Hillary Clinton and the UFO Disclosure Question
The buzz about the possible second Clinton presidency has reached the UFO circles. The rumor is, if elected President of the United States, Hillary Clinton will continue her husband's efforts to gain access to the classified UFO files, and to finally disclose what the government knows about the issue.

If Hillary Clinton was to lift the truth embargo on UFOs, would you be
Could Hillary Clinton Be the Disclosure President?
Admittedly, commitment to transparency is not one of Clinton's many impressive attributes.
While she possesses both professional competency and personal charisma needed for a leader, she will always protect the interests of the powers that be over those of the people.
The UFO disclosure is not in the interests of the American government (as an entity run by various clandestine interest groups), and Hillary isn't exactly a rebel with a cause.
She's also not someone who personifies the ideas of world peace and environmentalism (and no, these are not hippie code words for "I hate America"). As the US senator and the former Secretary of State, she proved to be just another warmonger, like the rest of them.
As for the fact that Hillary Clinton is a woman (allegedly), and therefore warmer and fuzzier than her average male opponents, that's reverse chauvinism. Being a woman doesn't make you better or more qualified to run for office.
Just like if someone is half-black doesn't mean they're going to be any better at resolving the racial inequality issue in America. All presidential candidates promise real change, but most fail to deliver.
Yet...Hope Springs Eternal
Several prominent UFO advocates already threw their support behind Hillary: both Stephen Bassett and Michael Salla spoke out optimistically about Clinton's future efforts:
"I think Hillary would play a positive role in getting this information out. I think that Hillary definitely is much more the pro-disclosure candidate, whereas someone like Jeb Bush is basically status quo."
Their optimism is not entirely unfounded.
Clinton and Rockefeller in 1995
The Clintons and the Rockefeller Initiative 1993-1996
The Clintons always had an avid interest in the subject of UFOs.
In his book "Alien Bedtime Stories" Grant Cameron quotes both Hillary and Bill discussing the possibility of alien life (or alien threat) frequently and passionately. Sure - in a very hypothetical, almost mockingly silly way. Still, the subject seemed to be on their minds often.
Hillary, together with multibillionaire UFO researcher Laurance Rockefeller, was pushing for access to the classified UFO files back in the 1990s: a campaign known as the "Rockefeller Initiative". She even helped Rockefeller draft a letter to the President, advocating for the UFO disclosure.
In 2005, when asked about what he knows on the subject, Bill Clinton admitted that their efforts were not successful:
"I wouldn't be the first American president that underlings have lied to, or that career bureaucrats have waited out."
At one point Clinton even said:
"there’s a government inside the government, and I don’t control it."
Perhaps, the next Clinton president might learn the truth and disclose it to the world. It's a long shot, but lately there's been some progress in the UFO disclosure movement. It came in a frivolous form of a 'tweet' from one of Obama's top aides.
John Podesta: #thetruthisstilloutthere
In February 2015 Obama's Senior Adviser John Podesta tweeted this after resigning from his position:
"Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files. #thetruthisstilloutthere"
Why is this important? For a number of reasons.
- For one, Podesta (who was Bill Clinton's Chief of Staff and a long-time proponent of the Disclosure) directly contradicted an official White House statement on the subject.
- Two, no other high level member of the administration has ever made similar statements about the truth being "out there" so publicly, and so unequivocally.
- And three, Podesta is said to be the chairman of Hillary Clinton's upcoming presidential campaign, and one of her closest advisers who she describes as an “indispensable man.”
"We ought to do it [UFO files disclosure] because it's right, because the American people quite frankly can handle the truth, and we ought to do it because it's the law." ~ John Podesta
What could be more paradigm-changing than the discovery that alien life exists, and that it's been engaging humankind since the dawn of time?
Hillary Clinton (along with Bill Richardson and Dennis Kucinich) is considered one of the top pro-disclosure candidates by the UFO proponents, and she does appear to have an "ET connection," or at least an avid interest.
However, you have to question her dedication to the cause and how she plans to achieve what the Clintons tried and failed to achieve in the 1990s. In Dr. Steven Greer's words, they had “a pass at it and didn’t take it.” What's different now?
Besides...isn't the more pertinent question: Are we ready for the UFO Disclosure?
