The best part of my life

When I die I would like to be able to say that the best part of my life was how I treated others. I feel that it is important to treat other people exactly how you would like to be treated. I want to give that person who just gave me a bad look a smile in return. Smiles sure do brighten my day. I want to spread my smiles around wherever I go. I want to give away smiles freely without the expectation that I will get one in return.

I would like for people to remember me as someone who always spoke kind words no matter what the circumstances were. It is best to say words that you would like for others to say back to you. Your words have power. They can build someone up or tear them down. I would like to die knowing that I chose my words wisely. I am a firm believer in the old adage what goes around comes around. I do think that what you say to others will eventually get returned back to you. It is my belief that Karma does exist. She is alive and well my friends!

Talking about other people is just bad business. Spreading rumors only leads to troubles down the road. Why not talk about current events, the weather, a favorite television show, or a good book that you just read? Rumors only serve to hurt people and their feelings as well. Rumors also have a way of getting twisted and turned around. The things that you tell one person can end up being something totally different by the time it travels through multiple mouths.

We are only given a certain amount of time on this earth. It is your decision about how you are going to spend that time. You have choices to make in life. You can choose to be mean to people or you can choose to be nice. That is a decision that everyone must make on their own. I would like to die knowing that I made a conscious effort on a daily basis to be nice to everyone who I meet.

I think that everyone has a legacy to leave behind when they die. I want my legacy to be an inspiring one. I want to inspire other people to do great things through the life that I lived. No one is perfect, however, we can all strive for perfectionism. There is a saying that I love that goes something to the effect of shoot for the moon because even if you miss you will land among the stars. Always aim to be the best in everything that you do. This is what I strive to do each and every day when I wake up in the morning.

We are all destined to do great things. What we do with our destiny ultimately lies within the choices that we make as individuals. Make your choices wisely. We are the controller of our future. If you do not like the way that your future looks take steps to make it look the way you want it to look.
