We Need a Firing Squad

Updated on September 16, 2018

Ant Antoine Has Had Enough

Antoine is at the Stove

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, September 16, 2018. Our very French friend, Ant Antoine, is in the kitchen preparing Banana Bread French Toast for our enjoyment. I will be preparing Irish coffees to help Antoine calm down. Antoine has asked for the pleasure of your company this morning. When you get here, he is prepared to tell you exactly what is on his mind. I'll leave the door open.

Bring on the Pink Slips

Thanks so much for coming to breakfast this morning. I've given what I am about to say serious consideration. I don't think President Trump should wait until after the midterms to get rid of all the liars, cheats and thieves in his administration. This nation cannot tolerate another minute of Mob Mueller. His ugly witch hunt has gone on for far too long. He needs to be fired along with his handpicked Democrat cronies who are conspiring to bring down my president. His tactics are dirty and his actions are outrageous. I expect that if he is allowed to continue, he will bring in the White House chef and put the screws to him. The president can fire Mueller and he should.

Broken Allegiance

Sessions has to go as well. I'm not sure he hasn't already beat a fast path to the door. I haven't seen or heard from him. Have you? His tenure as Attorney General was a huge mistake. He is doing a rather remarkable imitation of a member of the Deep State. Surely, there is someone in the Justice Department with integrity. President Trump will have to dig much deeper to find that person. The swamp goes down much further than anyone thought. The intelligence community and the Department of Justice need a cleaning. Waiting until Spring is not a good idea. The bad apples have to go. We already know so many of them, but there is a great deal more work to do. If this coward "anonymous" really is a senior administration insider surely someone can expose him or her. There isn't much we can do about the gutless New York Times except pray for their timely demise. The same is true of the rest of the fake news circuit. The constant lying occurring on networks like CNN or MSNBC has to be stopped. We need to ignore them until their ratings fall to zero. I wish it were possible to fire a network, but we will just have to let nature take its course. If it was possible, I would charge them with brainwashing. The last I heard, brainwashing wasn't legal. The same tactics should be applied to people like Bob Woodward. His new book is dangerous and disgusting. I hope it gathers dust sitting untouched on the shelf.

Bullies Abound

If it were possible to fire the bullies in Congress, Maxine Waters would be number one on the list. Her rantings have bloodied the "waters" in Washington, pun intended. If it is possible to bring her up on ethics charges, it would be about time. The same can be said for Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schemer and Cory Booker. The good news is that Booker has been brought up on charges.. I hope it leads him out the door of Congress. I think we can safely add Diane Feinstein to the list. Her latest gambit to destroy Brett Kavanaugh may have deservedly fallen on deaf ears. As of now, there are no plans to take this ugly accusation any further. The Dems are so desperate to block Kavanaugh that they have dug up a highly suspicious incident that reported occurred when Kavanuagh was in high school. Par for the course, the accuser doesn't wish to make herself known. Thankfully, nearly 70 women who have known Kavanaugh for a long time strongly attest to his character. I doubt that the same thing could be said about Feinstein or her left wing conspirators.

No Time for Crying

There is no question that the Deep State is a threat to our nation. We have people in high places plotting to remove our president or derail his administration. The fact that President Trump has accomplished so much is a testament to his skill and ability to function effectively at a really high level. Those that hate him, hate me. Those that seek his removal from office are my enemies. I love this country and I firmly believe that President Trump loves it too. We need to clean house. We need to get out the pink slips. We need to press charges. We need to see consequences for really bad and illegal behavior. I think we need to see all this right now. No good can possibly come from waiting.

Antoine's Song

Let's go, children of the homeland

The day of reckoning is upon us

Against you, tyranny's ugly flag is raised.

Hillary?? That broad has no business even opening her ignorant, filthy, lying mouth. She can just shut UP and remain that way until she departs this earth. We've all heard more than enough crap, garbage and blatant lies from that disgusting bitch. How dare she? It's mind-boggling how she has the audacity to show her face in public, much less speak!

