Union Intimidation

Updated on March 28, 2012

A Thug Is A Thug Is A Thug

Unions Have Outlived Their Usefulness

This is an election year and let there be no doubt that the union thugs will be very active. In fact, they already are as the recall election in Wisconsin is showing what they are capable of. One Republican state Senator is resigning her seat because of the blatant intimidation she has experienced at the hands of these goons. Because the woman doesn't agree with unions and their strong arm tactics doesn't make her a "pig" as she was called in one instance. The thugs will stop at nothing it seems if they have the public sucker snatched out of their mouths. It also would seem that Obama condones this type of activities in the name of reelection politics. I have yet to hear a word of condemnation coming from our President about the thugs he has working on his side. Please watch the video that was just released and has already gone viral.

Disgusting? Intimidation Is The Name Of Their Game

What right do these thugs have to target people in their homes. businesses and even go so far as invading their privacy through the use of their email accounts? There should really be no wonder about the reason workers don't want their private information in the hands of union bosses in light of what you just watched.

The Workforce Fairness Institute is now in the process of releasing a series of videos showing how these far left-wing thugs operate. A civil society has no place for people like this other than maybe in prisons. Because anyone wants to dissent does not mean that intimidation and the threat of violence should be a weapon to stifle that dissent. Obama calls for civil discourse? Really? As long as his left-wing goons are being uncivil, I reckon that is okay with him. Just don't let anyone else be guilty of such conduct?

Don't you find it interesting that the SEIU actually has a training manual distributed to instruct union goons how to intimidate, harass and threaten people in order to achieve their ends. The "bloody" comment was actually made during a rally by a US House Representative. So it's okay for one of our elected officials, who is supposed to be representing all his constituents, to make such public comments? How low is the left capable of stooping is my question?

Time To Shutter This Agency

What compounds this problem, from all appearances anyway, is the continued existence of the National Labor Relations Board. Do you see them issuing any condemnations or sanctions upon the unions and their conduct of intimidation? It has moved into a new realm of being a political tool under the Obama administration. It is supposed to be an impartial arbiter of labor disputes but the recent case of them taking Boeing to court shows just what their real bent is.

So again, having watched that video, why is it that the NLRB has been pushing for legislation that employers be required to turn over the names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of all workers within two days of filing an organizing petition? They can kiss my grits. Why in the world would anyone want to be intimidated or harassed just prior to such an event? Who gave the authority to the NLRB to push for legislation since they are impartial? The fact is the board is far from impartial.

Why did Obama make three non-recess appointments to that board when Congress wasn't in an official recess? What is Richard Trumpka doing on the frequent visitor program at The People's House? Questions, always those pesky little questions about Obama and his union ties.

I know wrong when I see it. No one, other than the employer, should have the right to the most private of information about its workers and releasing it without a worker's permission is wrong. Just as an employer wanting to have access to any worker's Facebook account is wrong. Both things are as wrong as you can get. In the case of the unions, with their record of harassing people and intimidation, the case should be closed as are employer records.

Brace yourselves and watch as we near the election this coming November. The unions of this nation have outlived their usefulness. Having said that myself, let them come to my private residence if they so desire. Nothing I hate worse than a thug and I don't hate very often.

As Always,

The Frog Prince

Remember In November

Unions have outlived their usefulness, Jim - just like career politicians. Banish them both.

Unions had their purpose long ago but today they have become a burden to our economy. My father was a union member back in the 50's. The union provided us with support during layoff's and also helped establish pay increases. Today, the benefits differ in purpose and support. Voted up.

I can't comment on this. My husbands job is affected by a Union and he signed something saying he couldn't cause or indirectly cause any trouble, or it would risk losing his job.

Pamela - The exemptions that have been handed out under Obamacare have gone to the favored few. Those who favor Obama's reelection. Yesterday in court didn't go well for the federal government.

Rhonda - Little by little the citizens of this nation are forfeiting their right to privacy for security. Thomas Jefferson warned of that danger.

Anje - Birds of a feather...

Fred - I never figured I had to join anything to have the right to work. Seems a rather strange idea to me. Ah, where the money goes. Those union bosses are enjoying those salaries that allow for that vacation home, the boats and toys and the trappings of corruption.

Well delineated, Jim. I'd pretty much given up on unions per se about the time the original Jimmy Hoffa disappeared. Did have to pay Teamster dues on one job after that--building freeway fence near Bozeman, MT--because I drove (get this) a post-pounding tractor at times.

Never did have a paper trail on how my compulsory dues got distributed.

      Voted Up & Plenty.

the Italian Mafia brought us the first drugs to our country in gallon sized marinara cans of heroine and then they spent decades slaughtering lots of people on our streets and they were the first ever gangbangers in our country and they brought the unions and I just read the other day that New York store owners are still paying them for "protection" all over New York city and what they need is protection from the gangsters---we have glorified these thugs for decades on TV and in movies and there have been reality shows about them and ppl eat the stuff up and today there is a show on called "MOb Wives" and all the husbands of these 6 women are in jail except for one girl who is Sammy the Bull's daughter and these women are rough and gangsters themselves and they live in beautiful and expensive homes and who pays for that----the unions pay for them to live----we should have driven these thugs out a long time ago, but we didn't and we don't---- and still we should imprison them all---if one of us was acting like this on the streets or on someone's lawn, we would be in jail----

Sir frog, you called it right. Thug is the word. I do not see how any of these actions can be legal. We have seen for years organized crime and even local level gangs use the same tactics. They get prosecuted and convicted for the very same behavior. Wrong is wrong. Demanding the private information of anyone to control them is outrageous. The fact that the current administration not only condones such actions, supports the unions openly even though they are aware of the actions, and lets face it, uses them for their own ends at every turn like a third arm of the dark side law only proves yet again that bad apple has spoiled the bunch or in this case is infecting the entire orchard! I shudder to think how bad things are going to get before they get better.

I am sorry for being behind on reading and being gone so much of late. When I got off vacation, work slammed me like a train. I'm hoping to get out from under the mountain by the end of the week and catch up on hubs. Keep telling the cold, hard truth, Sir Frog. No one does it quiet like you.

Very good hub and I think these men belong in jail also. Intimidation from a bunch of angry men is frightening. One reason I am against Obamacare is the fact that he made many of the unions exempt. Hardly fair! Rated up and useful.

These thugs need to be handcuffed and hauled away to jail. Obama is using 40,000 of these animals to get out the vote for him. That scares the hell out of me. Up and useful and awesome.

Rick - Just the foul language continually used during that video is testament to the weak minds behind those tongues.

Donna - I'm not sure anymore what drives a Hub's initial rating. I suspect that it is who is sitting in the moderator's chair in many cases. So be it. I will continue to speak my peace.

Excellent Jim. Tell us like it is and voted up.

I think the union on HUB is keeping your hubs at low scores too. This should have started off with at least an 80.

I have been in several unions over the last 50 years of my working life but that was long before they turned into an Authorized Enforcement arm of The Liberal Regime.

I would never lower myself to join the SEIU in the gutters of this kind of thug action but I DO have the same rights they do, right?

What puzzles me is how once thoughtful, rational, human beings can transform into an vicious, unthinking, animals with total disregard for civilized behavior. Only in the animal kingdom does one species show the kind of in-born killer instinct not generally found in a civilized society.

When we are raised in a society of human kindness from grade school to adult life, a set of common sense "thou shall not kill" kind of guidelines is taught and accepted.

To throw all of that away and turn into something your childhood teachers would not recognize will forever haunt my thoughts.
