Cause and Effect: Help With Issues We Face

Updated on August 10, 2012

Real Choices for Input

Dealing with the issues by understanding how to get where we want to be requires attention to detail.

Thinking Through the Issues

Sick of the news media’s coverage of the players of our day and time, as well as their handling of the issues we are faced with, I decided to share a resource list of people who are working hard to help listeners make some sense out of what is going on in American society and in our global politics. I don't catch these people often enough, but every time I do, listening to them is worth the time.

Communication About The Issues

Can Help Promote Common Sense

These commentators have a solid understanding of cause and effect as well as a gift for helping people grasp important truths and then seek concrete solutions. Gleaning from their work can help us have worthy conversations with family and friends as well as help us communicate valid concerns to leadership.

• Find Richard Land Live here to get info on how to access his input as well as communicate with him.

• Some samples of Janet Parshall’s work on Talking It Over can be found here and more here.

• Don’t forget to check out links to her guests such as this for Donovan Campbell.

• Read Nile Gardiner, Ph.D. here and read his bio here.

Hope you can check their work out if you haven't already. We are a busy people and having the work of these commentators to refer to gives us the opportunity to think through issues more quickly. Their insight is designed to be a springboard for us to help us sort out the concerns we face so we can communicate solutions to other people.

If you find what they are saying to be helpful, share this information with friends and family who may not know that these people are contributing ideas and promoting values that we desperately need to regain and hold on to.

Character Issues

The issues our society faces are in large part due to a breakdown in character and values. Rather than write another essay related to those two topics I decided to include links to some of my work them. Hope you find them good reading.

• A firm grip on good character and values could have helped him make right decisions.

• What is our attitude about children?!

• The unthinkable, unimaginable murder of children by their mothers always stuns us.

Victims should not have to worry about incarcerated criminals reaching them!

• Just what is charitable work?

• Who are these people?

•S-C-R-A-B-B-L-E spells character?

• Indeed, green is in need of a definition.

A Question of freedom for businesses.

• The end of this list needs a touch of humor.

Are you familiar with these commentators?