What happened to all her serious health issues during the campaign?? Damn, I thought she'd have bought the farm by now but as we know...only the good die young. Her kind of grotesque evil can probably live forever. (I'm sure that thrills Billy Boy) LOL

She is such a huge bag of horse manure.

NowI heard it was a fake penis! God help us. This is all B.S to me and the Dems who concocted it should go to jail. The icing on the cake was Hillary saying that the FBI should investigate. First, let's see the FBI investigate you Hillary and your corrupt husband who truly is sexually screwed up!

With the second person accusing Kavanaugh, this time for indecent exposure in his freshman year at Yale. The democrats are now calling for the Ford Thurs interview to be postponed while the FBI investigates.

I comment on it in my own article on Ford, but it is a fellow Yale student female that claims while being very drunk, foggy and slurring her words seems to recollect after talking to her attorney(S) that she remember it was Kavanaugh that put his penis near her face as she lay very drunk on the floor after playing a drinking game.

Again, the date is not crisp, somewhere between 1983-84.

In both Ford and this new woman Debbie Ramirez the only thing that is crisp in the memory is they say it is Kavanaugh without a doubt. And whom does Ramirez tell this story after over three decades, of course the New Yorker Magazine.

So now it is Kavanaugh in high school and then the freshmen year at Yale. This is the democrats trying to make a pattern against Kavanaugh. Yet, his entire career has been blemish free.

Yes, there should be an investigation, but it should be on Ford and Ramirez. You notice that the new girl is Ramirez. I guess that Ford was too white, and they needed some diversity.

In neither of these two women's accusation has there been any corroborating witnesses to back them up.

They both had very sketchy memories of the incident, time to follow the money and see where these two women fit into the democrat playbook.

It is no longer the 11th hour, it is the 14th hour. Yale is in Connecticut and that state has both a misdemeanor and felony version of indecent exposure. According to the Ramirez story the accusation would at best only fall under the misdemeanor crime, if at all. And I believe that like Maryland they don't include sexual assaults being expired by any statute of limitations.

This is similar to murder which has no statute of limitations. Are these two crimes of equal value to share that same policy?

      Good Morning brad,

Ford doesn't get to set the rules, period. Her demands are insane and any delay on her part should not be tolerated. This isn't a criminal trial. She has had 40 years to get her story straight This process must be expedited, or it will fall apart and Kavanaugh will not be confirmed. See you at the Inn.

All of your scenarios are interesting, and scary.

Both the DR. Ford and the Ellison cases are pushed in the wrong direction by the democrats in congress.

They both should be held to the existing standard of our criminal jurisprudence foundation. One standard for all.

      In law, I believe that

An accusation is merely an opinion of the accuser.

An arrest is also an opinion, it is an opinion by law enforcement.

Neither of these two opinion is a legal fact of guilt.

To get to the fact or guilt or innocence requires the due process of the criminal justice system that represents the constitution and the case law of the US.

A guilty or not guilty verdict is not necessarily the truth of the matter, as people make these decisions and people can make mistakes. But it does satisfy the standard, and the due process.

Politics should follow the standard, not vice versa.

What is going to happen in the future when two gay people or lesbian have this same situation, who then will the democrats say should be the one to believe?

    • tsadjatko profile image

3 weeks ago from now on

Brad, I had not heard of the Ellison accusation. Thanks for contributing that.

      There is however one standard!

That is that the standard is whatever the Democrats want it to be at any time in any case, so the standard is set by Democrats and enforced by the media who instills intense fear in Republicans that the media will slander them for opposing whatever the Democrats want ... and so they cave.

What is happening here is vile (those letters can be rearranged to spell evil) and no baseless accusation should ever be allowed to result in the sort of circus we have here. The Republicans are a bunch of woosies for not saying it.

You want the truth, confirm Kavanaugh yesterday and she can go to the police, have that jurisdiction prosecute Kavanaugh and when he is convicted I am certain no one would object to impeaching him from the bench.

The flip side, if she doesn’t prosecute him (no prosecuter who cares about his career would but the Dems can find one, he may lose his job but then he will be qualified to become a Democrat Senator) or does and he is found not guilty Kavanaugh should sue her for filing a false charge and for everything she’s got lest the Democrats try to pull this charade again.

