US Taxpayer GM Bailout Money Paying Salary Of German Opel Workers - Part 2
What possible logic is operating there? No commercial logic at all. Only the logic of the Marxist command economy, where industries are told to produce one million widgets this year and they don't care what they cost or how deficient the widgets are or if anyone wants to actually buy those widgets once produced, they have to be manufactured no matter what.
When there is no free market dynamic there is no commercial logic. There is only taxpayer money financing utter stupidity.
When the American tax payer decided that they were not going to vehemently oppose the General Motors bailout by doing things as drastic as marching on Washington and demanding an impeachment, it was a tacit approval that the funds would be used to maintain American manufacturing jobs.
The last time I checked Germany was not part of the United States of America and there is no doubt whatsoever that countless millions if not billions of dollars that the American taxpayer worked hard to earn and then had to give away to the IRS are going to end up in Germany, paying the wages and the expenses and the health plans of German workers.
The European Union has contributed over a billion dollars to General Motors as well but is there any way of stating whether this particular Euro that is being paid to this particular workman came from a financial fund generated by the European Union or whether it came from the American taxpayer?
It is very simple to see what is happening here, as it is all quite transparent. General Motors was in big trouble and therefore it was selling off its European operation. Once it got a hold of Uncle Sam's money which is actually your money, they were all of a sudden not in such a hurry anymore so they can continue to lose money... after all, it's not their money, they don't care. It's your money.
What General Motors has done is to profoundly violate not only the spirit of the bailout but the actual essence of it. There is no way that American taxpayers should be asked to subsidize German workers' jobs. I can certainly assure you that the European Union does not want to subsidize American jobs in any way shape or form.
Therefore this is just another example of how thoroughly and despicably socialistic the White House has become in aiding and abetting the turning of one of the great free enterprise corporations that has ever existed on this planet, into a command economy underling. There is no excuse that can be possibly fathomed why this outrageous violation of American taxpayers rights and this outright theft of their money should be tolerated.
However, even though millions more Americans are slowly coming to the realization that the election of President Barack Hussein Obama has been the most disastrous presidential election since the beginning of the nation, almost two and a half centuries ago... they are still not thoroughly disgusted to a point where they are demanding impeachment. Perhaps they need to spend more of their hard earned tax dollars to save jobs in foreign countries before they finally wake up.
I certainly hope not.
