China..Invented Ketchup

Ketchup actually originated in China and it is a sauce that comes from fermented fish. China mixed fish and certain spices to come up with America's favorite condiment. The sauce went from China to England who in turn introduced it as ketchup in the United States. The earliest use of this fish sauce now called ketchup dated to the early 17th century and in parts of China it is still used with pickled fish while some parts use it for ketchup on fries. China uses Geese instead of police dogs in many parts of China including parts of Xinjiang province. The idea is they have excellent hearing, can see well and they can be trained to attack and man, they will fight. Dogs are still employed by the law but mainly for sniffing out drugs and such. Geese can be trained easily and a gaggle of geese can swiftly take down home intruders or criminals trying to get away from authorities.

In some areas of South-eastern China eating domestic cats is normal. The folks that eat cats do not eat the head. The testicles, intestines and stomach are eaten as a main dish while the thighs are made into meatballs for restaurant sale. Some people, possibly homeless, eat felines as food only in the toughest of times when they have no other choice. From my understanding, cat meat is not served in the cities where visitors travel to but rather in small towns.