It has been difficult to find the latest demands made the Dr Ford to testify and when that testimony might actually occur.

The simplest and fairest way for her testimony under oath should happen the same way as if she were filing a criminal report. And that would include what follows that report as far as due process.

Her request to have Kavanaugh go first is absurd, and that may be the poison pill that allows the democrats to have her back out and use that as a political platform for the midterm elections.

Using the format of filing a criminal report is what would have happened if she reported the alleged crime when it happened.

To change that to any other demand is not reasonable.

One of her demands was that Kavanaugh couldn't be in the room when she testified. OK, that wouldn't happen until a trial following the police report, and an arrest warrant.

At the filing of the police report, there should be enough evidence or not for a DA to either go to trial of not based on how much the evidence would support going to trial.

This happens thousands of times every day across the country, why should it be different for Dr. Ford. The democrats say even if she decides not to testify for whatever reason, they will go for impeaching him if he is confirmed.

When a mere accusation has the full weight and credit of an arrest, a trial and a guilty verdict, we have then lost the rules of law and the backing of the US constitution.

That is what is happening now. But the democrats are not treating Kavanaugh the same way they are treating a democrat.

"Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison scored a victory Tuesday night in the Minnesota primary race for the state's attorney general days after domestic abuse accusations against him surfaced.

Ellison, who serves as the deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee and is the first Muslim elected to Congress, was accused over the weekend of emotional and physical abuse by an ex-girlfriend.

Addressing the abuse allegations in his victory speech, Ellison said: “We had a very unexpected event at the end of this campaign that happened. I want to assure you that it is not true.”

Ellison ran for the position against state Rep. Debra Hilstrom, former Department of Commerce Commissioner Mike Rothman, former Ramsey County Attorney Tom Foley and attorney Matt Pelikan.

The abuse allegations against the congressman first emerged on Saturday when the son of Ellison’s ex-girlfriend, Karen Monahan, alleged on Facebook that he’d read threatening text messages from the lawmaker. He also claimed to have watched a video in which Ellison dragged Monahan off a bed by her feet."

The Ellison is recent and with a lot of evidence, the Ford is 36 years old, and no evidence.

They are treating these two women opposite, why?

We either have one standard, or there are no standards!

      Here is another fact

"At the start of each new Congress, all Members beginning a new term of office (the entire House of Representative and one-third of the Senate) take an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States."

      Here is the letter

      "July 30 2018

      CONFIDENTIAL

      Senator Dianne Feinstein

      Dear Senator Feinstein;

I am writing with information relevant in evaluating the current nominee to the Supreme Court.

As a constituent, I expect that you will maintain this as confidential until we have further opportunity to speak.

Brett Kavanaugh physically and sexually assaulted me during high school in the early 1980's. He conducted these acts with the assistance of REDACTED.

Both were one to two years older than me and students at a local private school.

The assault occurred in a suburban Maryland area home at a gathering that included me and four others.

Kavanaugh physically pushed me into a bedroom as I was headed for a bathroom up a short stair well from the living room. They locked the door and played loud music precluding any successful attempt to yell for help.

Kavanaugh was on top of me while laughing with REDACTED, who periodically jumped onto Kavanaugh. They both laughed as Kavanaugh tried to disrobe me in their highly inebriated state. With Kavanaugh's hand over my mouth I feared he may inadvertently kill me.

From across the room a very drunken REDACTED said mixed words to Kavanaugh ranging from "go for it" to "stop."

At one point when REDACTED jumped onto the bed the weight on me was substantial. The pile toppled, and the two scrapped with each other. After a few attempts to get away, I was able to take this opportune moment to get up and run across to a hallway bathroom. I locked the bathroom door behind me. Both loudly stumbled down the stair well at which point other persons at the house were talking with them. I exited the bathroom, ran outside of the house and went home.

I have not knowingly seen Kavanaugh since the assault. I did see REDACTED once at the REDACTED where he was extremely uncomfortable seeing me.

