They Are the Saddest
They are like barking dogs.
Unfortunately I know many people like this.
Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. Romans 1:29-31 New International Version
Unfortunately I know many people like this. They are very narcissistic (self centered). They lie, cheat, connive, deceive and manipulate. They will do anything to everyone to get what they want. They don’t care who they hurt, even if it is their parents or brothers or sisters.
The sad thing is they in turn can’t trust anyone. They have no one to share their sorrows, worries and pain with. Because, the other people will be like sharks in the water sensing blood. They will circle around them to see how they can be taken advantage of.
I live in a society like that can tell you, they are the saddest people I have ever met. There is no love in their lives and they are empty shells of creatures. The sad thing is, when you explain it to them they are proud to be that way. When you try to explain to them patience, gentleness, charity, repentance and forgiveness they laugh at you. They consider this weakness waiting for the sharks to attack. They believe honesty and respect is for fools. Yet the saddest thing is that in refusing to live a life of respect, patience, gentleness and caring they are empty shell of people.
Prayer: Oh Jehovah Elhim (God our Eternal Creator) it breaks my heart to see so many self centered people today. Please open their hearts to accept You as their rightful King and God. Please open the eyes and hearts of ___ (come on we all know someone who needs this prayer. Mention their names, no matter how bad they have treated you) In the name of the greatest doctor of all Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day
