WAKE UP AMERICA TO 2000 PAGES OF HOCUS POKUS

Updated on October 12, 2015

CONGRESS AT WORK ?

11/04/09

The Pelosi Healthcare bill proposed has over 2,000 pages of a government take over,New taxes and government control of the future of our great country's healthcare industry.A proposed Republican bill was not allowed to be debated on the floor , the bill was 70% smaller.

The Pelosi Healthcare bill cost were projected to be $1.1 Trilion (adding to the DEFICIT )The Republican proposed bill cost the taxpayers NOTHING because of correcting HEALTHCARE /INSURANCE problems. Now tell me which bill should Congress consider to be working on to solve healthcare problems, the Pelosi bill or the Republican bill?

Wake up America, let's get with it. It's time to make our elected officials tell us the whole truth. In the Pelosi bill, in year 2013,no one would be allowed to purchase insurance from insurance companies except from government approved companies approved by our GOVERNMENT.Is it possible to verify that with your Congressman or Senator before he or she votes?

We the PEOPLE should be asking CONGRESS and the President, Where are the JOBS ? The Stimulus funding that was passed by the super majority Democrat Congress was to provide jobs. As of today, only 15% of the Tarp money has been distributed, WHY IS THAT ? Candidate Obama in 2008 promised jobs if elected. He was ELECTED, so when will the job market come back?

As of July 2,2011 the only work on the 2012 budget has been the House’s approval of the Ryan 2012 budget which was rejected in the Senate. President Barak Obama spoke this past week and chided Congress to work on raising the national debt limits. Interesting that not once did he mentioned that the Democrats control the Senate and are the problem in getting an agreement with the Republicans. A question remains as to why the Senate has not presented a 2012 budget so that real hard negotiations can continue discussing raising the national debt issue.

TODAY IS 6/26/11, the Senate has not yet produced a 2012 budget. The Senate voted 97-0 to reject the Obama 2012 budget proposed in April.

The only approved budget is the Ryan budget that the House has approved.

The national debt remains at $14.3 trillion, spending has surpassed the limits.

President Obama recently announced that he will VETO any bill that the Republicans present on repealing Obamacare. The Obama administration has approved over 1500 waivers to the bill. Recently the administration gave the Medicare Advantage Plans $2.2 billion to plug into the plans so that theycould meet support claims.

The CBO now estimates that the Healthcare bill will not be deficit neutral as first reported. The bill will create a $1 trillion deficit now that the Obama administration has revised the information.

The Obama 2012 budget will cut $4 trillion from the National Debt in 12 years. Government projections are always on a 10 year basis. On a 10 years basis, the Obama budget would cut only $2.5 trillion and not reduce spending but would add more taxation on the public. Just the facts and the truth.

The 2012 Ryan budget cuts $4.5 trillion from the National Debt in 10 years .There are no changes or cuts in Medicare for those 55 and older. No changes for the next 10 years. The bill cuts business exemptions to offset any tax increases.

The Healthcare Reform bill was signed into law on March 23,2010 by President Barak Obama.

Recently on March 23,2011 the Obama Healthcare Reform bill had it's 1 year anniversary. Twenty three states have filed lawsuits to have the bill repealed. The Obama administration has granted over 1000 waivers to the bill. Waivers have been granted to businesses, states and labor unions. President Barak Obama stated that the LABOR UNIONS would not be exempt from the law, apparently the President made another false statement when questioned about the content of the 2300 page bill prior to the passage of the legislation

The CBO has reviewed revised documents submitted by the Obama administration and have changed the projected deficit upward to $1 trillion.

Sadly the Obama supporters have their heads in the sand and are buying into Pinocchio lies. This bill is a disaster and thankfully the people of Massachusetts stepped up to the plate.

The days of mega bills crammed full of bad legislation have got to end! Issues need to be addressed one at a time.

Look how the Democrats killed Ron Pauls HR1207 - by burying it in a disastrous mega-bill instead of letting it stand on it's own feet.