I have received medical treatment regarding the assault. On July 6 I notified my local government representative to ask them how to proceed with sharing this information. It is upsetting to discuss sexual assault and its repercussions, yet I felt guilty and compelled as a citizen about the idea of not saying anything.

I am available to speak further should you wish to discuss. I am currently REDACTED and will be in REDACTED.

      In confidence, REDACTED.

No your fault. If all the news fell in the street everyday, if would be like the old needle in the haystack. Where the haystack would be fake news, and the needle would be real news.

It looks like now that Monday isn't going to happen, as the democrats like Adam Schiff are running around with a rope looking for a tree. Instead of feeding the crowd with alcohol like the old noose parties, they are using their bully pulpit with the media. They have Kavanaugh hung in effigy.

None of what the left is doing should stop the confirmation vote. The had two months to do whatever investigating they needed on getting their Trojan Horse setup. Who knows with the republicans they might not vote to confirm him because of the Rinos. In any case, if the confirm him, then they can still investigate and impeach him if they actually can prove he is guilty of Ford's accusation. Which according to Schiff is Attempted Rape.

Whatever happens, you be assured that Kavanaugh is the new Democrat core political platform. And that means that the sheep will vote in the midterm based on a single what will turn out to be meaningless red herring.

They are using this as a diversion to take the spotlight off of the deep state that is unraveling.

If I were president Trump, I would make the spotlight on the FISA and emails of those in the administration like McCabe, Strzok et al. I would then gather up the heads of the DOJ, and FBI and put them on camera and have them tell the country that they are behind president Trump's order to declassify and get unredacted documents he authorized and get it by next week. The democrats again are trying to get these agencies to sidestep or completely refuse to do it.

Get these heads for the DOJ Sessions, and Rosenstein, and for the FBI on camera, and tell them he wants these clean documents by next week. If they don't agree, then fire them for their insolence and failure to follow the direction of the US president. We have been playing the democrat game for ten years. They already have the document redacted, that means they already have the clean documents.

I would give them 3 days, and if the documents weren't there, I would give them one last chance, then do what he did to Sally Yates.

Once fired, they should be investigated to determine any of their activities being criminal.

I am not president Trump, but what is the purpose of Trump being president if he doesn't have the backing of at least the republicans in congress, and the republican and hopefully the independent voters.

A vote of confidence is needed!

That is too bad, isn't it?

BTW, I think that if you look up her resume, it will show that she is heavily into statistics on human behavior. I believe that this is no he said she said, this is as they do in boxing a measured punch. It doesn't hurt, but watch out for what is coming next.

For example, you know how the left has several groups already warning the Judge Kavanaugh is going to reverse Roe v Wade. That is one of Ford's issues, and she is heavily into the lbgtq and the rest of its alphabet.

How these facts will play, who can think like the left. And Ford is way out west in more ways than one.

The only thing missing is she isn't a non white woman. One less element to defend against.

My other thought is that Ford doesn't have to show up on Monday because the major damage has already been inflicted by her allegation.

Kavanaugh can never return to innocence simply because of her accusation. I wrote a hub on innocence so I won't do it here.

Going to the hearing on Monday would mean that there is a real chance she is doing for herself, at least an argument can be made on it. Because she will be under oath and then there can be legal consequences for lying.

But as it stands now, why would she chance that. She has her pound or kilogram of flesh. Although a Kilogram is 2,2 times that of a pound, so maybe a half of a kilogram. It sounded much funnier when it played in my head.

The president and the republicans made the correct first move. Acknowledge the incident, take it serious. Then they offered Ford several venues, public, private and even going to her house.

This limits the moves that Ford and her attorney can successfully make. I am sure the left thought that Trump and republicans would play into their hands by dismissing the accusation as being too old and too minor to be taken seriously.

If you got this far, thank you.

      I agree.

I submit that the FBI if they do any investigating, they should focus on Dr. Ford. Let us start with following the money trail. Who is paying Dr. Ford's attorney(s). That will go a long way to determining credibility.

