Toxins- Nail Polish- What Is The Cost Of Good Looking Nails?
Beautiful Nails- What Does It Cost You?
Looks can be a very important aspect of feeling good about ourselves, and for many, a bad hair day can herald a bad day from start to finish, as though the way we look dictates the way we feel. We are sold an image of perfection via the big screen, television, and immaculate photos in magazines, and many of us spend vast amounts of money and time trying to emulate perfection. By chasing the dream, we are tying our self-esteem to a very temporary state of being. In the belief that gorgeous nails, hair or clothes will give us confidence, we do not focus on the important aspects of life that would generate self-esteem if we were to find them- love of self, acceptance of what is, and self-respect.
The sad fact is that the dream that we are chasing is an illusion, and a manufactured one at that. Manufacturers spend enormous sums on advertisements that persuade us that the “new” face cream or “new” hair dye will make us feel youthful, sexy, attractive, and valuable. Ironically, next year, there will be another face cream or hair dye that will be the same but different, which we will be persuaded we absolutely need to feel acceptable and beautiful.
Women especially are encouraged to look their best at all times, regardless of how they feel and what is occurring in their lives. Although we are seeing that men are starting to follow suit in this respect to some degree, women have been sold the idea for centuries that they had better look good, as they really do not have much else going for them.
Thankfully, this is changing as women everywhere are beginning to step into their power and understand the powerful and important role that they play in society. However, even as we stand up for ourselves, we are still prone to trying to look good as deep within us, we have been programmed to be beautiful and pleasing.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with making the best of yourself, and displaying your natural beauty, kindness and compassion. Indeed, throughout the animal, bird, and cetacean kingdoms, the displaying of your best attributes is an integral part of the mating game, and for us humans, we generally feel more confident when we have made an effort with how we look.
One aspect of looking good and feeling good is about what is going on inside the body, and not so much about what you add to beautify yourself. If you are healthy, and exercise, and eat good food, you will radiate good health and probably naturally look a lot younger than someone who does not take care of themselves and is unhealthy.
Painting our nails has become an art form with a multitude of different colours, sparkles to glue on, patterns to paint on and much more besides. Having nice nails is sold to us as being sexy, suggests that the wearer takes good care of themselves, and can finish off an outfit with flair and style. It can cheer us up when we are down, and can bring colour to an otherwise bland day.
What is the cost of beautiful nails?

Looking good is a by product for self-esteem, and this is turn is a fundamental necessity to all. In essence, the reason for sharing this information is so that you can make an educated decision for yourself. Some of the products used in the manufacture of nail products are poisonous to humans. Many of them have side effects that make us ill. When you consider that you paint these chemicals onto a porous surface, this means that the toxins are absorbed directly into the blood stream through the nail.
There are alternatives on the market that do not use these chemicals in the manufacturing process. They tend to be more expensive, but they are available on the internet and in reputable organic and health food stores. The irony is that you are definitely worth it! Again, the choices that we make really do contribute to the state of our health, which in turn, contributes to how we look and feel.
How Can You Remove The Toxins Already Accumulated In Your Body?
With the advent of activated liquid zeolite, we are being offered the opportunity to detox at a cellular level for the first time.
Stewart A. Lonky M.D., said “Because chemical and toxin exposures are impossible to avoid, and because the accumulation of these toxins definitely have health consequences, I believe that the use of a chelating and detoxifying agent such as activated liquid zeolite should be a part of every person’s daily regimen. There is no better gift you can give yourself and your loved ones.”
