Things on My Mind

Updated on November 18, 2011

Is it just me or does it seem that human beings are lost in their trek through life. We all do our own thing .but never really stop to think why we are doing something or how it is affect others. It seems that we as human beings don't even stop to think how we are affected by others. When I say others I mean literally anything. Our sociological situation continues its turbulent voyage through history, without any certainty of the future. Do we have a vision? I do. Protests are going on all over the world. We are seeing police brutality as a result. Why is this? We as a species should be working together to develop a way of living that allows everyone equal opportunity. People all over the world are starving because our society goes about producing food and deciding who gets the food in an inefficient and unfair manner. Those who are born into a family with money will reap the benefits of being wealthy simply because of their arbitrary circumstance. Is this the best we can do as human beings? I would like for the readers of this hub to take from this a new level of awareness towards the cause and effect of your behavior. It is common for people to say that we live in a crazy world, but we must realize that we are a part of that crazy world and maybe we are partly to blame. Be the change that you would like to see in the world and maybe we will start to see some change. It just seems that we could be the cause of our own extinction if we don't do something. I would love to hear your thoughts. Please comment.. Writing this hub is one of my ways of making change by challenging you the reader to make a positive change. Hopefully we will see a snowball effect...

Will technology ever completely free humans beings?

That is very true. We as individuals make up a part of this world and make it what it is. We all have an impact.

Each one of is insignificant in the great scheme of things yet at the same time vital. We all matter. Cause and effect surrounds us all the time. Currently the world seems to be full of protest and hate which is sad, That is unless change for the better is achieved. You can only hope however idealist it is. Hope that makes some sense
