Critical Eyewitness Account

Both sides of the isle are being furthered divided in this crazy killing. Now, new evidence is out that supports George Zimmerman's account as to what happened at the confrontation. The naysayers of the Martin claim none of it would not have happened had Mr. Z not profiled and stalked this 6 ft. 2 " 17 yr. old wearing a hoodie to keep dry from the rain. This is countered by Zimmerman's supporters who state, well, had Trayvon not attack Zimmerman after the two were face to face, none of this would have happened. Trayvon would be eating his skittles and bragging as past Twitter and FB accounts have shown.

The new evidence, released by ABC news, shows a bloody head of George Zimmerman, exactly has he claimed. The photo was taken three minutes after the killing. The eyewitness said he could see the gunfire residue on Trayvon's clothes, indicating the gun was fired at VERY close range, obviously, during a struggle. The mortuary where Trayvon laid, indicated he suffered no otherwise signs of trauma. This supports the argument that Trayvon, after the two met, was the aggressor initially. Zimmerman's head wound might be from a blow to the back of his head because Zimmerman has said that after the face to face, he turned to walk away.

If Zimmerman is found innocent of murder or manslaughter (accidental killing), will the black community accept it and apologize to Zimmerman, will they create more racial divide because they did not get the verdict they wanted? Will they claim, it is the fault of the "white man's law"? Will more radical elements seek to murder Zimmerman one day, months from now?

      interesting hub perrya,

I think people will accept the verdict which ever way it goes. Everyone wants to see what really happened in this tragic case. I must admit I disagree with you that trayvon was the aggressor. He was running away from Zimmerman. This evidence is on the 911 call Zimmerman made to police. Why would he then turn around and attack him. If someone followed you in a car and then got out and started chasing you and you ran away from them, would you then go back and confront them? that makes no sense. No one would do that. plus voice experts concluded that Zimmerman was not the person screaming for help on the 911 tapes. If Zimmerman is innocent of this horrible crime, he will have a uphill battle to fight. There is alot of damanging evidence against him. I think you got it wrong sir. I believe it was the kid who was acting in self defense not the guy with the loaded gun but then again, I could be wrong. One last point, race shouldn't matter in this tragedy. Right or wrong in my opinion is the true moral of the story. (lol) thanks for sharing.

      Best C

If Zimmerman is found not guilty, you can bet it will be used as an excuse for rioting in the streets, shop owners burned out of their businesses, and people yanked out of their cars and stoned.

It seems that every day there is new evidence that proves one side or the other...I guess the only ones who will really know exactly what happened except Mr. Zimmerman and Mr. Martin...and Mr. Martin can no longer tell his side...hopefully the honest truth will come out at the trial and true justice will be served - whichever way it turns out...
