Tis the Season....For New Beginnings and for Making America Great...Again!
I wasn't looking for Trump's speech, (I didn't even know there was a 'Thank You America' tour planned, but I sure like the idea of it), just happened upon its kick-off, while scrolling through, looking for Christmas movies to watch.
The speech grabbed my attention and so I began watching, for almost an hour I watched. Although it cut into my Classic Christmas movie watching time, the speech did not disappoint, I was truly impressed.
Trump wasn't only giving thanks to the voting public, he was laying out what will be taking place in time, as Agenda Make America Great Again commences. Commencement is already underway in Indiana, the Carrier Plant will not be moving Lock, Stock and Barrel to Mexico. While many job opportunities will still be leaving for Mexico, and while one job leaving America is still too many, over one thousand people will be keeping their jobs and remain employed throughout the Holidays and beyond...here, in the good ole U.S. of A and that makes me very happy for them!
It should make all Americans happy any time positive things happen for fellow Americans in any American city or town.
Trump was relaxed, poised and on point.
Trump was Presidential!
It was refreshing, after seeing so much negativity in print and in social media, television, etc., after witnessing the foolish taking of a knee during the National Anthem or witnessing the foolish burning of the American flag.
After seeing a certain College, namely Hampshire College, remove the American flag over student's hurt feelings? Insecurities? I don't know the reasons, you'd have to ask the person(s) who is consoled and comforted by this radical undertaking. I'll never understand how solace is gained by sending The Star Spangled Banner into College Time-Out for Eternity...buried deep beneath mothballs, down in the dark and dingy confines of the basement of a Building, not just any Building...a supposed place of Higher Learning!
After many years of being called names, for not being a Supporter of Barack Obama or his ultra Liberal agenda, now I am to be lumped into a basket (or was it bucket?) of deplorables, because I did not support Hillary Clinton..... for the same exact reasons!
Hers, an ultra liberal agenda right on par with he, who would have been, her predecessor.
Hillary, with the same color skin as I, so it's a little tricky to continue calling me racist. Hillary, the same gender as I, so sexist is out too...instead, I and every other citizen that wants to see America headed in the complete opposite direction of the direction we've been traveling, are called whatever name is pulled from the deplorable grab bag.
Whatever 'Tweet' or 'News' story prompts the liberal minions to Act Accordingly.
What will the word of the day be for tomorrow or what will the word of the week be next week?
What new Social Cause or Promotion or App will be developed to Protect all of the softies from big bad me, big bad Conservatives/Republicans...from big bad President-Elect Trump?
Refreshing... to see such Pride for this Country on full display during the speech, as opposed to the last several years of Obama doing what Obama does, Simply the Best ... dissing America!
Refreshing...to hear a plan to bring back manufacturing jobs to small town U.S.A. or into struggling inner cities that have been forgotten and/or left behind (except when a Democrat is running for office and desperately needs their vote)
It has taken me time to get to the point of being enthusiastic about our future.
I was initially a critic of Donald Trump, I admit it!
While enthusiastic and encouraged, I still understand that the course ahead is a tough course, there will be many barriers and hurdles to get past and we must be patient.
Greatness will not return overnight!
- Why can't Liberal America ever admit when they are wrong about anything?
- Why can't Liberal America ever think outside their narrow little rectangular boxes?
- With them, it seems to be all about them, their feelings and their need for safe spaces and coddling.
- Are they capable of putting others first...of putting America first?
Liberals, are you?
Having hope is a wonderful thing and this being the Most Wonderful time of the year....there's a lot of wonderful out there to go around.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hannakuh my friends and fellow Americans!
