Democrats Vowed to Substantially Increase Taxes. Why Did You Vote for Them in 2018? [F1 708]
The democrats want to increase Taxes for the US Taxpayers
California and the democrat monopoly have shown the rest of the country how they can raise state taxes, create news taxes, and fees. California is the model for how the democrats want to raise federal taxes.
Democrats for the Poor, and Republicans for the Rich
The democrats have been seen by the older generations for the last one hundred years as the party that is for the poor, while the republicans have been the party for the rich.
But that is legend, a myth, a con as both parties don't really care about the people except to get their vote. It is the way that they get their votes that is the foundation of their legend. The democrat favor the poor because they can addict them to welfare, and other government give away program. The republicans attract the non poor voters with trying to improve the economy, and as the economy is big business, as well as business in general they focus on those programs.
Votes Gives a Party Power
Once again, both parties use their focus to get votes, and therefore get power. It has never been about the people or the country, it is only about how groups of politicians can get the voter to give them the power.
The democrats try to steal votes from the republicans by claiming they are giving the rich tax advantages. The democrats then try to get the rich by increasing their marginal tax rate. This is only a for show tactic as neither the rich democrats nor the rich republicans are really adversely affected by this tactic. These marginal tax rates principally adversely effect the wage earners, and the rich don't get their income by working for wages.
California has the most regulations on business and high California income tax and this year they just increased the gasoline taxes, and the fees to register vehicles. Now the latter has its most damaging effect on the poor people that need their vehicles to get to their lower paying jobs. When the democrats in California swing the tax axe they don't seem to care about the rich, they only care about getting the revenue.
While the democrat politicians in the United States Congress claim that they want to do what Trump didn't do for taxing the rich. So they vow when they regain control in congress they will substantially raise all the taxes across the taxpayers.
Why would any voter knowingly and voluntarily put the democrats in control of the United States Congress to do that to their taxes? How does raising the taxes on everyone deal with the unequal distribution of wealth in the country? It doesn't, but doing the illogical is the path taken by the democrats.
Healthcare Issue was Pre Existing Conditions
The most significant single issue in healthcare insurance the year that Barack Obama was elected president was "Pre Existing Conditions". They could have passed any legislation that they wanted to in 2009-2011, yet they chose to tear down the existing healthcare infrastructure. Obamacare would be rolled out in 2011 but it would take over a decade for it to be fully implemented. Even during the second term of president Obama, the ACA was in trouble and it was still in trouble when the democrats in congress refuse to help president Trump and the republicans replace it with a better system.
If the democrats in 2009 had passed legislation that was only a single part of Obamacare, that of pre existing conditions, it could have been implemented immediately and with only the positive impact to those people that had been denied healthcare because of preexisting conditions.

Obamacare and Income Tax under the Democrats.
The reason that I digressed to the Obamacare is to show that while they talked about it as being the solution to healthcare, it turned out to be a nightmare to implement. It took too long to get rolled out, and it didn't cover all the people that it claimed for it. It also raised the prices for healthcare because the insurance companies had a pool of people that had to buy insurance under Obamacare.
The real reason for the Obamacare was not to restructure the healthcare industry for the benefit of the people, but it would be stage one for their ultimate plan of single payer, government takeover of the industry.
In the Obamacare, there were tens of millions of young people that couldn't afford the insurance, so they extended their parents coverage till they were twenty six years old. And if they couldn't stay on their parents coverage, they didn't want to buy the Obamacare and many would opt to just pay the no insurance tax.
Obamacare failed to give everyone affordable coverage, and people that liked their existing healthcare coverage and their doctors lost it under the Obamacare structure.
Suffice it to say, their handling of the healthcare for the country is much like their ideas of how to tax the country.
How Many Ways Can The Government Tax The People?
US democrats in congress want to TAX
Yes that title was a complete thought because the democrats in the US congress have no boundaries on what they tax, especially for Income Tax.
They say they want their power back in the US congress in 2018 and their president in the White House in 2021. Today the US economy, jobs, unemployment and trade are doing well, so why does anyone want to change that winning streak.
The answer is simple, the democrats want their power back, and taxes seem to be their main election campaign tactic. They claim that president Trump gave the corporations and the rich a tax break. That is true, but that tax break stimulated the economy, and its growth. It also was responsible for the new jobs, and low unemployment and tied together with president Trump getting the US out of the one sided trade agreements around the world brought back companies and jobs lost by the previous governments.
How does taxing everyone substantially make any sense, but that is what the democrats are playing for the preelection campaigning. If the voters fall for this they can kiss their current prosperity into the backseat hidden somewhere out of reach.
President Trump this month proposed a tax plan that would be targeting lowering the taxes on only the middle income people. Yet, the democrats think that is a bad idea?
The real problem of tax in the US
sadly, not even president Trump has addressed the real problem with the US Income Tax. That problem is that it can never tax the rich even proportionately as it taxes the middle income people, much less tax it more.
The rich have a protection that is exclusive to them but technically available to anyone. That protection is found in the Internal Revenue Code.
""The Internal Revenue Code and regulations now come in at one million words and 9000 pages." U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (R-MO) "The Bible, the guide of our lives, is 1,291 pages and contains 774,746 words."
The real proof of what I said about the rich being bullet proof on income taxes can be answered by you find how many of these one million words can be used by you when making out your 1040 Income Tax. Then try and figure out how many of those 9000 pages were written for the benefit of the rich.
You as the average middle class taxpayer have the Internal Revenue Code to guide your filing of your income tax, but you will find it difficult to apply any of the tax deferments, avoidance, or any reduction in your tax liability. The reason is that the Internal Revenue Code was written by congress to help the rich not tax the rich.
Sure, congress tells you that they want to have the rich pay their fair share, and to prove it they apply higher marginal tax rates on them, and in some years that was as high as 90%.
The 1986 Republican president Ronald Reagan gave us the 1986 Tax Reform Act that was two fold.
1. Taxes would be reduced.
2. Some Tax Deductions will no longer be available to the middle income tax payers.
This hurt us more than you can imagine, because, the Taxes that were reduced came back in just a few years, while the tax deductions never came back. Among them was the deduction for credit card interests. This was a big one, especially when some credit cards have interest rates as high as thirty percent, which is three time that of the ten percent usury law. And not to far behind the loan sharks.
BTW, the credit card companies got by the usury law of ten percent maximum. Ask me in the comments how they did that.
The simple answer why the rich get richer and the rest of us get taxed more and more
The answer is simple = Internal Revenue Code
The difference between the rich and the middle income people in the US is how they make their money.
The rich own companies, they own stock and both of these have many pages in the Internal Revenue Code to not only keep much of their money but to be able to multiply their wealth. Since the 2008 US economic failure look at how much more Bill Gates is worth today. How could you as a wage earner make that kind of increase in your wealth. The vig from the taxes you would have to pay from any increase in your salary would alone prevent it.
It is true that the 10% pay 90% of all the US Income Tax. But the real story is that 90% is only a small fraction of what they should pay if they didn't have the Internal Revenue Code to keep much of their profits.
