Trump's Mideast Peace Plan is a Declaration of War

Updated on January 29, 2020

President Trump's long awaited Middle East plan to solve the decades old Israeli-Palestinian problem is pretty much DOA. The master of lies and deception that Trump is, continues in this mode for the Middle East.

The deception cloaked in peace is actually a quiet method in declaring war as some reviewers of the plan have said. This proposal will bring no peace at all because it favors Israel nearly all the way with only modest Palestinian gains. Israel obtains everything it wants and maintains security over it and after the four year time frame has elapsed, a Palestinian state MAY occur IF the Israelis are happy with their security arrangements and how things have gone!

The Palestinians must be on their best behavior and dismantle Hamas, the terrorist organization from Gaza. The capital of Israel will be Jerusalem and the Palestinians will have their capital east of it, not part of it. The lure of $50 billion is just an dangling carrot because countries that have pledged it, may freely change their position as time goes on should the deal be signed. So, that money Trump speaks of, may or may not actually be there after four years.

While the plan ends up being a two state solution, to think the Palestinians would agree to it when they were not even consulted is laughable. Who would enter into a a unilateral agreement without consultation? In effect, Trump and Israel have concocted this one-sided deal that would force Palestinians into a weaker position. They know the Palestinians will never accept this deal but are trying to bully them to do so.

As for Hamas, they would never allow their own destruction, which gets support from Iran. So, that is yet another non-starter. Trump's four year wait period presumes that he will win in 2020, what if he doesn't? A new president would not stand by this lopsided agreement and would void it.

Trump's plan has had only lukewarm responses, which is not good. Most have been bad and for good reason. This whole "Deal of the Century" is just another grandiose fraud from a man who thinks he is a God, or the second coming of Christ. The Bible has warned us that in the End Times, men like Trump will come.

Maybe those times are now beginning.
