in 2008 upon research and not emotion. Barack Hussein Obama is not qualified, nor experienced enough, to lead this nation. Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden said the same exact things but for very different reasons maybe.
Let me address the "fresh ideas" statement he made back in 2008. Since this is about the economy, and his failure to adequately address that, what he did is inexcusable. The last person to try this stunt was Jimmie Carter and the results should have been expected. The economists that Obama brought into office with him were disciples of Keynesian economics. I'm not here to give you a course about it but can only say, having studied economics, that it is a failed theory and not at all acceptable to adaptation in a free market economy. That's a known fact. So his "fresh idea" of economics on the national level isn't fresh at all. It is stale and misguided.
Take a look at another video as we continue. Many of us lived through James Earle Carter. Many of you young people have no idea of the malaise that we had to correct.
A Striking Comparison Between Two Failures
So as you watch the Democratic National Convention, and listen to the speakers including Obama, I would like for you to remember his words in the first video. He said those things back in 2008 and we're seeing those things as he campaigns for reelection in 2012. Is that what we should expect from anyone who claims he has the ability to run the most powerful nation on earth? Is the divisiveness good for this nation? One of the more telling questions is, "Suppose he is reelected using the tactics of division we are seeing. How effectively can anyone lead a divided nation where you have pitted citizen against citizen?" How credible are you after doing that?
In a nut shell here's what we're seeing and I expect more as the DNC convnes:
- "Because if you don't have an fresh ideas, then you use stale tactics to scare voters."
- "If you don't have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from."
- "You make a big election out of small things."
When Forward Looks Backward
I'm not sure exactly what Bill Clinton is going to say when he speaks, nor do I really care. Obama is no Bill Clinton. Clinton had to have the light come on back in 1994. It was the same light that should have come on for Obama after the 2010 election results but he failed to see that light. He continued to move even further to the progressive left wing of his party because he is a strict, inflexible ideologue Clinton moved back to the center to save himself politically. Like I said, "Obama is no Bill Clinton." Any comparison of what Clinton accomplished and Obama has not accomplished should be noted. Clinton had a Republican Congress he had to deal with and he did so. I have to seriously question reelecting an ineffective leader like Obama based upon the star quality Bill Clinton had about 20 years ago. I remember that Presidency vividly too.
The petty insults coming out of Obama's mouth out there on the campaign trail I hope aren't being lost on those listening, though I think they are since the people are there listening to him in the first place. It seems that he is the carnival barker on the stump out there to entertain the mindless. Yesterday I wrote of his "secret sauce" recipe remarks in Iowa. Somehow Obama, in his training as a community organizer, never quite understood that leadership is a horse of a different color. The secret sauce that speaker after speaker at the Republican National Convention continually spoke about was "LEADERSHIP." That is what was not brought into office with Barack Obama because leaders aren't born, leaders are made through leadership expereince. That's the secret Obama - no more and no less.
There is no substitute for leadership. You can become O-blameo but that isn't leading.
Lets Close With A Song :)
The majority of people in this nation continue to say that we're on the wrong course. So how about joining the movement and help those of us who know we're in deep debt and fiscally sinking in correcting what needs to be corrected. The present inhabitant of The People's House knows exactly how to spend our tax dollars and have nothing to show for it. He has increased our national debt by over $5 trillion in less than one term.
Enough is enough. Obama has got to go.