Also, why did she take her polygraph test in August, if she wanted to remain anonymous. This seems to be a well planned strategy from the Hillary Clinton democrat play book.

This looks more like the classic UFO report, when only one person has seen it.

If we are to base credibility to decide this issue, then we have already have six FBI investigations on Judge Kavanaugh, and zero on Dr. Ford.

And I agree that we should not be smearing Judge Kavanaugh with accusations that have been morphed from assault, to rape. Yet, that is what the media and the democrats in congress are doing.

One and only one fact, if proven could win Dr Ford credibility here.

That fact would be that she had a child from the "rape" and that child's father is a match for the judge.

Barring that she has no credibility based on the tactics of how she brought this subject to where it is today.

It is similar to the illegal alien that killed Mollie Tibbetts, who said he blacked out when she was killed. Sounds like the work of the ACLU.

They should really change the meaning of the letter C in ACLU, from Civil to Criminal!

      BTW, NY Egg Cream Soda.

my version Yoo Hoo and Coke. Fast and easy, and tastes good.

      Thanks

      Good Morning Virginia,

Brennan has earned a cell block alongside Comey, Clapper, Hillary, Strzok, Lerner and on and on I can go. What is happening now is so pathetic, it must be dealt with and disposed of immediately. How obvious are the Dems get in their desperation to destroy everything about the president. In doing that they are destroying all of us, and I hope that Trump can put an end to it. Draining the swamp is almost an impossible job, but it must be done.

I don't see this as a win win for the Dems. If she doesn't show top, no one will take her seriously and Kavanuagh will be confirmed. I have had it with these people who are acting like sworn enemies of the state. This 11th hour ploy is sickening. See you at the Inn T.

Good Morning Pop and Ant Antoine,

The philosophy of failure is spreading as the ground work was laid in the 60's when most of the schools started to change what and how was to be taught. Family life started falling apart and the social life was changing with the new gospels of change.

President Trump was the first to openly bring to the soap box a narrative that a so quiet, so well mannered republican society had kept silent about for so long......never again.

Jeff Sessions has done nothing and needs to be replaced immediately. I agree that Trey Gowdy is the perfect candidate to be AG.....such a brilliant mind.

I am forever hoping POTUS will find a way to rid the government of all the worthless parasites and programs that have produced nothing but a loss of tax payers dollars for years.

It will be interesting to watch as Ms. Ford faces Judge Kavanaugh.....she is such a joke.....Impossible to believe....to much to say on this ridiculous claim.

....Want to add that John Brennan refers to President Trump as Mr. Trump when referring to his president . This pathetic piece of humanity gets his paycheck plus all benefits from our tax dollars.

      Breakfast sounds delicious...see you there.

Well BP, it is obvious that this whole thing was a planned strategy from the start.

The accuser will never testify, they don't want her to testify because she will be torn apart. What they want is for the Republicans to cave and keep postponing the vote so they might have a chance to nix kavanaugh after the elections but if they don't postpone and he is appointed they will run with the election ad that a bunch of old Republican sexist white guys put a sexual offender in the SC without letting his victim be heard.

It's a win win for the Democrats either way. They have done this before and will do it again, count on it.

      Good Morning brad,

There is way too much about this allegation that bothers me. Thirty six years later a woman comes forward to derail Kavanughs confirmation. She does not remember when this assault took place. She can't remember the year. That alone is highly unusual when it comes to traumatic events. Former students of hers characterize her as dark, angry and off psychologically. Women who knew him back then can't imagine that there is any truth to this. His accuser is also a far left activist who spent the last two days deleting all her social media. Let's also keep in mind that we are not talking about rape here. This woman escaped despite the fact that two men were on top of her! In any case, I heard that she may not testify. If so, they had better push for this vote and move on. I'll save you a seat at the Inn.

      Pop

The update is that both Doctor Ford and Kavanaugh will meet with the congressional committee on the allegation.

Kamela Harris our great CA dem Attorney General now our dem CA senator, says she believes Doctor Ford. What a surprise.

What is no surprise is how wimpy the republicans have been since Trump became president. They have shrunk and stayed down in the corner while the democrats have ruled the roost.

