Facts Concerning Abortion

Updated on January 30, 2014

Obviously this is a topic that is very close to my heart. Not because I am standing in judgement and screaming hell fire damnation! The reason I write is because I think that there is a need to know versus not knowing, not only on this subject but in all subjects and topics, not restricted to but including those that I care deeply about. Once again this article is only for informational purposes and not to offend anyone. It is simply factual information. I will not be very graphic in my words or descriptions because as I stated before my goal is to give you information that can help you in your decision making. For the reasons previously stated this will be a fairly short hub. To start, there is information about the fetus that I'd like to share with you. My belief based upon my faith and factual information is that a child has life before and at the moment of conception. At its earliest form it is a life, just a life in the beginning stage. I know that sounds redundant but its true. Here are some facts that you may not know: Between 18 and 24 days the baby's heart is beating, even before the mother knows that she has conceived. At 6 weeks the baby has arms and legs and moves them accordingly. At 43 days, his brain waves can be read, his heart is beating very sturdy and his stomach produces digestive juices. The liver is already producing blood cells. At 8 weeks the baby is surrounded in amniotic fluid, which he or she can open his mouth to drink. Tests have shown that when a needle is inserted into the amniotic sac, if the point pokes or nips the baby he immediately moves away. Not only is he feeling but he is completely formed and all organs are functioning. The baby even urinates and can make strong fists and move fingers and toes. At these stages of fetus development abortion is performed. In closing I would just like to reiterate that this is information that should be shared because it is always good to have all the facts laid out before you in any decision making, because the more you know the more accurate your decision will be. For more information on fetus development go to: If you are interested in seeing a live abortion performed and what occurs please go to: Once again this is a live procedure and it is very graphic in nature so please beware.I would like to leave you with the thought that you have more choices than you know about. Please do research. Not judging just presenting you with another way of thinking. (smile)!
