Trump's Behavior Today Warrants A Pacifier

We are part of the Resistance. We focus on issues based on Donald Trump and the United States foreign and domestic policy.

Enough of Baby Trump

Today marked a very significant day in American political history. Today was the day that we were able to see the President of the UNITED STATES act like a petulant child on international TV. Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany, came for an official visit to meet Trump. For clarification, I have the utmost respect for Angela Merkel while I do not agree with everything she says. As a politician, she is deserving of respect, cordiality, professionalism, and courtesy. Unfortunately, she did not receive any of that today from Trump. Contrarily, she received a hostile, misogynistic, immature, erratic, sensitive, toddler throwing a tantrum.

First, Trump and his administration have an aversion to speaking to the media. While Trump pretends to be offended by what he deems "fake news", let us not forget that it was that same "fake news" that gave him billions of dollars of free media coverage during the election. The same media that he claims to despise, but watches and comments like a two-year-old every time he doesn't get his pacifier. I, Trump was asked by the media to shake Angela Merkel's hand, he ignored them. Then, in an act of graciousness, Angela Merkel asked Trump if he wanted to shake her hand, and Trump completely ignored her. It was a level of disrespect that I have never seen by a President of the United States, in my entire lifetime.

Please Shut This Man Up

Then, Trump was asked a question by a German reporter about his false claims that President Obama wiretapped him; and about his press secretary, Sean Spicer alleging that the British intelligence had surveilled Trump at the behest of Obama. Like the pettish child he is, Trump made an alarming remark. He alleged that Merkel and him had something in common because they both were allegedly wiretapped by the Obama administration. It should not have to be noted that Trump literally undermined the United States intelligence community, the British intelligence community, President Obama, and Chancellor Merkel with that one statement alone. He reiterated a falsity that President Obama had wiretapped him and Angela Merkel, a claim that has been debunked repeatedly. Irrespective of the fallaciousness of his statements and the repeated failure to provide proof of his claims, he continues to accuse President Obama of wiretapping his campaign. He also made claims that we, US, was responsible for infiltrating the private communications of our ally. His comments are so reckless and will likely have consequences for this country.

Trump is unfit to serve as the president of the United States. He does not have the emotional, intellectual, social, mental, and professional maturity to handle the job he was entrusted with. He does not have a mandate but pretends that his election was so monumental that he can bully, intimidate, and abuse anyone and everything he chooses to. I have had enough with this behavior. Children behave the way Trump does; he is cranky, restless, spoiled, self-absorbed, and narcissistic. He abuses the Media, reporters, journalists, Congress, world leaders, countries, women, Muslims, minorities, the courts, and any institution or person that interferes with his bottom line - him, money and greed.

After today, there should no longer be any dispute about whether or not Trump should be removed from office. He should be given a pacifier, a blankie, and a bottle and call it a wrap! Time to let Trump take a baby nap and let the grown ups get to work.

Is Trump too immature to be President

The meeting was like watching the German leader coming to visit Hitler. She was probably wondering what she would be forced to watch next. From the foreighn news stand point America lost a lot of credibility in Europe. I would not be surprised if fewer nations visit this year.

I agree with you. It is bad and it is only getting worse. Some of his supporters on HP say that "we should give him a chance" to accomplish his goals. After eight weeks he has been given the chance to act like a mature leader, and that is long enough.

Fantastic! I agree with other you completely. He was originally sent to military school because he allegedly assaulted a teacher. That speaks volumes for his character. And he only became worse from there.