It is these republicans that just don't seem to want to fight. If they had they would have forced the farce Russian Trump collusion when Trump fired Comey. And Trump made a big mistake by not clearing the field when he took the presidency.

I still like Trump but that doesn't mean he didn't make these mistakes. If the republicans don't make a fight for Kavanaugh and the democrats get their way over this ridiculous allegation then we will be like the CA government run by the democrats.

You might as well adopt the constitution of any country that doesn't have any freedoms for its people.

What happened to AZ with John McCain and Jeff Flake, a Rino controlled state.

"Jeffry Lane Flake (born December 31, 1962) is an American politician serving as the senior United States Senator for Arizona. He is a Republican.. Upon graduating from college, Flake worked briefly at a public relations firm in Washington, D.C., before returning to Africa to serve as executive director of the Foundation for Democracy in Namibia."

Democracy, really Flake wouldn't know democracy if he was standing with the founding fathers after we won the revolutionary war.

Something bad happened in Az. It doesn't matter that Flake is not running for reelection because he is doing the work for the democrats.

I suspect the core of the problem is that a lot of democrats have left CA and moved to Az and Texas infecting it with democratism instead of democracy.

I already wrote about the Kavanaugh debacle so I won't bore anyone here.

We had a two party system here, but how do we tell them apart today? Most of them look Red to me.

      Good Morning Lori,

Feinstein had a letter in your possession since July that came from a Democrat liberal professor who says that Kavanaugh tried to sexually assault her in high school. Feinstein sat on that letter until now. She could have asked Kavanaugh at the hearings about it, and he could have defended himself. In any case, it is clear that no one is safe from those trying to stop Trump. See you at the Inn.

Ant Antoine you are on your game today. Where can I get a pair of antennae’s like yours cause they aren’t missing a thing!

We can only hope Trump has the upper hand on all this and is just holding back for the right time to drop the boom, declassify incriminating correspondence we know he has and clean house like some think he should have done from the start.

I have to laugh at the liberals though, like Bill who challenges your observation by saying “you really don’t think anyone takes Pelosi seriously, do you?”

While that is true of everyone but the democrats, it’s the Democrat party (I have to assume Bill’s party) then who chooses leaders they don’t take seriously. Tell me Antoine, doesn’t that make your antennae cringe? It would mine if I had antennae, I think. You tell me. Actually, if like Bill says the Democrats want her to retire, it’s not because they don’t take her seriously, it’s probably because they do take her seriously, she isn’t helping them.

On the other hand, Trey Gowdy will be sorely missed because everybody has to take him seriously. I’m certain the Republicans weren’t telling him to retire.

      Hi Pop,

“The swamp goes down much further than anyone thought”, best line in the article. If people don’t realize that by now, they never pay attention to anything or they enjoy dwelling with the swamp critters.

I so agree, out with the old and stale, in with the new and fresh, we’ve got the right person at the helm, he just needs the right crew surrounding him.

I don't trust the intelligence community or the DOJ anymore either. Thirteen FBI agents have been leaking stuff to a left wing reporter. They still have their jobs! The one thing lacking in all of this is consequences. We know what Hillary did, yet she is free. Mueller has gone too far, and it is not the first time. He still moves along wrecking lives. Just one short comment.....Sessions HAS to go! If the POTUS can simply pluck anyone he chooses to replace Goofy Sessions, must I actually tell you who the very BEST man would be? It starts with Trey and ends with Gowdy. God, I LOVE that man.

Don't need to save me a seat at the inn since I won't be there today. Have the legs fixed on my stool pls! I notice it was a little shaky the last time I was there. Eeek!! No libs have sneaked in, have they??!

I'm not even going to pretend to know what all you are referring to here. Some of it I am generally aware of and some of it is completely over my head. I have not watched or followed the news in months, and am that much happier for it. But then I would look kind of silly trying to put in two cents about whether or not people should go when I have no facts at all to even form an opinion one way or another on these matters. So..... What I will say is that reading your articles are fun. I can picture your characters as a TV or a radio series.
